Can't create new application

Hi guys.
We're having a problem with an application set this morning.
A new application set was created last night and so far, 2 new applications have been added to it.
This morning though, when we try to create another application (of ANY type), we get the following error:

I have already checked that neither of the existing applications in the AppSet have the journal set to "1".
We can successfully process the applications (with reassign SQL Index)
I processed all dimensions, and the only errors related to the YEAR entity not existing, but this is not used in this AppSet so far.
There are only 2 applications in this set and no data in either of them.
This does NOT happen on any other application set on the server.
The only thing that I can think of is that both of the original applications were deleted tis morning (RATE and PLANNING), which left no reporting type applications in there, since when, this error has arisen.
Is it possible that in removing the last of the reporting type applications, we could have caused an issue with the indexing?
Anyway, has anyone any ideas on how to resolve this, as it has put a stop to any development work until it is resolved.

Never mind.
Turns out that you cannot delete the pre-built applications in ApShell without either copying them or creating an alternate in their place first.
We copied the ApShell AppSet again and it worked fine until we tested deleting the Reporting type application, after which we hit the same problem.

Hi.
As I have two accounts one admin account and other standard account and last time it didn’t work in both.
So I just restored factory settings like described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3910
This fixed the problem.
Now again I can't create new folder to applications but this time it doesn’t work only in my standard account but it does work in admin account.
Previously I downloaded this program to open pdb files :http://www.loghound.com/pordible/
But it didn't work for me so I removed it to Trash. That's when I noticed that the new folder icon in applications isn't active but I can't be sure that this caused it.
I used Disc Utility to repair my macbook pro hard disk using Mac OS X Install DVD but it didn't fix the problem.
Is there any way to fix this problem without restoring factory settings again?

I think either way should work OK - it's less of a security risk to use a standard account for "everything", including web browsing, but I confess I don't myself do this. You would again have to authenticate with an admin username/password if you do download and install from the standard account.

Can't create new email account.

I can't create new emails account because when I go to Setting and click in Mail,Contacts ,calender, it goes back to home, intead of open the options. Any advice? Thanks

Double tab the home button and when the application button shows up hold the settings icon until you see a red dot in the corner and hit that.
If that dosent work then try restarting the device. Hold the lock button (top right of iPad) until slide to power off appears then hit the same button to get it back on.
To actually make an email account you have to go to the providers web page, you can't create one in settings

Shortdump when creating new Application set

Hi All,
We have a newly installed BPC system (BPC 7.0, SP 02).
We are facing issues when creating new Application Set. Although on the .Net server it shows that the creation of appset was successful, in SM37 Copy AppSet job is terminated with Shortdump "Raise_Exception, X_Message".
I can see the new appset in RSA1, however not all dimensions and applications are copied from Apshell.
I've seen SAP Note: 1420399, which says that this type of issue happens when the user does not have sufficient access. But we are facing same issue with admin user who has full access.
Any pointers in resolving this issue would be highly appreciated.

Please verify you have followed the following steps from the installation guide.
These steps are required for proper functioning of the Business Planning and Consolidation software:
1. Set the /CPMB/ namespace to changeable:
a) Go to transaction SE06 and choose System Change Option.
b) Make sure that the BPC Addon is set to Restricted Modifiability.
c) Set the /CPMB/ namespace to Modifiable.
2. Set the /B28/ namespace to changeable:
a) Go to transaction SE06 and choose System Change Option.
b) Make sure that the BPC Addon is set to Restricted Modifiability.
c) Set the /B28/ namespace to Modifiable.

What you posted is rather vague. By doesn't work do you mean the applications don't open at all or are you getting a message stating that your product needs activation? If it's product activation then that is something that Microsoft will have to assist you with. If your problem is that the applications simply won't open you may have to uninstall and reinstall Office again. This is common on the Windows platform too. Rarely when you upgrade to a new OS Office sometimes has an issue with the upgrade and won't open correctly. I would suggest merely uninstalling and reinstalling. Nine times out of ten that helps.

I would like to create new application.
I dont see Application option.
in File->new.
I see Project and etc. But not Application.
Did I miss any thing . Pls advice.

From 9.x weblogic start using workshop in form of Eclipse plugin so when we use Eclipse then application is treated as Enterprise project so we need to create Enterprise project and then open any other specific project like Dynamic webproject or EJB project simple java project etc.
Or we can also able to create direct web dynamic project or direct simple java project.

you will find document which gives more details about the creation project and different types of project.
Please follow the first Basic tutorial you will understand about the workshop completely.

I've lost my iCal calendars and can't create new ones

I've used iCal flawlessly for a long time. Suddenly, though, I noticed that I lost all my indivdual calendars in iCal. I couldn't see any calendar postings in the main calendar until I trashed my pref file from the library and relaunched. Then I would see the individual events created under my "home" calendar, yet I would not see the "home" calendar listed as an option in the left-hand view of calendars. Plus, I now can't create new calendars.
Anybody have any idea what's going on here?

Is this correct: you had multiple calendars; they disappeared from the calendar pane and their events from the main pane; you deleted ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.ical.plist; you now have a single calendar (Home) but cannot make more; you can see the events in Home?
Can you add events to Home?
Can you see as many folders in ~/Library/Application Support/iCal/Sources/ as you used to have calendars?
Double-click ~/Library/Application Support/iCal/nodes.plist. Click the black triangle beside the word Root. In the line "List Array ..." how many ordered objects are reported? Does this match your original calendar count?
What have you added/changed/modified recently? Might it have involved any fonts?

I've just scanned my logs and I've found a lot of failed connections to teamviewer but I do not have this app installed. Can you suggest me a way to stop these connections? I found tons of messages like this:

Can't create new Web Intelligence documents

Hello,
Only user Administrator can create new Web Intelligence documents on Infoview at my Installation. I 've created a new group called GROUP1. This group has Full Control acces level on folders, universes and conections like group Administrators. A user from group GROUP1 can't create new document Web Intellingence. Also, when I have joined this user to Administrators group, then this user was allowed to create a new Web Intellingence document.
Could anybody help me?

please check the rights for GROUP at application level.

[Application Insights] Fail to create new application using REST API

I'm trying to create new application in Application Insights using the REST API.
I followed the instructions on
this page, but keep getting '404 Not Found', with the following error stream:

The http method I'm using is: PUT
The request URI is:

Can you please advice what am I doing wrong?
Few things:
I tried both with existing/non-existing resource group.
I set the Content-Length header to '0' (otherwise the server returns an error the the length is required).

Try the API Version "2014-08-01" and also make sure you are sending a location of "Central US" (its the only location available right now). An example of a PowerShell call that works is below. I would also suggest checking
out the new https://resources.azure.com/ which can help you construct the REST call.

The business requirement is to limit the available entries for partners displayed when they search in quality notification. I have already created new partner functions & assigned the relevant partner types, however struggling with defining new partner types.
Would appreciate help in resolving this.

I know this customisation setting ...It allows us to create the partner functions & assign it to the partner determination procedure.
Then you can assign the procedure to the notification type.
This customisation setting does not solve the problem I have.
I'm looking for the partner type creation process which we assign to the partner function.

suppose if we modify the source code present in java card framework and then compile them to class files, converting these class files to JCA files , generating mask files from these JCA files, and using these mask files along with C code available to create new cref.exe
Is it possible to do the above steps.
