Can't display pdf's using IE 10

This issue I have had for several months even using IE 9. I can display PDF's just fine using Firefox.
I have read and read and have exhausted all options...I think.
I have the latest Reader and also have X Pro installed, using WIN 7, 64 BIT
When I click on a PDF document on any webpage all I get is a circle with a line through it on the top left corner of the screen when a new window opens up.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Could you please check the following settings/preferences:
1.Launch Reader/Acrobat (specifically the one which has its plugin used for brwoser- you better change the preferences for both).
2.Goto Edit->Preferences-> Internet (in categories pane)
Check whether Display PDF in browser is enabled; if not, enable it- and then retry.

Reader X Can't Open PDF's Using Firefox or IE

I just installed Adobe Reader X on a computer with Windows XP SP3. It would not run until I put it in Windows 2000 compatibility mode and install the visual C++ 2008 run time package. Now I can open and print PDF's using the freestanding reader program but if I open a PDF while in my IE7 or the latest Firefox browser I get a screen that shows a progress bar that says "loading" but nothing is ever displayed. With a lot of web appliations, I am never offered to open or save the file so not being able to view the file means it can not be downloaded for later viewing either. I am dead in the water.
What should I do? This has been very frustrating and I am very close to uninstalling it and reloading 9.4 if I am able to do so.

Lexmark Prevail Pro705 using USB connection
After about an hours use today I suddenly found that couldn't create a pdf via my scanner using the PROGRAMME PRESETS (which are now greyed out). To the best of my knowledge no update or other machine activity took place before the time I lost preset use.
I can scan using the CUSTOM SCAN and then selecting WIA-Lexmark Pro700 Series from the Input Scanner dropdown box. If I click Lexmark Pro700 Series TWAIN and then try to proceed, Arcobat freezes. If I try to select and adjust the presets I get an error message, ‘The scanner last used by Acrobat does not support preset scanning. Please select another scanner’.
I can scan a PDF via the Lexmark utility and create a PDF that way so I’m assuming that is using WIA?
I’ve down loaded Twacker 64 and opening FILE – SELECT SOURCE there is nothing listed.
Occasionally when I have just let the prog to try and scan after selecting the TWAIN setting in the CONFIGURE PRESETS after a time, I get an error message asking that I disconnect / reconnect the USB cable /restart the computer. I’ve tried doing this with no change. Acrobat then reports, ‘ Scanning cancelled.’
I’ve checked for Lexmark, Adobe and Windows updates – nothing.
I’ve tried ringing Adobe and after hanging on for over an hour gave up.
Any ideas what I can do to restore the preset/TWAIN feature?

After spending just under 2 hours on the phone to Adobe Support yesterday I have just received a product update which I'm pleased to say has corrected what must have been a prog bug.

You have to customize surveyResults.jsff page fragment that is available in "WebCenter Polls and Surveys Service View" library. You can find this library by creating a WebCenter Spaces Task flow Customization project from Jdeveloper. Kindly do let me know if you need more details in this regard.
You have add output or label in surveyResults.jsff and then map its value attribute with RE of suggestion text area might be available in surveyResultBean class.

Can't view PDF files using Acrobat Reader X

We made many PDF files available on our Web site. In the past few weeks we noticed that users who were using Acrobat Reader X and Internet Explorer 8 or 9 were not able to view some PDF files. Basically, when they clicked a link to display a PDF file, the screen would be cleared and the status bar showing "Loading ...KB/...K/B" would be displayed. The status bar would move a bit and then got stuck. The PDF file would never be displayed. Sometimes, my users could click the Back button to go back the previous Web page and sometimes they had to close or kill the IE window. Small PDF files seemed to be fine. I was able to repeat this problem on PCs running Windows XP and Windows 7. I also tested clicking the same PDF files with PCs installed with Acrobat Reader 9 and I was not able to cause the problem to occur, so I am pretty sure that this problem is related to Acrobat Reader X. I also noticed that if I unchecked the "Display PDF in browser" option in Acrobat Reader X so that PDF files would not be displayed inside the Internet Explorer window, I would be able to view all PDF files without any problems.
I also did an experiment by resaving many PDF files using Acrobat Pro (Reduce File Size...) to be compatible with Acrobat 8 or above. I was able to open these PDF files using Acrobat Reader X but when I used a PC with Acrobat 9, it would get stuck instead. Most of my PDF files were created a long time ago and we usually made it compatible with Acrobat 5 or above.
I saw that some people reported some problems with Acrobat Reader X but I did not see a solution except uninstalling Acrobat Reader X and installing an old version of Acrobat Reader instead. Anyone has any ideas why this is happening and how to fix this problem?

Sounds like you got the trial of Acrobat. Go to add/remove programs, get rid of it, the download the free Reader from http://get.adobe.com/reader/

You can disable the Adobe Reader plugin in Firefox and use the Adobe Reader program or Preview instead.

PDF files may also be found under another entry like Portable document.

We opened your PDF document (pocTest.pdf) in Adobe Reader for iOS version 11.2.4. The nested bookmarks are displayed correctly.
Perhaps you and your end users have different expectations on how nested bookmarks appear in Reader. The user interface for Bookmarks in Reader for iOS is indeed different from the one in the desktop version of Reader.
Here are the screenshots of nested bookmarks for the other PDF document iPadUserGuide.pdf.
Initially, Reader for iOS displays the top level bookmarks only.

How can I display more info using remote app?

Hi there,
I use remote app a lot, but I find it quite basic in the display features.
I mean: remote is great to browse my music library and play songs with on my living room hi-fi while I'm sitting comfortable on my sofa.
But what if I would like to know the release date of the album, the name of the composer, and so on?
Is there any way to configure the remote app to display more?
Is any kind of new release of the app on its way?

Command (right) - click on a photo in the Photo tray and select Small Photo from the contextual menu:
This will give you two columns of photos.
To reduce the number of photos to select from one can select only Unplaced Photos to be displayed in the tray.

I want to use a applet to display some images retrieved from intermedia OrdImage Object.
Now ,I know that a applet can display some image objects or some images with their own filepaths. But we can get ordimag objects from Oracle database.And we can image data or image properties by ordimage java mathod. It is in html/Jsp environment. So how can I transform from ordimage to applet?? I appreciate someone who can help me!

Do you mean applet or Servlet?
An Applet is java code that is downloaded over the web and runs in a web browser environment. Is this what you are doing?
I suspect you are really talking about servlet/JSP environments, and the ability to include images from the database in a web page.
In either case (applet or servlet), you want to be able to access images via a URL. For a Servlet/JSP/web page, this URL will be specified in a HTML <IMG> tag with a key as a parameter to the image you wish to view. Images are not in-line downloaded in a web page. They are access after the HTML is loaded, and are accessed with URLs, sometimes relative URLs rather than fully specified URLs.
To deliver images to the web from the database using the PL/SQL gateway and iAS, where the procedures are generated by a wizard, see:

You can create a simple servlet (JSPs can not deliver binary data) that delivers database images using java classes. See:

You can't. You have to use <img src...> in the HTML. That src can be to a servlet that gets the image data from the DB and writes the image data out, of course. Just set the content type to image/jpeg or image/gif or whatever it is.
