Can't download Ccleaner/Piriform. Is this a Firefox issue or Yahoo?

I don't think this is Firefox, I have IE and it still won't work. I go onto my Homepage and type in "Ccleaner/Piriform" A list of them come up. I pick the 'official' page for them, but when I try to download it, or whatever you call it (clicking on it?) All I get is a blank page with the 'little wheel' spinning, but it never downoads. Tried several others and ended up getting a hacker "Trivio" (Big mess) cleared that, but can't get Ccleaner at all. When I click the "Home" it flashes on for a second then disappears and Home comes up.
I need something to clear my History. Thank you.

You can clear the history in Firefox via "History > Clear Recent History" or in the Library (Show All History).
You can delete the places.sqlite files if there are problems.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

Did you remove both older Flash plugins and installed the latest version of the Flash plugin.

Can't download any apps in CC, using Firefox, Win7

try with Chrome don't work

As I said before, I've try with Chrome, IExplorer, different location
(web connection) and still doesn't work. I'm able to download several
files, movies, software from other site, but it's seem like Adobe dont
work. I'm not using any of my 30 day's free Creative Cloud membership
and until I could use it I dont want to loose time on the 30 days.
Is there any other options ?

I.E. keeps trying to download after I use my browser is this a Firefox issue?

While using Firefox I go to my home page at MSN for my emails and Internet Explorer tries to download each time and I have to delete the download before it starts. Is this a Firefox issue or MSN?

Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.

It downloads version 4.1 - but does not install it and always shows this as Firefox 4.0 - Yahoo edition. Moreover the tabs open when I close firefox do not open when I start next.

Then un-install that Yahoo branded version and install the official version.

In firefox Google opens as Netherlands. in internet explorer google comes up correctly as USA. Is this a Firefox issue?

What happens when you try? Check at the top of the browser window to see if you have a message bar displayed there. You may have security settings enabled that block file downloads without specific permission.

Yeah I get that too...It's a bug that started after installing Internet Explorer 8 in Windows XP Professional Edition 32 bit with only Service Pack 2. This results in inability to install Adobe Flash Player. When you click on install Adobe Flash Player, instead of saying the usual "Install ActiveX Control" in the yellow bar at the top it says "Internet Explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled." I'm thinking maybe install SP3? It's kicking into addons disabled mode when I start the browser. It's almost definitely because of an error with something called Direct Access Component 1.0.0.1, I have no idea what that is and it tells me I need to run a diagnostic on it. However, when I click on run the diagnostic like it tells me to, it says I must upgrade to SP3. Anyone know how to fix this Access Component error?

I have used Cometbird as my internet browser for almost a year, but a few friends told me that Firefox is better, so I downloaded Firefox to give it a try. This forces me to ask two questions -> #1) Why would Firefox make available an add-on labeled, "download helper" that doesn't download anything? ....... #2) Why would Firefox not include the option to download videos from websites? ------- The internet was invented for the sole purpose of sharing information; The only way to retrieve this information is to download it; The most popular form of information downloaded is videos; Yet, with Firefox, the ability to perform the most widely used method, of the most popular form of entertainment, is not included with its internet browser. This would be comparable to a grocery store not selling bread, milk or eggs. Please explain.......

I use Safari, and when I right-mouse click on some videos, there will be an option to download.

I can't download any external programs.It used to work fine before.I had downloaded skype few months ago and then it suddenly dissapeared.When i tried to download firefox,chrome,skype etc it downloads as .dmg extension.I drag it to applications folder.Nothing happens after that,can see the download but w/o the logo of skype etc.I followed one suggestion..went to library>preferences>deleted the .psp lock file>emptied trash>downloaded skype again but still the same.
Could it be security issue?Mine is a pre owned mac bought 3 months ago.I have now registered the serial no and apple id and transferred to my name.

A .dmg file is a disk image file. If you double-click it, it will mount and look like a hard drive is attached.
Once you've mounted the disk image, you should see either an application that you drag to your Applications folder or an installation app. Just follow the instructions and the app you've downloaded will be installed.

Simple. They don't have games pre-installed and none that you can download (without hacking).. but there are many web based games and tools to choose from. I can't believe this whole thread is about what you can and can not say on these forums and what will or will not brick your iPhone.

I also am getting this message. I bought my 15" mac book pro mid 2010 and at the same time purchased iWork. It is not showing in my purchases on Apple ID, I have never changed my Apple ID since purchase. Why would my Apps not show. There are some there but mostly free ones. I checked it under the Store menu after signing in.
After upgrading from Mountain Lion to Yosemite my iPhoto, iMovie, Keynote,Pages and Numbers need to update. But I get this message.
