Can't download extra maps.N9

hi, i don't manage to download extra maps with my N9.Wi Fi is fine and the online mode in the maps software as wel does anyone hase the same issue ? Any idea to solve this?

Hi borismarinov,
Because common folders are used to store different map files, u will be prompted by your PC to allow u to merge all the files into the same folders, if not then it will not work!
For example, the maps for country say France will be held in folders 0-9 (for example).
And the maps for Spain also held in folders 0-9.
If u want both France and Spain, then u need to put all the maps in the same 0-9 folders (which is when your PC ask u if it is ok to merge the files with the same folder names).
If u are concern, pls take a backup copy of your current folders.
If anything does go wrong (it happens, but rarely) then u can restore your backups on your phone.
R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
Whoever you are and whereever you are, just ask and I will try my best to help...
If u find my replies useful, pls click on WHITE STAR in GREEN Rectangle on the left to replace the '0' with a '1'

Can I download Power Map GA version without "Preview" ?
I want to use GA version's Power Map.
I already installed Microsoft Office 2013 Service Pack 1.
"Power Map for Excel, a 3D visualization tool for mapping, exploring, and interacting with geographical and temporal data in Excel, is now available to Office 365 ProPlus subscription

You need to disable the old com object first. Under File/Options/Add-Ins/Manage/Com objects/Go... disable the preview and enable the new Com object. After you made this change create a new power map and it will ask you to remove the old
    version.

  • How can I download the mapping from a transformation ?

    Hello gurus,
Is there a posibility to download the mapping between the source Fields and the InfoObjects from a transformation? We have some transformations with lots of mappings and we want to have it in excel. In the transformation there is just a download option and that is in JPG (picture) and there is not what we want. In MetadataRepository I couldn't find the transformation.
    Any sugestions?
    Thanks,
    Ramona

    Hi Ramona,
To see a transformation in Metadata Repository, you can follow this steps:
    1) Go to "Metadata Repository" in RSA1 transaction.
    2) Click on "Local objects" (the one which is placed below "Activated objects").
    3) Click on "Transformation".
    4) Press CTRL+F.
    5) Paste the transformation technical name on the search field and click "Next".  (You can copy it from RSA1 "Modeling" section).
    6) It will take you to the transformation row, where you can click on the corresponding hyperlink.
    7) Finally, you get a screen with the following details:
      a) Source Field name
      b) Description
      c) Data Type
      d) Length
      e) Rule Type
      f) Target InfoObject
      g) Description
      h) InfoObject Type
      i) Length
    8) Then, if necessary, you can copy and paste it in a Word document or Excel sheet.
    I hope this helps you.

  • How can I download UK map data in advance over Wifi

I need to be able to download UK map data in Apple maps, for cycling navigation. How can I achieve this? Thanks

    You can't.
Use an alternative navigation app from the AppStore that works without a data connection and downloads map data in advance.

  • How can I download Blackberry Maps in my 8800?

It appears that my Blackberry 8800 device did not come with the pre-loaded Blackberry Maps, as I cannot activate the Maps (GPS) or find the Maps in the Service Book list. Is it possible to download the Maps into my phone? If so, how do I do it? I contacted my service provider (Thailand) and its technician advised me to wipe out the device and reinstall the applications from the CD rom included in the product package. I am wondering if there is an easier way to download the Blackberry Maps. Please advise.

Hello RtawaiSteve and selcome to the forums!
You should be able to get the maps application on yoru device by going to the below link from your device
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/devices/features/blackberry_maps.jsp#tab_tab_overview
Once you are on the page you should see a Download BlackBerry Maps now option.

  • Can you download extra templates for Pages?? If so, is there a template for 4x6 inch index cards??

I am working on finiding a program that will allow me to type index cards for use in my school studing. And so I was wondering if pages has a template for 4x6 inch index cards?? If not can I download one?? And where can I download one?

    Hi a,
The 'template' would be essentially a Custom Page size, set in the Page Setup dialogue.
Go File (menu) > Page Setup... to open the dialogue.
Click the popup menu beside Paper Size, and look for 4x6. If offered a choice, use the one not labeled "borderless". Borderless printing (on my printer) generates 'black' using mostly the three colour ink cartridge—costlier, and less 'black' than the results from the Black cartridge.
If 4 x 6 or 6 x 4 is not available, look for 'Manage Custom Sizes' or similar at the bottom of the list.
Once you have the page set, you can set tabs, type size and font as you wish, place text boxes (if that will help your card organization) and set other features as you wish, then Save the result as a Template.
Saved as a Template, the new template will be available in the My Templates section of the Template Chooser.
    Regards,
    Barry

Open Maps on phone and click on the spanner icon-->Internet-->Online and come back to menu..wait for about a minute and then close the application.. Now connect the phone again to PC and try downloading the Maps data thru' OVI Suite as you tried before..

Firstly, I can't open iPhoto on my macbook as of a few days and could it have anything to do with a problem I have updating my iPhone's software as I've downloaded extra iCloud storage but I still can't get the iPhone to recognise the space for software

No. With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a potential solution.  We can't see your computer so we need to know the details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
what do you see when iPhoto opens?
    what fixes have you tried?
    where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
    what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?
For the iPhone issue ask in the iPhone forum.

  • Where can I download maps of other countries?

    I just bought a Nokia 6260 Slide ( http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/6260_slide )
I bought it in Singapore and it has maps of Singapore and Malaysia installed, however, I will be heading to Hong Kong soon and I need to download a map of Hong Kong so that my phone can help me navigate my way around.
Where can I downloada map of Hong Kong making sure it works and road names are in english as well?
    Cheers

    Hi,
there is a Map Loader for mac available from the maps site.
    http://europe.nokia.com/explore-services/maps/download-maps/map-loader
I dont know if it will work with Ovi Maps (Maps 3.0) though.
Although i work for Nokia, my opinions are my own!

I'm on my iPad, so I don't know if this is the page with an actual download. I don't see a button, but assume that is because I  am on an iPad. It is in the DL section of Apple downloads.
