Can't Download an app and want to get rid of msg
I once choose to download an app. But I got the message that it could not download that app at that time, to try again later.
Now every time I go to the app store I get the same message. I don't want to download the app any more. How can I make the message go away?'
I get this message too. Every time I try to download an app I get a message saying there are 33 apps that can not be downloaded and to try again later. The app I am trying to download does download but I get 'ghost' icons of the others. It doesn't make any sense why the app store is telling me I can't download apps I have already downloaded previously.
This all started when I entered my ID wrong. The only way to get rid of the ghost icons is to tap them. Otherwise they stay there waiting for the download.
I can't get this error message to go away. It must be a new bug.

Try these 3 possible solutions:
1. Restart iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
2. Close inactive Apps

Since downloading the new IOS 5.0.1 I can't download any apps and can't download any app updates. Why?
Take a look at your remaining memory make sure you have enough memory to download the apps, also try restarting your iPhone by hold down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo.

We have an Apple 9 and 10 operating system and want to get rid of the 9 how do we do that?

Julie ReidAn alternate method is to just throw away the OS 9 System Folder (not the folder named System - that's OSX), and throw away the OS 9-only apps you might have.
Since it is OS 9.0, it can not be used as Classic - and so there should be no hooks to Classic in OSX that might prevent a casual removal via the Trash.
If OS 9 is on its own partition (the default is everyhting on one volume (partition), but any folks who have both OS's have placed OS 9 on its own partition), then you can erase just that partition.
Additional issue -
You mentioned installing Snow Leopard (OSX 10.6). Since you have a PowerMac, that's not possible. Snow Leopard will run only on machines having an Intel processor, which no PowerMac (or any machine capable of using OS 9) has.
Depending on other criteria, your machine may not even be suitable for Leopard (OSX 10.5). There are some minimum requirements that must be met - primarily a CPU (machine) speed of 867MHz (no stock machine capable of boooting to OS 9.0 has a processor that fast), plus some minimums with regard to RAM and available hard drive space.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.

My dad got this iPhone for me a few months ago as a gift since I had a really awful phone before. The only thing is, I can't seem to upgrade it to the latest software without it telling me it's already updated to iOS 4 or something like that. (I would be able to give you the exact iOS version, but ever since connecting my iPhone to iTunes, my phone isn't responding so I can't check the settings or anything.) I can't download any apps (I get an error message saying the software on my phone is too old) and so I pretty much am extremely limited to what I can do on this phone. I'm very frustrated at this point and incredibly displeased with Apple's products.

If you have a 3G you cannot update beyond iOS 4.2.1. The 3G is over 4 years old an was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You need the latest ios to run the latest versions of some apps. If you have a 3GS you can update.
If your phone is not responding, reset it by pressing and holding down both the home button ad lock/ sleep button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. -

Since the iOS7 mandatory update I have not been able to download new apps via my iPad mini or by connecting the device to my computer. Apps on my mini also force close frequently, specifically Gmail, Candy Crush, and Facebook. Any advice?
I have long since fixed the problem by resetting my iPad, but I wanted you to know that my question was not vague. I could not download anything directly to my iPad or by syncing it to my computer. No detail required; it just didn't work. This surprised me since everyone raves about how great Apple products are. Might as well have bought a Surface.
Also, force closes continue to be a problem for me. Resetting seems to be the only solution for this, too. I just hold he Home button and the Capture button until the apple appears then it boots up again. -

I downloaded an app Genieo to run a video in wp3, now I can't get rid ot. It has taken over my firefox home page, and when I try to delete it from applications, the trash says it cant be deleted because it is in use. I have unlocked it in get info and tried to delete but same message.
Genieo does not play videos. It's an adware app. Sounds like you tried to download something from a shady site that redirected you to Genieo instead of to the (probably fake) app you were trying to download. You need to be more cautious about this sort of thing... where you download apps from is increasingly important these days! There are a lot of scams out there.
As for removal, Strawb268 has you covered... just please, please follow those instructions very carefully, in order, without skipping steps or skimming over anything! I've had a rash of people following those instructions incorrectly and bricking their computers lately. It's fixable, but a pain in the butt. -
I'm trying to download new apps and I keep getting a loading sign

Ever since I was with my iPad in France, it goes to the French app store instead of to the Netherlands' one. As a consequence, I am unable to download any app. Not in France, because my bank account number is Dutch (it says), not in the Nteherlands because I should buy in the Dutch app stoe.
How to get rid of this problem? I regularly travel from the Netherlands to France.

I have a resident program auto-updater that I do not trust and want to get rid of
Since a while I see a black icon in my ribbon with exec in top left corner. It automatically starts and stays resident every time I boot and in Force Stop I see the program is called auto-updater. But I cannot find any trace of it anywhere on my Mac. As my Mac is behaving strangely lately, I suspect this ghost program to be malware and part of my Mac problems.
