Can't copy illustrator CC 2014 vector shapes to Fireworks CS6 is it bug or Adobe left Fireworks

I'm trying to copy vector shapes from Illustrator CC 2014 after I tring to paste Fireworks CS6 it says Cant copy files. EROR!!
If you have any solve please tell me

I can't download Illustrator CC 2014.1. It just doesn't show up in the Creative Cloud application. It just shows the old Illustrator CC 2014.

Have you checked Help>Updates within application.
Is it still not showing the Illustrator 2014.1 to update?
If you still don't see the update then rename the AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat file to AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat_old and
recheck the update with in application.

If you still facing the problem then SIGN OUT from Creative Cloud Desktop app and rename OOBE folder.

Using Explorer, navigate to \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\.
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old.
Windows 64 bit
Using Explorer, navigate to \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\.
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old.
Mac OS
Using Finder, navigate to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/.
Important: Perform these steps in the system Library folder. If prompted, enter your Administrator password.
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old.

Can't launch Illustrator CC 2014.1 on Mac

I have a MacBook Pro Retina and have been unable to launch or open files in illustrator since I installed the latest version two days ago (Oct. 6). I need this program for work and really need to get it working ASAP.
I have installed a previous version of Illustrator as a temporary fix. Any tips on how to fix this? I have already uninstalled, restarted the computer, run the CC Cleaner Tool, and reinstalled and it still does not work.

Vector Shapes Drawn in CS6 vs CS5

Hi,
First off, amazing job on CS6 beta. I'm in love with it. It's the little changes that have made a lot of difference in my workflow.
I have a question. If I draw a vector shape using the drawing tool in CS6 beta, save the file as PSD and open it in CS5, those shapes will not appear. CS5 gives an error message indicating some layers aren't readable, and suggests to flatten it instead. Is there a way to fix this under Preferences or is there a way to make them compatible?

Shapes created in CS6 with a fill should work in CS5.
But there is no way to make them 100% compatible because CS6 has features that CS5 did not.
And CS5 will not be able to show the strokes on shapes.
The message in CS5 is because the file contains data that CS5 can't understand -- no, there is no way to avoid that, because it's telling you something important.

Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

Can I copy Brushes, Styles, etc., from Elements to PS CS6?

The program's Associations did take over my photos, but I was able to change that, except that now the icons are different from what I'm used to. So I have some new questions for you guys and gals....
1- Can I change the icons to what they used to be before the installation? They take a long time to change to allow me to see my pic's icons.
2- If so, can you tell me how?
I have tons and tons of really cool Brushes and Styles in my Elements 7 - I'd really like to be able to copy them over to CS6.
3- Can the Brushes and Styles be copied over to Photoshop?
4- If so, can you please show me how I can do that?

I know there's a path that you have to follow to install Brushes in PS. Since I just got my CS6 a few days ago, I just have no idea what that path looks like - is it the 1st one you showed above? I guess that "Roaming" text sort of threw me off. And that "Replace brushes" thingy scares me since I do not really want to replace any Brushes, I just want to upload some.
Anyway, I've been checking some things out on YouTube and most people say to drag and drop into CS6 and then the Brush just shows up. I just prefer to have the correct info so that I just learn it once, from the right source.

Can I export from Premiere 2014 CC version to Encore CS6?

Trying to make a BluRay...the Mpg2 that I exported won't import into Encore.

You shouldn't need to rename anything, what exactly was the workflow used? Something is off. Can you post a screen shot of export settings panel?

How can I open the right URL in PDF?It's like a bug in adobe reader.

In my case, the PDF in our company always have a DOI on it, which is a URL can lead the reader to the article’s website page. But we found out that the URL in the PDF wouldn't show the link completely, If the URL is http://dx.doi.org/10.6310/jog.2009.4(3).3 in PDF, and I click the link, it will link to http://dx.doi.org/10.6310/jog.2009.4 . It is a big problem that would take the reader to the meaningless page. And it seems a bug, because the url is Ok if I use PDF-Viewer to open it. Can you help us to deal with this problem? Parsing parentheses in a URL is a problem for Reader and Office as well. It's not a good idea to use parentheses in URLs for that reason. Some older browsers will even have trouble with them.

Animating vector shapes

I am trying to animate a logo in after effects. The logo has three letter I's made up of arrow shapes. I would like the arrow shapes to increase in height but I simply have no idea how to do this in after effects. Should I draw the shape in AE? Should I import vector shapes? The logo shape is attached below. I'd like each arrow to grow in series from smallest to largest. Maybe someone can explain how to animate one of the arrows and I can build on that to animate the rest of the shapes?

There are several ways to do this. One is to animate the shape layer or mask path. The other is to create layered artwork in Illustrator with arrow shapes that are longer than needed, then must animate. If the artwork is already created it would help to know how it was done. If you want to create the shapes from scratch then you can simply copy each of the arrow shapes using the pen tool in AE, or by using other drawing tools. Another solution would be to create a triangle and a rectangle, then animate the position of the triangle and the scale of the rectangle. The only thing that is kind of constant in the project is that each layer that is a different color should probably be unique.

Created a CYMK vector shape logo in photoshop, now need to change to spot colors HELP!?

I have created a 3 color logo with vector shapes in photoshop CS6. The problem is the client wants it to be 3 spot colors rather than CYMK. Does anyone have a quick and easy way for me to change the individual vector shape layers into various spot colors instead that maintains the vector quality? I don't want to have to redraw all these shapes. Help would be VERY appreciated with this.

Your client is speaking in the language of Illustrator, in which spot colors represent specific, sometimes specialist colours. I can think of no reason why you can't use Photoshop, but ask the client if they want to provide you with values for the spot colours? If I understand it correctly, the printer will interpret each of the three spot colours you use, to represent the specific inks/colours the client needs.

You encounter it sometimes when printing catalogs which contain sponsor logos. I can remember once getting an incredibly detailed PDF from Canon on how we could use their logo, with warnings of dire consequences if we got it wrong.

i created the above in ill CS4 [i created the above PDF for you to see]. i printed it direct from the ill file and the curves are not what i thought they would be. but then again, maybe it's because of the printer we use?
we use an HP 2550 color laser printer. maybe this printer can't handle the pen tool vector shapes? am i not making the shapes the proper way to insure they are smooth when printed? or is it the printer?

Is your printer a postscript printer? What resolutions does it support? What is its max resolution?
If it is a Postscript printer check the settings in Advanced of the print dialog.

How do I flatten a background pattern in Illustrator CC 2014?

A client has sent me through some artwork through and there is a background pattern to it - now when I move the artwork the background pattern doesn't move with it - meaning it looks different when I move it - I want it to look the same so is there a way I can flatten the background pattern?
No layers are locked - in fact the artwork is one layer.

Changing a circular vector shape's size

I need to be able to change (via lingo) the vertex list of a
circle so that
it becomes bigger/smaller based on the user dragging the
mouse. I can't just
change the rect of the sprite, as I want to extract the alpha
from the
vector member when the user has stopped dragging the mouse.
I can change the size of the vector shape easily by
incrementing/decrementing each vertex (4 in a circle) but of
course it loses
it's shape because I am not adjusting the points that make up
the handles. I
would imagine that for circles, there is a simple formula for
calculating
the points of the handle based on the vertices. Does anyone
know? Is there
a simpler solution I am overlooking altogether?

I also have seen some issues working in the vector editor.
Fortunately that
is not what I am doing. Users of the program I am building
can create shapes
by clicking and dragging their mouse. Behind the scenes the
code is
adding/modifying the vertexList of a single vector shape.
This is all
working rock-solid. Previously users could create rectangles,
polygons
(including complex polygons) and freehand shapes using
vectors, but I want
to add circles.
This is all part of a multi-user game, where one user is
creating these
shapes and sending them to other users (movies) over the
internet. Sending a
small list of coodinates is much more efficient than sending
an image.
Movies on the other end can reconstruct the shapes based on
the vertexList
received. Also I have already implemented the code to handle
vectors, and
would like to avoid having to write extra code just to handle
circles drawn
in a bitmap member.
Any way I have noticed that the ratio of a vertex point to a
handle point is
consistent for circle shapes, approximately 1.786. So I wrote
a fairly
simple function that takes the desired radius as a parameter
and updates
vertex and handles appropriately. I haven't fully tested this
yet, but
initial results seem to be acceptable for my needs.
