Can't deactivate my serial number on other computers

Hi,
I currently have my serial number for Photoshop Elements registered on two other computers, both of which have been taken to be destroyed as I now have a new laptop. Please can someone tell me how on earth I can use my software on my new laptop as it keeps saying the serial number is registered to the other two computers.

You will need to activate your product using the phone method. When you enter the serial number, you should also have an option to activate using the phone method. Select this option and the toll-free number of your nearest Adobe Office will appear on your screen. Use it and explain your situation to the telephonist and they will help you out.
Make sure the system is off-line when you enter the serial number otherwise it might just try to connect automatically to adobe servers for verification purposes.
Have ready your e-mail address and serial number just in case they ask you again.

How can I deactivate the serial number / license for Lightroom 4 so I can sell the software on?

I have recently started a Creative Cloud subscription and as a result have no use for (boxed) copies of Lightroom 4 and Elements 11. I would like to deactiavte / renew the serial numbers so I can sell them on second hand to someone who can make use of them.
As I didn't 'upgrade' I don't see any issue with doing this. Please could someone assist with how I remove these two software registrations from my account.

I read the agreement too quickly. It first says:
YOU MAY NOT RENT, LEASE, SELL, SUBLICENSE, ASSIGN OR TRANSFER YOUR RIGHTS IN THE SOFTWARE, OR AUTHORIZE ANY PORTION OF THE SOFTWARE TO BE COPIED ONTO ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL OR LEGAL ENTITY'S COMPUTER EXCEPT AS MAY BE PERMITTED HEREIN
But then it goes on to say:
You may, however, transfer all your rights to use the Software to another individual or legal entity provided that: (a) you also transfer this agreement, (ii) the serial number(s), the Software and all other software or hardware bundled, packaged or pre-installed with the Software, including all copies, upgrades, updates and prior versions, and (iii) all copies of font software converted into other formats to such individual or entity; (b) you retain no upgrades, updates or copies, including backups and copies stored on a computer; and (c) the receiving party accepts the terms and conditions of this agreement and any other terms and conditions under which you purchased a valid license to the Software. Launch iTunes on your computer.
Hold down your Control key, then on the menu bar in iTunes click iTunes>About iTunes (Mac) or Help>About iTunes (PC).
Any previously synced devices will scroll in a pop-up window; press the space bar to stop scrolling so you can write down the serial number.

I have a version of Photoshop elements that has been uninstalled and is no longer available to reinstall. When I uninstalled from an old computer, I failed to deactivate the serial number. How can I do that without reinstalling?

Wow, I tried the "chat" option and waited for 30 minutes....no one ever helped.....so I called a customer service number for the creative club option and they promised to put me though to someone who could deactivate my product.....waited another 30 minutes on hold. So then I called the sales department and wow, just as I thought......someone took my call right away. (Please note that the computer that the software I am trying to deactivate has been reformatted and I am unable to deactivate in that manner). I asked the poor sales rep, why on earth would I spend hundreds of dollars for new software when the only people who you can get to help you are the sales people. I think I will stick with free open source applications........this is so not worth it......

You would have to deactivate that software from your older machine first.

Yes, you can use the same serial number. You would need to deactivate the old computers (Editor>Help>Deactivate) if possible, since you are only allowed two activated installations at once, but see this FAQ for more about when you can't do that:
