Can't delete Nokia Music or repair it in Windows V...

I downloaded all the PC Suite etc. for my Nokia 5800 and twice tried to apply music to my phone, but both times I got the error message that the application was unable to proceed and to "Repair" it in the control panel, which I did.  When it came to me trying to delete it, it wouldn't let me saying that another version was already running.  Is there any other way I can transfer music i.e. drag and drop within the PC Suite or do I have to use the Music Manager as its now getting on my nerves!

Connect phone in USB/Mass Storage mode .
Navigate to Sounds folder on memory card . Copy and paste music required .
I have 1.6 gb mp3s via this method .Similiar method  to put Videos in  Videos folder .
Exact location of music video etc dependant on phone model .

Can I delete a music file directly from iPhone?

    Not possible.
Either unselect it during what it syncs, or manually manage > delete song.

    Hi dq2dq2,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
It's always a good idea to first back up your iPhone before making an major changes.
If you have iTunes Match, you have access to all of the music you delete from your device.
The links below will provide additional information.

To remove all of the music on your iPhone, tap Settings > General > Usage >
Tap on Music, tap Edit in the top right corner, tap on the red circle with the minus sign to the left of All Music, tap the red Delete button, tap Done.

  • Can I delete my music on my Macbook air now that I have time machine set up?

I cannot see the music files on the time machine.  Can I delete my music on my Macbook air now that I have time machine set up to an external hard drive?

The Time Capsule is for your Time Machine backups, not "everyday" files. .
If you delete the music files on your MacBook Air.....there are a number of negative things that can occur.
    1) The only copy of your music will be on the Time Capsule. When....not if....the Time Capsule has a problem, you will lose your music files, since you have no backup for them. In other words, you always need at least two copies of your important files on two separate drives.
    2) Time Machine backs up the changes that occur on your MacBook Air. If you delete the music files from the MacBook Air, at some point Time Machine will also delete them from the Time Capsule.....and there is no way to know when this might occur.
A better plan to consider might be to add a USB or FireWire drive and connect it directly to your MacBook Air. Move the music files over to that drive.
Then, Time Machine will back up both your MacBook Air and the attached hard drive. So, you have an "original" copy of your data on one drive and a backup copy of the same data on the Time Capsule.  That would be a minimum backup plan.

  • Can't find Nokia Music on Lumia 800

I can't find Nokia Music in the installed applications. I have gone into Marketplace to try and find but can't see it anywhere. Searching for nokia corporation not helping.
I'm form Denmark and my Lumia 800 is unlocked.

    Hi spaceman2k1,
Welcome to the forums and thanks for posting!
Unless it is not available for your region yet, you can check with your local Nokia Care, Nokia Music should indeed be available in the Nokia Collection on Marketplace.
If the application is not available there I would suggest that you reset the Lumia through Settings>about>reset your phone.
Before you reset make sure your contacts and calendar are synced with your LiveID. You can sync mediafiles with Zune.
After the reset make sure you enter your LiveID and Nokia Account when asked and download the app Reinstaller from marketplace which will get all your previously downloaded apps back to the phone.
You should be able to download Nokia Music now.
Let me know how you get on,
    Kosh

  • When I plug in my ipod Nano i syncs to itunes but I can't get the music from my Library in Windows Media Player???

How can I get my music from my Library in Windows Media Player to sync to my iPod Nana?

You can't sync an iPod using Windows Media Player.  You need to add the songs to your iTunes library first, and then sync those songs to the iPod.
This document provides more information (Add to Library section)
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1347
NOTE:  The WMA files (the file type used by Window Media Player) need to be unprotected (no DRM).  They are converted to a format supported by iTunes while adding to the iTunes library.  This WMA conversion feature only works in the Windows version of iTunes (Mac users cannot do it).
I believe you can drag and drop the WMA files, or the folder containing the WMA files, onto the iTunes window.  The original WMA files are not changed.  iTunes creates its own converted files at the location it stores all the iTunes media files.

  • How can I delete duplicate music albums from my iPad 2?

After installing iOS 7, I needed to sync some itunes music to my iPad2.  After running the sync process, I wound up with 64 albums instead of the 24 listed in my itunes account.  For some very strange reason, the music albums were duplicated (I am NOT making this up!!).
I can only delete ONE song at a time, BUT when I delete a song from one album, it is also deleted from the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th duplicate albums.  I am reading to toss itunes and the iPad both!!!  If I didn't love reading books on my iPad, I think I would toss it at this point.  If I continued to delete one song at a time, wouldn't I eventually delete ALL the songs????  ARRRRRGH!!
In addition, I have been searching for 2 days for any other iPad users who may have had this happen to them, but I have found nothing on the discussion site.  ALL I have found is the suggestion to delete ONE song at a time.  HELP!!  I have seen questions similar to this regarding iPhones and iPods.

I have same problem, you can only delete one song at a time but if you chose the one without the icloud on the right, slide finger from right to left on the song, red delete box appears, click delete, this will remove that song only and leave the other icloud songs in place. Long job, put coffee machine on, worked for me, good luck

  • Ive had a lap top from a friend, she cleared everything off it but ive downloaded itunes and all her music has appeared in the itunes library. How can i delete her music from the itunes library?

ive got a laptop from a friend, she cleared everything off it. ive downloaded itunes and for some reason all her music has appeared in the library. How do i delete her music from the itunes libary so i can add my own music?

In iTunes, select the music you want to delete (⌘+a to select all) and hit Delete on your keyboard.
Also delete the music files in Finder. Also make sure you have your own Apple ID and iTunes account and logged in.

  • HT1449 Now that i have my iTunes backed up on iCloud and iCloud Match running, can I delete the music files from my MacBook Pro?  It is running out of hard drive space.

When I started this request in the Support section, I did not realize I was typing a subject into a header.  Sorry.
My MacBook Pro is nearly full and I would like to rely on iCloud for my music with the hope of freeing up space by deleting the music files I have accumulated on this machine.  Can I just delete the files in the iTunes folder or is there some special procedure?
Thanks in advance for your help on this.

  • Can i delete my musics from my HD once they are on icloud?

I have many questions about itunes match. After "uploading" my musics to icloud can i delete them from my computer and later download them from icloud so that a i can have the 256kb aac version of them?
Why many of my music dont have the cloud icon beside the music name?
How should i know when my music was converted to 256kbs?
    Thanks

You can easily see which songs are "matched" or "uploaded" by enabling the iCloud Status column in the iTunes Browser. Pull down View > View options, select "icloud status" and click OK.

Once most of us want to download the files the best quality possible, its pretty nice observe how many songs were really matched or simply uploaded. In my case i guess about 70% were matched.
Keep in mind that upgrading of your music is not the primary purpose for which iTunes Match is intended. It is a very nice side benefit, though.

Does anyone knows if changing the music tag (ID3?) helps improving itunes store to match more songs? If so can do it in itunes or finder? Thanks a lot!
Modifying the ID3 tags will have very little if any affect on whether a song is matched or not. The main thing iTM relies on to do its matching is the waveform of the song.

  • TS4124 After uploading all music to iCloud can i delete the music from my laptop?

Hello!  My first visit, and hope I am doing this correctly.
    I have two two questions.
1: Having uploaded all of my music to iCloud and iMatch, from Laptop running Windows Vista, to iPad and iphone 3GS can I safely remove the music from my Laptop and just recall it from 'Cloud and Match' as required?  Rhereby saving memory on my laptop.
2:  When uploading my music to iCloud and iMatch I noticed that allmusic was removed from iphone, thereby, freeing up memory BUT the music remains on my iPad at all times.  How can I get the music to sit in the cloud and not on my ipad?
    Thanking you, you clever ones!

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can remove the content from the laptop, but if anything in iTunes match is removed from the iTunes store, you won't be able to redownload it. Hopefully such instances will be minimal.
Payout can delete anything on the iPad by swiping it and tapping the delete button. I'm not sure why it left everything on the iPad when you turned on iTunes match, it did that on my iPhone too the first time, I can't recall what I did, but it was removed at some point.
