Can't disable share button on Mavericks

It seeps that Share Button appears in Notification Center every time I restart my mac.
I go to Settings/Notifications and untick “Show share button in Notification Center”. The button disappears but as soon as I restart my mac it is there in Notification Center again!
Looks like a bug! Does anyone have the same problem?

I really don't know myself.

    Hi Kamal,
    how to disable “Cancel and keep workitem in Inbox” button in the user decision.
    As far as i know this is not possible. Just recollected reading this [old thread.|http://mailman.mit.edu/pipermail/sap-wug/2004-September/014240.html]
    then the work item is regenerated for him alone.
    Again this is a standard behaviour, as soon as the workitem is executed by one of the responsible agents it is reserved for that person so that no one can perform any action on it unless the first person replaces it intentionally. Yes, it would have been a better option to have it replaced automatically on pressing "Cancel and keep the workitem in inbox" but this is the way the design is. It is the responsibility of the agent to replace it manually (using "Replace" button) after performing any action on the workitem including pressing "Cancel" button. You may need to take care of this in the user training.
    Additionally you can also schedule a report (may be once a day in the midnight) which can check for the reserved workitems and replace all of them using "SAP_WAPI_PUT_BACK_WORKITEM". This would make sure that the workitems are replaced to all users even if the user has accidentally forgot to replace the workitem. Again in this case the user cannot "Reserve" a workitem even if he/she wants to (as your scheduled report would replace it in the midnight).
    Thanks,

  • How can I disable a button ?

    Do it thru its action:
    //Deactivate a button disabling its action
    //You can see it but clicking it does nothing
    wdGetACTION_NAMEAction().setEnabled(false);
    //Get it's funcionality back
    wdGetACTION_NAMEAction().setEnabled(true);
    Or you could hide it using an attribute of type WDVisibility binded to its visible property.
    //Hide it
    wdContext.currentContextElement.setATTRIBUTE(WDVisibility.NONE);
    //and Show it
    wdContext.currentContextElement.setATTRIBUTE(WDVisibility.VISIBLE);

  • How can I disable back button

    How can I disable the back button and/or prevent the back button displaying my recent searches on right click ?

    Set the pref <b>browser.sessionhistory.max_entries</b> to 0 on the <b>about:config</b> page.
    To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
    If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />

  • Satellite E100-004 - Can I disable media buttons like mute, play pause

    My laptop is the Toshiba Satellite E100-004.
    is there a way do disable The multimedia Touch Panel (Media Buttons on top of keyboard - mute-media-play/pause-stop-rewind-forward-) ?
    thanx

    Hello
    Please don't be mad on my but I don't understand your question. These buttons are by default set to run with preinstalled Windows media player. If you don't like them simply don't touch them.
    I just know that you can change settings for browser and multimedia button and define which application should be open with these buttons.
    Anyway such option is not known to me.
    Why you want to disable these buttons?

  • Captivate 7 - Can you disable a button in Properties?

    Hi,
    I have a screen with popups and want to disable the navigation buttons until each popup is closed. I am disabling the buttons in the scripts that open the popups, which is fine. However, I am at showing "dummy" navigation buttons on top of the real buttons that look greyed out. These don't do anything but I can't find a way of disabling them so you can't tab to them without having to write a script for the page to disable them.
    Is there a way to disable buttons without writing a script for page enter?
    Or, better yet, is there a way to change the look of a button between enabled and disabled (I'm using a lighter font color for my disabled buttons)?
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    I've just discovered that just disabling the buttons will not disable the tabbing. You don't see the tabbing, but nonetheless these disabled buttons are included in the tabbing.
    So... is there any way to exclude buttons from the tabbing order? The only thing I can think of is to reproduce the buttons using a shape ... but I don't know whether I'd be able to get them looking exactly the same unless I use images instead.
    Or, is there a way to set the focus so the tabbing starts at a specific object? For example, if I have a popup displayed, I want the focus on the Close button so they don't have to tab around all the other buttons before it gets to the Close button.

  • Can the social share button use separate cookies for s/m sites?

    I like the idea of the built-in share buttons, but I was dismayed to learn that they share cookies[1] with the main browser pages.
    I consider the share buttons that are on pretty much all websites a privacy drain because they send data on the page you're visiting to the social network whether or not you choose to share it. So I ensure I'm not logged in while browsing normally, and only log in when I want to share something.
    If the firefox share services used separate cookies (I guess like private browsing must), then it would be a really handy feature.

  • How can i disable a button in the application tool bar of a standard trans?

    Hi Experts,
       I want to disable the create button in the application tool bar of the standard transaction cv03n. Is there any method?

    Hi,
    In the include 'LCV110F19', the GUI is being called for the screen.
    This is the actual code being called.
    WHEN c_dms_create.
          SET PF-STATUS 'D100CREATE'.
          SET TITLEBAR  'D100CREATE'.
    You can try to code something like below.
    DATA: itab TYPE TABLE OF sy-ucomm.
    APPEND 'CREATE' TO itab.
    SET PF-STATUS 'D100CREATE' EXCLUDING itab.
    Kindly reward points by clikcing the star on the left of reply,if it helps.

  • How can i disable offline viewing in Mavericks Mail 7?

    I use a very large IMAP account. So i disabled the offline viewing. Now, after upgrade to mavericks, i cannot find this option anymore!?

    Might be a Safari extension ..
    From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
    If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

  • Can I disable the buttons on the side of my Nano 7?

    I keep my iPod Nano in my pocket frequently, and just about every time I do the device will start playing audio. After fiddling with it, I realized that I am pressing the "play" button just by moving my legs around. Is there any way to disable the play component on the volume button? The Settings menu is woefully sparse.

    You will need to have the iPhone's IMEI number registered with your service provider.  To fix your wi-fi try restarting your iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo.  If you are still having problems go into your settings>general>reset then tap reset network settings.

    I wrote LockCD application after giving up on finding a properly functioning software that would lock the CD ROM eject button which i hit quite frequently on my Lenovo T520 laptop. The main problem with the software found over the internet was that it wouldn't retain the lock state after Sleep/Resume. I made it freely available at http://sourceforge.net/p/lockcd/wiki/Home/

  • How do I disable "Exceptions" button for "Block pop-up windows" in Content tab?. I am able to Disable other Exception buttons in this tab using about:config preference.

    Need a way to disable "Exception" button for "Block Pop-up windows" in Tools-> Options -> Content tab. I want to be able to do this for Locking Down Firefox preferences.

    That button doesn't have a pref associated with it, so you can't disable that button with a pref on the about:config page or a lockPref call.
    That only leaves the choice to remove that button with code in userChrome.css

  • Why can't I share from faces?

    I can use the share  buttons all day long from anywhere but the "Faces" folder in the Library, but as soon as I navigate to a photo or two in the Faces, the Share items gray out in the toolbar and the menu.
    Any hints or thought on how to fix this, or is this a known issue?
    Thanks!

    It's just how it works. (Faces is a highly specialized Viewer, with its own thumbnails and Previews.  Note that these "Faces" crops cannot be exported.  You can share the full image, and you can create your own cropped Versions, but you cannot access (and thus cannot export) Aperture's own Faces crop.)
    A couple of easy work-arounds for sharing the whole image:
    . For single images:
    . . right-click and show in Project
    . For multiple images:
      . . either select them all and create a new Album, or flag them and then go to Flagged View.

  • How to disable OK button of faces message and make it modal

    Hello all,
    I am using this code for displaying faces messages programatically :
    *public String showMessage() {*
    String messageText=”A prgramatic af:message”;
    FacesMessage fm = new FacesMessage(messageText);
    ** set the type of the message.*
    ** Valid types: error, fatal,info,warning*
    fm.setSeverity(FacesMessage.SEVERITY_INFO);
    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    context.addMessage(null, fm);
    return null;
    But the problem here is it is showing an OK button at the bottom but I want to disable that button. How can I disable that button? For closing the message we are using function keys like ' F8 ' and we are using javascript for that.
    Also we can not use dialog there because we are adding the messages programatically and showing the faces message programatically.
    Also I want this message to have modal behavior so that until user press F8 for closing that message, user would not be able to navigate to the main form.
    How can I achieve this?
    Please Suggest.
    Thanks

    Hello All,
    How can I make the faces message Modal so that, until user closes that faces message he should not be allowed to click on or navigate to main page.
