Can't delete default TOC

I created a new RH project and it created a default TOC. Then I created a new TOC and I can't delete the default one and that's the one that keeps displaying. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Yes that helped. Thanks.
Guess it's time to upgrade.... again

RoboHelp HTML Can't delete default TOC
Hi again
Arrrgh! I'm so sorry! Silly me. I'm mixing up my RoboHelp versions.
I just checked my version 7 and it doesn't seem to offer any ability to
nominate a different TOC as the default. RoboHelp 8 does.
Again I apologize.
When you edit the layout properties, you are given the option of choosing
the TOC to use with the layout. Does this help?

  • Can't delete default ringtones :(

I can't delete default ringtone on my iphone5 even on my ipad mini. i purchased it by itunes

In the iPhone Settings icon you'll find a way to tell it what ringtone to use.  So you can tell your phone to use another one without actually deleting it.
You delete it in iTunes.  You'll find it shows up in a separate pane as 'Ringtones'.

  • How can I delete default hotkeys?

So here is my situation: In 10.5 I was able to use safari with 1Password 3 very nicely. I used the key stroke "command" + "/" to fill things in and it was great. When I upgraded to 10.6, however, safari 64 added a default hotkey for "show status bar". (Why? You got my, I have no idea why anyone would need a hotkey for that)
Anyway, is there a way to delete/override/replace default hotkeys so other application (such as 1P) can access those keystrokes?

System Preferences->Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts->add it for iPassword. BTW, why? Because people wanted the option, whether or not you used it for something else.

  • Deleting DEFAULT clause

    Hi,
How can I delete DEFAULT clause from column definitions without dropping
    column itself?
    After:
    CREATE TABLE my_table (my_column DATE DEFAULT SYSDATE);
all worked fine. Now I don't need in this DEFAULT clause.
    So I tried
    ALTER TABLE my_table MODIFY (my_column);
    but it had no effect.
    I can do
    ALTER TABLE my_table MODIFY (my_column DEFAULT NULL);
and it works, but how to delete "empty" DEFAULT clause completely?
    Thank for your help.

    Hi user594985,
Do you want your own custom login page or are you trying to have no login requirement and just go straight to a home page for the app of some sorts?
If it is the former then by all means just edit your existing login page (101 by default) or create your own from scratch and define it as your login page. To do this just edit your application attibutes to point to this new page on login, logout and session timeout etc...
    Cheers,
    Mike

  • Can't delete calendar default reminder

I am having trouble with the google calendar since upgrading to lollipop. In settings I can change the default reminder to none, but every time I put a new entry in there's always a reminder time that I can't delete. I don't need a reminder for all my entries...

This happens only with Google Calenar and not the default Xperia Calendar?

  • IPhone default weather app : I can't delete cities.

iPhone default weather app : I can't delete cities.
I'm using iPhone 4S with latest updates of iOS.
In the default weahter app, I added several cities (Detroit, Seoul, Shanghai, etc) for the weather conditions but recently, I changed my mind that I need only the weather in my local city wherever I am.
So I decided to delete the cities I already registered, but checking after several hours after delete, the cities I deleted were shown up again automatically, I don't know why.
This is very annoying and this kind of weather app should work flawlessly because it's very simple.
I don't see iCloud backup this cities in the weather app, so I don't think this is synced, and if I delete cities, that is locally affected for my iPhone only, not other iPhone or iPad I have.
One potential problem I think is.. I found that the default weather app uses yahoo's weather service. When I clicked the trademark on the app, it directed me to Yahoo Korea site (yes, I live in South Korea), but Yahoo Korea's service discontinued 12/31/2012. Maybe, this is the issue, Yahoo Korea's service discontinue is causing this issue?

@LexSchellings I appreciate your advice on how to delete a city.  However if you read the thread that is not the problem.  We all know how to delete cities.  In fact most days I go into the weather app and delete cities I don't want.  The next day I come back and they have re-appeared.  This happens on my iphone (my Apple ID) but if I borrow my wife's iphone and her Apple ID (both phones are on IOS7) I can remove cities from her weather app
    This proves to me
    * That I know how to delete cities
    * That my finger is not the problem since it seems to be compatible with iPhones in a pink case
    * That there is a bug in the weather app [shock!]
This has been written about across a number of threads in Apple communities over IOS6 and IOS7.  Apple just ignore us.  I used to be a developer and the intermittent, doesn't happen all the time bugs are really irritating.  The best strategy as a development team is to find a device that does not cause the problem, "prove" it is fixed and move on.  That seems the be the current Apple strategy.
My real guess is that somewhere there is a record of the cities I want to see (perhaps created on an old phone or an old iPOD touch that shares the same apple ID) - when I delete a city, it stays away for a while but then my local app refers to this reference list and reinstates cities - not sure if that makes sense. (BTW I have gone back to my current iPod and tried deleting cities there but that doesn't help)

  • When I downloaded Firefox - DV06 browser default also downloaded. How can I delete this default

    How can I delete DV06.....

hello, this sounds like you did download firefox from a bogus site which bundles the browser with ad&malware. please only download firefox from the official location at getfirefox.com!
    * go into the windows control panel/programs section, sort it by install-date and remove all entries that were installed around the time you added the presumably adware-bundled firefox. also have a look for other unwanted toolbars...
    * run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].
    * go to getfirefox.com and download a fresh installer for firefox. after installation go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' and see if there are any toolbars listed - if so, [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems|reset the browser]].

  • Can't delete file from LR, requires password from finder Mac OS

I have an older Powermac running OSX 10.5.8. I store all of my images under the same folder on the same external hard drive. For some reason, and this has never happened before, has always functioned normally before this, I don't know why, images cannot be deleted and moved to the trash in LR. From the finder level, those files each require I type in my password (Finder requires that you type in your password.) This has never happened before, I've tried a shut down and cold re-boot but the behavior persists. Images are not locked and everything looks normal but not behaving normal. I realize this is not a Lightroom problem, but I need to delete from Lightroom because it is where I can review the images best while choosing which ones can be deleted. Anyone seen this Mac behavior before? Any fix you know of?
    Thanks,
    Ken

Sound's like the files don't have the correct permissions. Since they're on an external drive, you could just select the drive's icon, bring up the info window (Cmd+i) and tick the checkbox "Ignore ownership on this volume".
I do that with all my additional internal/external drives by default. It's usually no problem unless you need to prevent other users from accessing the files.

  • Delete Dialogue not appearing... can't delete songs from hard-drive

After downloading ver 7.0.2 I can't delete songs from my hard-drive by deleting them in iTunes.
There's supposed to be a dialogue(sp?) box that shows up when you delete a song in the main library (not in playlists), that asks you if you want to permanantly delete a file (song, movie, etc), or if you only want to delete it from the iTunes list.
It's not showing up for me, so I have to seek out the folder and delete the song manually in Windows.
I'd get this problem occasionaly in the older versions, but usually a restart of the program, or in worse cases, rebooting the computer would solve the problem, but not this time.
I've tried re-installing the program, but no luck.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

I tried the following fix, and it didn't work..
Is anyone else having this problem after upgrading to 7.0.2?
I'm sure I didn't check the box in the delete dialog that says "do not show this again"
I've also tried hitting the shift key when deleting.. still no luck.
    HELP!!
    Resetting the iTunes Preference Files:
    -- Quit iTunes
    -- Delete C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes.pref
    -- Delete C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple Computer Inc\iTunes.pref
You may need to enable 'Show Hidden Files/Folders' in Windows Explorer==>Tools menu==>Folder Options==>’View’ tab before you can see the Application Data & Local Settings folders.
This will force iTunes to run the setup assistance the next time you open it. You'll have to go back and re-set any preferences you want changed from the iTunes default. When you restart iTunes, it will perform its initial startup process. Do not let iTunes search for your music files. The old library is still there and iTunes will see it after it gets past the initial dialog screens.

  • I have a Bootcamp partition on  my Imac with Mavericks which I can't delete because the Partition Layout is greyed out and is stuck on 'Current'. What can I do?

I have a Bootcamp partition on my Imac with Mavericks which I can't delete because the Partition Layout in Disk Utility is greyed out and is stuck on 'Current'. What can I do? I was trying to install Windows 8.1 but apparently, this is not yet possible.
I was originally able to restore to my original Mac OSX partition using Boot Camp Assistant but then after entering Disk Utility and re-RAIDing the default RAID 1 to RAID 0 in the BootCamp partition (I suspect this is the cause of the problem but why was it defaulted to RAID 1 in the first place?!!!!), forever afterwards, I couldn't restore the single OSX partition.
Whenever I used BootCamp Assistant my choice to 'Install or remove Windows 7 or later version' was greyed out. Finally I went to Disk Utility to repartition but the Macintosh HD and BootCamp disk partition functions were also greyed out (even if I started up from Recovery mode holding down option, command and 'R' and choosing Disk Utility). BootCamp Assistant gives the error message 'The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition' with additional small script 'The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows', and DU gives the error message 'The full size of the Fusion drive is not available for repartitioning'.
What can I do to fix this problem? How can I make the Partition Layout button active in DU so I can change the partition to all OSX? I'm prepared to wipe off all my data etc to repartition and have backed up all to disk using Time Machine.

My problem is fixed now, thank you. It was caused by my changing the Boot Camp partition's 'RAID1' to 'RAID0'. If I hadn't done that, Boot Camp would still have been able to 'restore' back to the one partition. It was fixed with the help of Applecare by using a terminal and typing a command to erase the IP of the Macintosh disk (not the volume) as well as the IP of the Bootcamp partition (if I remember correctly), but then I had to restore the OS and all my applications and data etc which I had previously backed up using Time Machine. I haven't taken note of the exact command terminology used. It would be wise to speak to Applecare about this if possible.
Two words of warning, 1. According to the cause of this problem, it might be wise, after reinstalling the ops system to reinstall all extra applications one by one, manually, in case a similar problem arises again. Then manually copy back all data. Or the Mac user could use the Time Machine backup and then uninstall all the added apps then re-install them one by one manually. 2. Beware as after all this the user might not have the 'Recovery partition'. There is a small recovery partition (a few 100 Mb is size) which comes with all later Macs. After all this is done this tiny partition might not be there anymore and the user might have to re-install Mavericks again to get it back, or just install the upcoming update of Mavericks due in a month or so.

  • How can I delete phantom User ID's in quota list?

When I go to the Quotas tab in Server Admin I notice that there are about 40 User ID's (1631, 1632, etc.) listed along with the 150 user names on our Xserve. These User ID's correspond to user accounts that I deleted last year or at the beginning of this school year. They are still listed as having their assigned quotas. However, the accounts do not show up in WorkGroup Manager.
Does anyone know why these accounts are still hanging around after I deleted the users in WGM, and how I can permanently delete them?
This is on a G5 Xserve running Mac OS X Server 10.4.10.
    Thanks,
    Matt

    Hi Matt,
After doing some research on the internet I managed to find a solution to the problem. Try executing 'quotacheck -a' from the command line.
Quotacheck validates the file storage data with the quota information used to report quota information. There's some very good information at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/aix/library/au-satdiskmon.html
They also suggest running this automatically using cron -- once a day should be fine.
Quotacheck description taken from the man pages:
+Quotacheck examines each filesystem, builds a table of current disk+
+usage, and compares this table against that recorded in the disk quota+
+file for the filesystem. If any inconsistencies are detected, both the+
+quota file and the current system copy of the incorrect quotas are+
+updated (the latter only occurs if an active filesystem is checked). By+
+default both user and group quotas are checked.+

  • How can I delete the files .DS_store in Mac OS Yosemite?

How can I delete the files .DS_store in Mac OS Yosemite?

The .DS_Store file is normal. It holds certain settings related to the folder it is found in. Removing these files is futile, as they will come back, as you have observed.
If you are seeing them on your Mac, that means you have changed settings so that your Mac is showing invisible files in the Finder. To reverse that, run the following command in the Terminal:
    defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles NO
This will hide them, and any other invisible files, from view.
If you are seeing them on a Windows machine, just ignore them. They're not doing any harm.
If you found a Terminal command that is supposed to stop them from being created, I would be extremely skeptical as to the wisdom of running it.
