Can't delete alternate addresses

We have IMS 5.2 patch 1 ( bulit Aug 19 2002 ), libimta.so 5.2 patch 1 and SunOS 5.9 117171-17 sun4u
When we add an alternate address to account ( using netscape console 4.2 ) everything is OK, we can send message to this address.
But after deleted this alternate address is still function. ( imsimts test -rewrite -debug finds this address in system alias database ).
How we can remove alternate addresess ?

I have 2 hosted domains. For example domain1 and domain2.
I have an account tom@domain1 and alias tom@domain2
When I used dirsync the system found alias in system database, and I could use both address in one account :
tom@domain1 and alias tom@domain2
With direct LDAP mode imsimta test -rewrite returns 5.1.1 unknown or illegal alias when i try address tom@domain2
What i sholud do with it ?
Maybe i must add my second domain to o=internet in directory structure.

How can I delete my address book data

Running Lion. I've read in several post that the data file is in home folder/library/application support/AddressBook.
To test this I set up a temporary user account, added a few contacts to the address book, quit the application, deleted the entire AddressBook folder and contents in home folder/library/application support/AddressBook, re-launched Address Book and the new contacts I just created are still there.
I quit address book, deleted this same folder and contents again, this time also deleted all address book preference files in library/preferences, re-launched address book and the new contacts are still there.
Anyone know where the data file is really kept? In a brand new user account there aren't many files in home folder/library so it shouldn't be too hard to find but I sure can't seem to.
Any help would be appreciated.
PS. For those who want to know "why". I believe my daughter's Mac has a corrupt address book data file so I want to start over "fresh" but can't seem to locate where the true data file is.

This was just a possible but the sync part of it really isn't possible in this case. In setting up a new temporary account on my Mac it would be an account without an iCloud or MobilMe account so there would be no syncing involved.
Address Book data for each user's account will be stored only within that users account. The fake contacts I've created in the temporary user account certainly don't show up in any other account.
Your behaviour "if I delete the files mentioned, there is absolutely nothing left." is exactly what I would expect. Just can't figure out (yet) what's going on, on my Mac because this expected behaviour is not happening.

Can't delete email address from Mail

I keep sending emails to the wrong address as when I start typing a name Mail seems to bring up a quite random address for the recipient if there are several.
Not only does it not default to the last address received from/sent to but it will enter an old address that has been deleted from Address Book.
I can still see the deleted address in Mail when I click on the address button [tho it is well deleted in Address Book] and the only option in Mail seems to be to delete the whole card.
Any suggestions most welcome,

Have you checked Mail>Window>Previous Recipients for the old address? If not, attempt to "Remove From List" at that location and let us know what happens.

Can't delete cards address book, multiple calendar entries

So far, it's been wonderful to have my information sync across three computers, with two exceptions:
1. I can't delete an old contact in icloud. If I delete on one computer, it pops right back up. I've tried logging onto the icloud site itself, but I can't find a way to delete cards online, just modify the cards a bit.
2. My calendar was beautifully set up on one computer, and when I turned on icloud on that computer (thinking it would override the calendars on the other two computers), it added multiple entries for every birthday, and some appointments.
Help!

Can you try this.
In all contacts click the first card, scroll down to the last entry and shift click it.
From the Edit menu select "Delete Cards".
If it works you will lose all cards, so be careful.

How can I delete old addresses from the automatic fill?

I set up a new account on a G4 PowerMac with 10.3.9 installed. This computer was being used previously by one of my other users. My question is: whenever the new user wants to send a new message and she types in the address she needs to use, it is set to automatically fill the address. All of the old user's addresses still appear as choices. How do I delete all the old addresses? I've already deleted all the old addresses from the address book. But they still appear in the automatic fill. Is there a cache somewhere to empty?

Can I delete email addresses that pop up when I type a letter in the address bar.

my mail that I have linked to the mail app is yahoo and everytime I enter a letter into the to section it brings up other emails so I dont need to write it all out. For example: Ill type "M'" so I can email my brother and it will bring his up but then it will show other peoples email that I can click on, either to people Ive contacted once or people that I hardly ever talk to. How can I get rid of this without restting my touch?

There is a way. Go to Contacts on your iPod and delete the ones that start with "M" and see if that works. Delete them from your Yahoo account, then sync with iTunes. Hope this works.

Can't delete ISP address

I dropped one ISP and went to another. I was able to delete the old account out of my preferences. But, still when I want to send a new message it appears as an account choice. This is a problem because it is the default if I don't watch mail goes out from this account. How can I get rid of this choice.

One other thing you could try:
I think that the only place that all the Mail account information is stored is in your home directory's ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist file. This file might conceivably be corrupted somewhow.
You could try writing down on paper all the account and setup information in your Mail Preferences (that you want to retain), quit Mail, temporarily move that plist file to your desktop, restart Mail, and you will be guided back through account setup again.
For safety, make a copy of your entire ~/Library/Mail onto your desktop, too. Select the copies of the directory and plist file now residing on your desktop, and in the Finder under File on the menubar, choose "Make Archive". Now you can delete the copies on your desktop, ensuring that they are most definitely out of the picture, because you have a backup zipfile of them.
Assuming that rebuilding your accounts from scratch was successful, and the rogue reappearing account is no more, then you could throw away the backup zip file on your desktop, too.
If anything bad happens, restore the files in the zip archive to their original source location.

Press and hold over the text you want to cut. After around 2 seconds a magnifying glass appears.
Click select and some text will be highlighted in blue.
Drag the blue bars at the beginning and end of the selection to include all the text you want to remove.

Delete/Reset Address Bar History

How can I delete the address bar's history. In-other-words when I type an address in how can I reset it so that when I begin to type it doesn't automatically attempt to finish an address for me? Like when I type "www.app" it doesn't attempt to finish it with "www.apple.com"?

If you want to eliminate autofill entries you must Reset Safari: Apple provide a quick way to empty the cache, clear cookies, erase history and reset autofill information. This can often provide a quick fix for improving performance. The disadvantage is that you will need to re-enter log in information on sites that had previously stored data in cookies.Any URL information from your Bookmarks will remain valid and will show up in autofill.
You should also Empty the Cache.

You can't delete the second(or any) Apple ID without contacting Apple. If desired, ask them.

You can't do this, and you can't transfer purchases between accounts. There is no conflict about using one ID for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match (the ID you've been using for iTunes) and using the other ID for iCloud.

Although your profile says you're running iOS 5.1.1 it sounds like you're running iOS 7 (otherwise you would not need your password to delete the old account). Assuming that's true, and your iCloud ID has changed but you need to delete the old account in order to change to your new one, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
