I am trying to download the JDBC 8.1.7 driver, but when I follow the links I end up at http://otn.oracle.com/software/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/htdocs/jdbc817.html, with no way to get at the driver. Please help!!

Yes, but it does not work the same way. Insert the USB flash drive into the computer and open it so it looks like a folder. In iTunes, highlight the songs you want, and drag them over to the folder.
If you usually run iTunes in full screen mode, make it smaller so you can do the drag.

I am using an Elitebook 820G1 with an external monitor HP Compaq L2206tm.
The monitor is also not showing up in Sounds>Playback as of now.
But when it does show up in Sounds, it can play sound from the laptop.
Problem is sometimes after reboot or wake up from sleep, the monitor drops off from the Sounds panel.
I tried uninstalling Intel (R) display audio driver from Device Manager, and then do a scan for hardware changes to reintall the driver, I get a message "Device driver software was successfully installed."
May I know where can I download Intel (R) display audio driver for HP Compaq L2206tm / Elitebook 820G1?
And what can I do to keep the monitor stay on the Sounds panel?
Please help, I have googled endless with no results.

Open the Terminal in the Utilities folder. Copy and paste the following command line in its entirety into the Terminal window.

I neglected to say that I tried updating the driver from the Device Manager device window and the result was a message saying it could not find a newer driver, that the one installed was correct.

I also did not say that I have uninstalled the device, through Device Manager. Upon restarting the system, the drive was found and software installed but the problem remains.

In the process of installing some Roxio software, Creator 9, an unusable driver, are part of one, was installed. Now the device is not working.
When I didn't see on the list of devices on Windows Explorer, I went to Device Manager and found that it was flagged with the "problem" icon (exclamation point on a yellow background).

It appears that the Creator install installed part of the driver but not one that functions. It might be a problem with Windows 7 or the fact that this install is 64 bits.
I have searched the HP site and can't find a driver for the device. When I look at the list of drivers available for this system, the optical drive is not shown.
I downloaded and installed the HP driver search program - or whatever it is called - and ran it. There were no devices listed on "Optical Drive" tab when I looked at the results - it could not "see" the drive.
I realize that what I need is probably a generic driver from MS, that's why one is not shown on the HP site, but how do I go about finding the right one for this device?
Is there a generic "one size fits all" driver for Windows 7 which can drive this device?
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Actually the DBA hadnt given the rights to set my classpath. thats the reason for the syntax error at the command promt when i sd set classpath. Then Mine is java 1.2 anyways i added the foelder that contains both 12 & 111.zip.
just have a doubt:
thomas, in the below whats the -cp for?
java -cp classes111.zip;myprogram.jar <mainclass>
is the command for setting tha classpath??? cos i usually do: set classpath=.;<other dir>
i think the . is to say append to already existing files. pls anyone correct me if am wrong. And whats the diff bet. that and
set classpath=%classpath%;<other dir>
