Can't download 1.1.2 update

Everytime itunes starts downloading the 1.1.2 update i get an error 3259 that the connection timed out....i tried it several times last night & gave up; I am trying again & just had the same problem. Last night i got as far as 9 minutes remaining then got the error. So far the 1st time tonite i only got maybe a couple of minutes & got the error. Any ideas?

I am having a similar problem. I have a dial-up connection (go figure), and I needed to let it download overnight. I didn't want it to install while I was not watching, so I clicked "download only" instead of "download and install". When it was finished downloading, though, there were no prompts on how to install it! Instead, when I tried to update, it started all over and asked if I wanted to download and install it. I clicked on download and install. The indication that the previous download was finished (and the entire download window on iTunes itself) just disappeared! I tried looking for the downloaded file on my computer, but couldn't find it.
I had no choice but to let it download again, all day today. This time I did not keep the iPhone attached, and the download continued. When I got back home, it was all downloaded (160 MB). I expected that when I attached the iPhone again, it would prompt me to install it. Instead, it again told me that I needed to download and install the update. I clicked cancel. Then the freaking download window and indication of my 160 MB download disappeared again!
I used the search function on my pc to find any files downloaded today and found this: iPhone1,11.1.2_3B48bRestore.ipsw
However, this file is only 81 MB, not 160. I don't want to risk trying to install it by shift-clicking on update, unless someone tells me it's safe. Maybe a better idea is to re-download it again, but this time choose "download and install", even if that happens in the middle of the night while I am asleep.
Any thoughts?

Finally the Iphoto 9.5 was installed...any way ..I had to go to app store to purchase it because the previous version did not updated autimatically... only shoed me that there is a new version ...but it guided me to the app store to purchase it.... and I did it because I did not know that the up date was free...and the sistem did not adviced me about that...
I have the last up date of os x 10.9 already...
in this new version I have no problem to send the photos by e-mail... but in the previous one it allways showed me an error message like ¨I should try later because the server does not work¨ but I tryed with 4 differents e-mail account that worked perfectly in the app Mail.
any way, this new version is ok..

Hi mesuno. I can't download the update either. When I click on "Update" I see the download progress bar for only a fraction of a second. Then I get a message in the "updates installed" area saying that the update has been installed. Then the Security Update notice returns and so does the "Update" button. Then I press "Update" again and the same thing happens. I can do this ad infinitum.
The system seems to be confused. I have several entries in the "installed" area saying that it has been installed, but still the "Update" button persists. When I check with "Sytem information" there is no record of the installation.
Is there something wrong with the App Store app, or does anyone else have a better idea?

Just Can't download, buy or even update apps...

I use only one Apple ID and only one ID. I did have to change the password at one point but I had no issues at all with updating apps after I changed the password.
If you can download new apps with the ID that you changed the password for, I would think that you will be able to update apps associated with that ID as well.
Did you try restarting the iPad after signing out of the one account and then sign in to the other account/accounts?

It is possible to install the driver from Intel but you have to do this is device manager!
You have to FORCE windows choosing the downloaded driver and this can be done using the advanced installation procedure. This helps to choose the driver from Intel and to finish the installation!

I can't update an app for my games since changing my I D and downloading the IOS 6 update. The info box pops up and says that I purchased the original game under an old ID ! Has anyone had this problem and what can I do to get back to my games? Also the rest of my Game apps are frozen!

When I downloaded the new iOS 6 while on holiday in Alberta. Why there you say. My Husband is hunting. Anyway as soon as I updated I immediately had problems. The ID that came was one used when I first bought the iPad before it was changed to my personal ID. Which I have been using for month with no problem. Then with the upgrade it was like it did not exist, So I re-entered my original ID and password. I then tried to purchase a game that I had previously downloaded I like it so wanted to purchase it. Entered my password and was informed that this app was on another iPad and I had to download it again. What bothers me I have downloaded a few games will I have this problem with all of them. And when it comes to updates on games I already have will I not be able to do those updates. Not only that but games I already play have been in frozen mode. I am so upset I was planning on using my iPad while my husband was hunting. There have been a few times I have wanted to throw this thing in the campfire. So any help would be gratefully received.

I recently got a new macbook and have just installed iLife 11. I tried to run iPhoto and it said it can't run without the latest update.
So I ran my Software Updater and waited for it to update my iPhoto. It downloads halfway and then gave me a error basically saying the file corrupted while downloading and I must try again, I did this with no luck. I then decided to download the update directly from apple's downloads and the file downloads mostly and then said the file could not be mounted. I have tried downloading the iPhoto 9.1 update on my iMac and on a windows machine.
The windows machine downloads the file just fine but when I try and run it on my mac it gives me a error saying the file is corrupt and I should try downloading it again. I am at a loss as to what the problem could be, and at the moment am without iPhoto.
I decided that for the meantime I should uninstall iLife 11 and go back to 9, I did this just to find out that I now can't download updates for iPhoto 9 without my files being corrupted. So I don't see how this is a problem with my iLife installation.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the same issue in South Africa with updates for my Macbook, Macbook Pro and Mac Pro. I go through Open Web and not sure who they use, maybe IS, but no download updates were working I complained and they changed something and the updates worked with the exception of the 10.5.6 and 10.6.6 OS update. I have tried both the individual files and the combos and have tried to download through Safari, Firefox and speed download - which actually managed to download the file but it won't mount and gives me a bad checksum error. It appears that there is some code in these files or manner in which Apple distributes the data or the protocols it uses that causes havoc with the internet providers here and with all the restrictions and varying shapped and unshapped services we have the file can't get through.
Is there anyway to change this??? I don't want to have to go into Core every time I need to update my computer. Anyone find a solution or work around?
