Can't Create Two DW Instances so...what do you do?

I understand you can't create two instances of Dreamweaver
(unless you have an OS that runs mult instances)

The reason for this is that I need to use DW to download
large sites (frequently) which basically renders DW useless to me
until it's done. Why not FTP the information? Because I need the
Check-In/Check-Out information for Contribute users (so I'm told).
So, does anyone have the same issue here, or is there a way
around this that I just can't think of right now???

That will not work if he is wanting to use Contribute, as
those files will
not show as being checked out to the other Contribute users.

If you simply create a pfile and startup nomount with it, then -in theory- you have an instance running ( this method is used e.g. for restoring a rman backup )
2) You can't. Database files are bound to a certain instance. What you can do is recreate an instance with e.g. a different name, using the scripts generated by a 'alter database backup controlfile to trace;' command

Can we create two POs for the same 3rd party Sales Order?

Hi MM experts,
Issue: Can we create two POs for the same 3rd party Sales Order
In Third party purchase process, first sales order created with a spl. item category and it creates the PR automatically with the Sales order material and Qty and this PR converted PO.
They got a pur.req. for sale order on same item for same delevery date. They did not get any warning msg. saying that a PO was prviously placed against this sale order.
How it is possible that we were able to place another PO? concern is that second PO was palced against SO which was already used & completed. they were able to place 2 POs for the same customer same delevery date. How it is possible?
If anyone face the same issue, please let me know if you have any answer to this questions.

It is hard for me to give you a definitive answer since you have created a customized solution.

Normally, the system will not do this. A third party PR or PO will be 'account assigned' to the Sales order. SAP standard 3rd party will not create additional purchase reqs unless there has been manual intervention. Try searching for changes in the Sales order and changes in the original purchase order. They may give you a clue.
I believe the normal Item category for third party SO is TAS (I am working from memory here, I am not in front of a system). I don't know what ZTAG does. I confess I am not an SD expert. You might also want to post your question in an SD forum.
You mention two custom applications, ZMMPLAN and ZSTPMP. These somehow have functionality that is used to help you convert your PRs to POs. If I were in your position, I believe I would also look at these applications for clues to how they might be contributing to your problem. And please don't send me details about these apps. I will not comment on custom code in this forum.

Oracle RAC scales how? By adding more servers (RAC cluster nodes) to the single RAC database.
What do you want to do? Add more databases to a single server.
How does that make sense ito performance, scalability, redundancy, availability, management and so on?
Also consider that a SQL-Server/mySQL database in the Oracle context is a schema. An Oracle schema can be a logical database. Fully self-contained. Fully separated from other logical databases in that physical database. A second or third or one hundredth logical database in Oracle means a second or third or one hundredth new database schema. Not instance. Not physical database.

I am among this community since I invested much into this corporation. I rather go to the consumers just to discuss an idea I would like for this corporation to achieve. Can I create two entity manager factoris in one app?

I need to develop two projects, both need JPA access to same data source.
One is an web project, the other is java se project. And web project needs to the some methods inside java se project.
I created two separate JPA set(persistence.xml and entity classes). Both project can run separately however, if I call the methods inside java se project from the web project.
entity manager inside that project won't be created successfully, says error:
oracle.toplink.essentials.exceptions.DatabaseException Internal Exception: java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found
I am very confident that mysql driver lib has been added for both projects.
Does anyone know what is wrong here? Thanks!

Yes. Reduce the number of FDM applications you are creating. You can have multiple target system adapters in a single FDM application (i.e. a single database only required). There is no need to create a new application for each target system.

You can create many filters for one cube. I usually associate one group per filter and a user can have one or more groups assigned to them. Can't remember what happens when a user has access to conflicting filters (i.e. the order of preference). It is in the DBAG I am sure though.

Of course you can do this but only worrysome thing will business users will be confused between the Plant and product line business segment.
You must have Product Line (for e.g. segment 1000) is manufacture at plant 1000 (segment 2000), so when any expense occur in Plant 1000 for Product Line 1000 which segment should be used???
So give precedence to segment whichever you want......and costantly monitor entries being posted to thses segment...

I want to create two TOCs, each containing different styles.
The first is a regular TOC. I have this already. No worries. It contains 3 styles.
The second I want to appear directly after the TOC and be a list of Figures. All my figures are captioned using a style I created, 'caption'.
