Can't delete a bar/field

OK, I'm using the iDVD 5.0 theme "Full Frame '05." I have a movie in the background, with sound, and two text buttons to access submenus. The problem is, there is a bar in the upper-right corner of the screen, where iDVD assumes I want to place some text, but I don't want it. By default, the text in this area is "Full Frame 1." I can delete the text, but I can't seem to delete the bar. Curiously, I somehow managed to delete it from this project in the past when I was using iDVD 5 (can't remember how), but when I upgraded to iDVD 6, the bar mysteriously reappeared, and now I can't get rid of it. It serves no purpose and looks terribly unprofessional (like all iDVD themes). Is there any way I can get rid of it?

P.S. By the way, can anyone tell me why the makers of iDVD feel it is neccessary to force us all to use their stupid "themes?" Why can't they just include a simple blank canvas theme, with no borders, bars, or effects, and let us put whatever we want on it, without all the clutter?

From your Safari menu bar top of your screen click View > Customize Toolbar
Drag up the default toolbar or individual objects.

I can not delete bookmarks from the bar as I am spammed with many bookmarks.

On my bookmark bar I have multiple instances of "Webmail Notifier" and they are in my bookmark list in many places. I am unable to delete them at all. How can I fix this issue?

Also, I have noticed that every once in awhile you can not close tabs you've opened, either by pushing on the X button and/or clicking on the mouse to close it. Although closing the window and opening it again (without closing the Firefox application) seemed to rectify the problem in the short term, it's becoming quite annoying.

First, download the add-on SQManager. This should be included with FireFox, it is really good.
Look for the file '''moz_hosts''' in the folder '''places.sqlite'''.
Don't delete the file, just delete the information in the file. My file has over 3600 websites, which go back years!! I did not know they were there, but I was frustrated about not being able to get rid of them. They popped up every time I used the address bar. Clearing my history would not get rid of them.
This is where they are stored!! I found that by deleting the pesky web site from '''moz_hosts''', it does not appear in my address bar anymore!!!
I think that if I just delete all the websites in moz_hosts....

As long as you don't delete the file, just empty it, FireFox won't know the difference. It will just keep adding websites to it until you empty it again.
Why running "clear recent history" doesn't do this, I don't know. You are doing manually what "clear recent history" is not doing.

You definitely can.
To remove your payment information open iTunes and go into your account. An easy way to access your account is from quick links on the store home page. After you login there will be a payment type listed with an edit button next to it. Click edit then select none under card type (next to visa, mastercard, etc).
Afterwards at the bottom of the page select done, then your card will no longer be on file. It will prompt you for a card next time you try to download something that isn't free.

I'm not sure I understand why you say "I want the excel file storing part outside the case structure".
From the rest of your description, it sounds like you want to write to file only if something is true. That means that you put the write to file function inside the TRUE case.
You can pass the file refnum into the case and back out again, if you need to. Pass it straight thru in the FALSE case, and thru the WRITE FILE function in the TRUE case.

If you hold the command key down (the one with the ⌘ on it) and hit the + key you can make the fonts larger. Might help out, I know as I've gotten up there in years I've had to use it more and more
In the mean time while twtwtw mulls this over, can you supply any further information? Did the system crash or didi anything change before you started having the problem? Are you really running 10.5.8 as your profile says?

Can not delete Fox news icon from Safari Favorites Bar, keeps coming back

I can not delete "Fox news" icon from Safari Favorites Bar. Dogpile Search engine also. Both keep coming back with icons upon new opening of Safari.
I have removed these icons from the Book Mark files and Favorites Bar menu and any reference in the LIbrary and replaced them with less spammy evercookie news and search engines 3 times to no avail. I just upgraded Safari (April 2014) and it made no difference. These sites represent the paradigm I
no longer am putting energy into nor want which is why I have rid these increasing more corrupted and cookie agressive sites. But now.....

I did a restore to factory restore to the phone with upgrade to newest operating system, my was up to date until OS 7 as I heard there were problems. Now it has OS 7.

Entries in the location bar drop down list with a yellow (blue on Mac) star at the right end are bookmarks. 
You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar. 
This will open the "Edit This Bookmark" dialog and you can click the Remove button to remove the bookmark if you want to remove such a bookmarked entry.
