Can't delete picture or ebooks

I had some pictures on my itouch. When I plugged my itouch into my computer, itunes synced every picture on my computer onto the itouch. I cannot delete them, there is no delete icon in rht corner. Any suggestions.Memory maxed out.

Configure your iPod not sync your photos by removing the tick mark next to Sync Photos from under your iPod's Photos configuration pane in iTunes. See this article for more details.

You can delete ebooks via the sync process in iTunes as well. Double check to see how and what is configured to sync to your iPod for ebooks with the iPod's Books configuration pane.

How can I delete pictures from my moments off the new IOS8 when it doesnt give me the option to delete the photo itself? The icon of the trash doesnt appear what so ever. This is the only thing im dissapointed in the IOS8 update. Theres not even a camera roll where you can delete the photo like the IOS7

Try this:
1. Start from the homescreen of your Iphone/pod (for dummies: where all of your "apps" are).
2. Look for an app on your homescreen titled "Photos", when you find it - Click it.
3. When the app opens, go ahead and look towards the bottom of your phonescreen.
     You should see a navigation with three different options;
       "Photos", "Shared" & "Albums"; Why don't you just go ahead and click on "Albums", there we go - Very nice!
4. On the next screen that appears, it should display your different albums.
     Look for "Recently Deleted", and when you find it - Click on it.
       It should be on that list somewhere (or there's a problem!).
5. Now you should see a screen displaying all of the recent photos you've deleted.
     The term we know as "recent" to iOS is thirty days (that's 720 hours in people-time!).
       You will have to click to each individual photo, however at the bottom left-hand cornor of every photo take notice of the 'Delete' option.

i saw this under the summary tab in itunes. when you hover over photos at the bottom it shows how many pictures. i don't have it set to sync pics off of my computer files to the phone which is over 6,000 which it said when i clicked on sync photos from but i didn't sync. My phone shows 1.4GB on my camera roll while itunes, under the summary tab of my iphone shows 2.89GB.
i just read this morning to delete photos from the stream which removes them from the cloud and all synced devices. this is why i get confused because i read that on apple.com as well.

After a successful conversion from PDF to Word, you need to download the converted file locally on your computer.
You can then choose 'Enable Editing' button and then delete images/text or make other changes.

This is a user forum, you won't get a response from Apple. You cannot currently delete single photos from the photostream. You have to reset it. To do this go to icloud.com - advanced - reset photostream. Then toggle off/on the photostream on your device(s)

I can't delete pictures in my "drop box" gallery... HELP!

I recently found a "drop box" (2 words; not Dropbox) folder in my images on my S3. I didn't put this there and there are 3 pictures inside that I can't delete. I also can't delete the folder itself. These pictures are very old and I have no idea how they got on this phone. I want to delete them but can't figure out how. I tried downloading Dropbox and uninstalling it but that didn't help either.

Lets get that drop box removed Alasyn! Try these simple steps:
- Open Play Store
- Go to "My Apps"
- Select Dropbox
- Click uninstall

I would like to use iPhoto to delete pictures from my iPad and iPhone but I can't seem to do that. I don't want to go through and mark each individual picture on the device itself to delete them.

You can only do this when importing. You could try using Image Capture (in the Applications Folder) for the job.

You can turn off photo stream on the iPad via Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream . Individual photos can't be deleted according to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486 :
Individual photos cannot be deleted from your Photo Stream. You can, however, delete all the photos in your Photo Stream by clicking the Reset Photo Stream button in your account at icloud.com. The Reset Photo Stream button will instantly delete all Photo Stream photos stored in iCloud, but it will not remove any Photo Stream photos that have already been pushed to your devices.
