Can't delete or send a song off my nokia N8

I have a Nokia N8 and have files I want to delete and files I want to send in the music category.
I have a problem regarding the above sentence as I can't find a delete or a send button (via Bluetooth) in the music library, I understand that I can delete music off the phone in ovi store once connected to the PC but this is very inconvenient when I need memory.
Can anyone please help?

there is no 'Delete' button. You long press the album or single track and one of the options is delete.
The other option on long press is Send. I have never used it but I assume you can send via bluetooth
Don't forget to refresh the Music Library aftyer you have finished deleting the things you no longer want

As long as they are in a continuous range, select the first, then hold SHIFT and click on the last. All in between will be selected. You can also use CTRL-click to add or remove individual songs from the selection. When you are ready you can delete the selection.
You might find iTunes Folder Watch useful if your missing files are scattered randomly through the library.

How can I delete pictures from my moments off the new IOS8 when it doesnt give me the option to delete the photo itself? The icon of the trash doesnt appear what so ever. This is the only thing im dissapointed in the IOS8 update. Theres not even a camera roll where you can delete the photo like the IOS7

Try this:
1. Start from the homescreen of your Iphone/pod (for dummies: where all of your "apps" are).
2. Look for an app on your homescreen titled "Photos", when you find it - Click it.
3. When the app opens, go ahead and look towards the bottom of your phonescreen.
     You should see a navigation with three different options;
       "Photos", "Shared" & "Albums"; Why don't you just go ahead and click on "Albums", there we go - Very nice!
4. On the next screen that appears, it should display your different albums.
     Look for "Recently Deleted", and when you find it - Click on it.
       It should be on that list somewhere (or there's a problem!).
5. Now you should see a screen displaying all of the recent photos you've deleted.
     The term we know as "recent" to iOS is thirty days (that's 720 hours in people-time!).
       You will have to click to each individual photo, however at the bottom left-hand cornor of every photo take notice of the 'Delete' option.

my ipod picks and chooses when i connect whether its going to update or not,
In Auto, it updates every time you connect it.
If you do not change anything it iTunes, the update will take only a second because there was nothing changed to update.

Try using the Delete key on the keyboard.

Hi- I set up my BB to access my gmail acct. Problem is BB can receive gmail, but won't send or delete gmail msg
through the BB. BB also won't "reconcile" with Gmail acct either. Sending/Receiving/Deleting is ok on laptop.

Try using the Enhanced Gmail Plug-In for your blackberry device if you are not already using it.

BlackBerry Internet Service 2.6 now automatically filters out any new email message that has also been flagged as a Sent Item. These messages are no longer delivered to the BlackBerry smartphone. As a result, email messages sent from the mailbox to itself are also being filtered out.
Currently there is no resolution to this issue.

It sounds like you are needing to activate your Apple ID with FaceTime on the Mac. Try these steps from the following article named:

Can't delete icons or drag icons off to the Recycle Bin.

We have one user who logs in to her laptop on our network - Server 2012 domain. She has domain user permissions but when she drags icons to the recycle bin for deleting she gets prompted for a user name & password. Does the user need permissions
to her C:\Users\useraaccount\desktop folder to delete icons?

Sounds like there is a folder permission issue. From the C:\Users\useraccount destination make sure she has all of the appropriate permissions and is the owner of the folder. If her files and are backed up, I would also try recreating her profile on the
laptop (Only if the other step does not work).

I can't seem to send a song from my Iphone to apple tv any more.

On the ipod app in my phone I can see the airplay button and can select the Apple TV. It the timer for the track starts moving like it's playing but nothing happens on the Apple TV. Any suggestions?

I reset my phone and Apple TV with no change, then I hard reset my Apple TV by unplugging it and everything seems to be working now.

I want to delete a bunch of songs off of my iPhone but it won't let me delete them from Itunes. I know that I can delete them from my phone but when I search them I can't delete them like that; I have to go through roughly 700 songs to look for the 20 or so that I want to actually delete. Why can I delete them from the "Music" list in iTunes but not from "Music" list from my device? I still want them in iTunes, just not on my phone. Help me please!!

I completely agree and am seriously getting off the Apple Mothership. I've been a loyal fan of mac products but recent updates seem to reduce user functionality.
I also have a Iphone 4 and unable to remove songs from Itunes or my phone. Since updating to the Lion (which was a total mistake) my Macbook Pro (only a few years old) runs slow and hot. My phone, wihich was rather reliable freezes.
Mac products used to reign superior to Windows but it's no longer the case.

Hellow, im kinda new to ipod nano and i have a question that i can not find out and is kinda hard for me as a (newb) too figure out. When i open up itunes it shows my Libary and all that good stuff. I plug my ipod in, Than loads, Than it will say Tim's Ipod beacuse that's what i have saved it as. What i want to do is delete some of the songs off my ipod that i have downloaded. Is this possible or no beacuse i dont have a clue.

iTunes for Windows and the standard copy protected songs purchased from the iTunes Store are only compatible with the iPod/iPhone range and the iTunes enabled phones from Motorola. You may be able to get your player working with the aid of a third party helper program. Have a look at this one and see what you think: iTunes Agent -Windows
If your player supports drag and drop through Windows Explorer you can drag tracks from the iTunes Music folder rather than through the iTunes interface. Also remember that many players will not work with AAC (MP4) format at present so if you imported anything from CD into iTunes using the AAc encoder then they will need to be converted to MP3. You won't be able to convert iTunes Store copy protected songs, you can only burn them to data discs for backup or Audio CD to play on other players.

The song can be deleted by swiping the song, then tapping 'Delete.'

I can't delete songs from my iTunes wish list

Everytime I go to my wish list and click the x next to a song to delete it, the song will disappear for a few seconds than reappear in the same spot.So I can't delete or add any songs. Any help?

I was very frustrated by the same problem. iTunes seemed to be forcing me to "buy" items in my WishList before allowing me to download any other podcasts, media files, etc. Note that the items in my WishList were moved over by Apple when they got rid of the "shopping cart". They put anything leftover in the shopping cart from before into the WishList. I don't think this was part of the problem..... I'm just explaining -- for me these were old files that I did *not* actually want to buy anymore. But when I tried to delete -- I ran into this same problem.
Finally in frustration I thought, okay, screw it, I'll just buy the files -- there were only two song files, total $1.98. So I pressed the button that said "Buy" -- and what it did was shoot me over to a new page of Terms & Conditions. When I accepted THOSE, it did NOT automatically download the files in my WishList, but what it did do was FINALLY allow me to delete them!!!
So, if this problem sounds like yours, don't be duped by that first "Buy" button. It won't automatically charge your credit card. There are a few more steps "behind the wall" before an actual "purchase" and along the way, after those new Terms & Conditions, I was finally able to clear out my WishList.
