Can't delete a web page icon from my app screen

I visited the site imdb.com and now there is a little imdb icon on one of my pages
and I just really want it off of there. Anyone know what I can do?

Tap and hold the icon until it begins to wriggle. Tap the white X at the top left corner. Tap the home button to exit edit mode.

You can look your computer for the .muse file of your site and delete it. Once you have deleted it, try to open it from Muse. You will get a pop up, which says the file/site is missing, would you like to remove it from the list. Click yes and it will be gone.

Can you delete previous web pages as you can with the iPhone?

I notice that the iPad retains previous web pages and that I am not able to delete them as I can on the iPhone. Do these pages automatically delete themselves?

On the lock screen i see the camara icon, how can i take it off from the lock screen?

It cannot be removed from the locked screen. To open the camera, if you are using iOS 5.1, swipe the camera icon upwards.

You can't delete it. You probably moved it into a folder or to another screen. If you recently updated your software, the Contacts app is now located in a Utilities folder on your first home screen.
If you still can't find it, you can reset your home screen layout (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout). This will reset all the original apps to their original positios and your purchased apps will follow in alphabetical order.

How can I delete my credit card info from the apps store?

Ever since I put my credit card info into the system it won't let me download anything even if it's free. It keeps saying to verify card info and when I do it ask for the card security number but when I put it in then it says it's not right. I don't know what else to do besides delete the card info but I'm not sure how to do that. I have been downloading free stuff with no problem until last Sunday I put my card info in to buy something and it let me make my purchase with no problem and now I'm trying to download free stuff and it keeps wanting me to verify my credit card info and telling me it's wrong info. I don't mind having my card info on there but now I can't download anything and it's frustrating. All it ask for is the card security number and when I put it in it says it's invalid. What have you tried to get the app to finish downloading e.g. have you tried logging out and back into your account on your phone, disconnecting and reconnecting to your network, soft-reset of your phone (press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, ignore the red slider, after which the Apple logo should appear and it should reboot) ?
You could also try downloading the update on your computer's iTunes and see if you can sync it over to your phone (or delete the app its Apps tab when connected to your computer's iTunes and sync the new version - deleting the app will delete its contents).

Help deleting saved web pages

        I am new to dreamweaver cs5 and I am working from a book Adobe Dreamweaver Classroom in a Book.
       Being new to Dreamweaver and just having fun I have created and saved 4 basic web pages that are appearing in the dreamweaver Welcome screen in the Open a Recent Item drop down list. Being new to this trial and error I would like to delete them and start fresh. Searching for hours on line and in dreamweaver's help section I can't find what I am looking for. The book comes with a dvd with instructional lessons I have saved on to c drive where I do my work and save back on to c drive. Please, is there a way to delete these web pages. Thank you Jon.

My Firefox 6.02 bookmarks toolbar shows the same two bookmarks repeatedly (3 times and two times) so there is no space for the favourite bookmarks I had originally. How can I delete the repeated bookmarks icons in the toolbar? I tried to drag them to trash, but without success. I could not do it from view/ toolbars/customize either.

How can we delete the concurrent node entry from the FND_NODES table without running Autoconfig.
Currently we are having 3 nodes RAC and we are deciding to remove one node from the RAC and all 3 nodes are registered as concurrent node with application but concurrent manager is running only on one node.
Lot of the custom configuration we did it at application web tire level. If we run the Autoconfig at that time we need to redo those changes again that we are trying to avoid.

we are trying to avoid to run FND_CLONE.setup_clean because it will delete all the nodes entries from the FND_NODES.If those entries are invalid then they should be deleted.
Running AutoConfig after purging the table will populate it with the correct entries.
In order to populate the nodes entries again we need to run autoconfig and it will change the server id in fnd_nodes and then we need to redo the ADI client configuration on users PC and redo all the changes that we made in jserv and webserver.For ADI Clients, you should use the correct server ids which will be populated in the table for you once you run AutoConfig.
For jserv configuration, you can refer to (Customizing an AutoConfig Environment [ID 270519.1]) to make the preserve all your custom setup/configuration after running AutoConfig.
If there any custom script to delete only one node from the fnd_node so that we don't need to run autoconfig after that, then I really appreciate.No.

Can't export a web page

I've just upgradded to iLife '08. When I try to save a web page the same as I had with the previous version of iPhoto, it doesn't work. The following steps are taken:
Highlight eight photos in a folder
Select File>Export
In the Export Photos window, select Web Page tab
Make other selections on the page and click Export
Then I've tried various file destination folders and the Desktop
When I click OK, an Exporting sub-window appears for a moment, then it changes to say
Unable to generate web page and only gives me the option to Cancel
It gives me no clues as to why it is unable to generate a web page. It has created the folders for the Images, Pages and Thumbnails but there isn't anything in those folders. I believe this is the same steps I used many times with iPhoto '06 to create a web pages.
Does anyone have an idea on how to save web pages with the new iPhoto? How can I revert back to the old version of iPhoto?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Try the following:download and run BatChmod on the iPhoto Library folder with the settings shown here, putting your administrator login name, long or short, in the owner and group sections. You can either type in the path to the folder or just drag the folder into that field. See if this will help.
Next, log into another account or boot into Safe Mode and see if you can export to a web page. If so then there's something amiss with your account. If not, then a reinstall of iPhoto seems appropriate.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. I found that Firefox/XPS had deleted all printer driver setups except for the XPS connection. I had to reinstall my printer connection in order to have that selection present in the printer dialogue box.

Just read that the default memory storage on FF is set to 5 mbs. You can up that by clicking on tools, advanced and overriding the default and set it to 50 mbs (if you use lots of tabs) or 10 mbs (if you use just a few).
I open a blank tab and clear the cache periodically, while I am working. I can have several tabs open and watch videos on Youtube, by doing this. Have you cleared your cache?
Since I have an older computer, I've also used CCleaner for years. I use it often, but always before signing off. You can get it free...search for CCleaner, download from Pirifoam free. I didn't change any of the settings and it clears crap left behind from uninstalling programs, clears all browsers at once of: cookies, history, passwords, etc. I love it!
I had freezing, before using the "open blank tab, clear the cache" thing. Now I have no problems. Plus, as I said...you can change the default memory usage for FF and that should help too.

Following upgrade to 34.05, can no longer access web pages of the SAN management interface, the airco system, the vSphere Web Client, etc. All still work in Chrome.
The airco system gives an error:
Firefox cannot guarantee the safety of your data on 10.32.16.50 because it uses SSLv3, a broken security protocol.
Advanced info: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap
The SAN management interface and vSphere Web Clients display an empty page. Not sure whether these also have problems due to SSLv3.
I understand you wanting to be cautious, but I seriously doubt I need to face an attack from our SAN. Please, at least give us an option to connect regardless.

hello, ssl 3.0 is disabled in firefox versions 34 & upwards by default - if you want to re-enable it you can do that like this which will make you vulnerable to the recently published poodle attack though:
