Can't download iTunes 11,1 since iOS 7,0

I can't download Itunes 11,1 on my computer since i installed ios 7,0 on my ipad.  Also some apps don't work properly on my ipad.

One has nothing to do with the other.
iTunes 11.x was required if you wanted to use iTunes and update an iPad.
I'd look in iTunes and iPad forums.

    Hi mike,
Seems like a frustrating problem! Try restarting your device, and trying again. If that doesn't work, in settings, under store, tap your apple id at the bottom of the page, and then sign out. Sign back in again, and try again.
Also, check you have enough remaining space on your iPad for the app you want to download, you can do this in settings, then general, then usage.
I also reccomend buying the app in iTunes on your computer, and then syncing it to your device.
Let me know how you get on, and I'll get back to you with further help if needed,
    Nathan

What did iTunes Support say when you contacted them ? If it's been more than 48 hours since you contacted them and you haven't had a reply then contact them again.
If you haven't yet contacted them, then to do so :
    - go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww
    - click on your country's flag
    - click on the Contact Support at the bottom of the left-hand column
    - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
    - then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Can't download itunes because haven't got access to support key

I can;t download itunes because I don't have access to support key.

Sorry, that was just a test to make sure that the only thing that needs to be done is fix that registry key problem, however it still needs fixing. If you reboot you'll find that the iPad is no longer picked up.
    Try this:
    1. Please triple-click on the relevant block of text below to select it and then press CTRL+C to copy it.
    32-bit system
    cmd /k REG ADD HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run /v iTunesHelper /t REG_SZ /d "\"C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe\""
    64-bit system
    cmd /k REG ADD HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run /v iTunesHelper /t REG_SZ /d "\"C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe\""
    2. Press the WinLogoKey+R to open the Run... dialog.
    3. Paste the text into the box with CTRL+V and then press enter/return. Overwrite the value if prompted.
If there is an error please post back the exact text.
Should you get an "Access denied" error and you know your way around Regedit you could take a look at the current permissions of the Run key and make sure that you have Full Control. This is what I see...
I have full control since my standard login is a member of the Administrators group which has full control.

  • Can I download itunes with a Windows 8.1 operating system?

how can I download itunes for windows 8.1 operating system?

You can add a tile for iTunes to the start screen in Win 8.1 but it will still (and I suspect will for the indefinite future) run as a desktop application.  Metro apps are more like those on smartphones ... all Microsoft's major software products (Office, Visio, etc.) all run on the desktop even though the latest releases post-date Windows 8.
I can't see any motivation for Apple to change iTunes for as long as Microsoft continue to have desktop support in Windows (which, unless they want to alienate all their enterprise customers, they must do for at least the next decade).  Likewise support for Windows RT (which I suspect is dying, given that MS didn't release a Surface 3 in parallel with the Pro 3) or Windows Phone is going to be very low on Apple's priority list given the direct competition with iOS devices.

  • How can I download itunes for my generation 1 ipad

What apps still work for my generation 1 ipad? How can I download iTunes for my generation 1 ipad?

No one is developing applications for iPad 1 devices that are stuck on IOS 5. A compatible IOS Apple iTunes App Store is no longer available. A synchronization via iTunes 12.0.1 to my iPad 1 basically refuses to load almost all applications because newer versions of these applications require IOS 7 and IOS 8 for installation.
Time to get a more recent iPad that can run IOS 8 (or later).

Pretty sure there never was iTunes 4.2.1 and if there was, it did not work with the iPod touch (any version).
    Do you mean iOS 4.2.1?
new version doesn't sync with my ipod :/
    What does/doesn't happen?

  • New ASUS computer and can't download itunes

I bought a new ASUS computer and can't download itunes. I keep getting an error 2 message and to uninstall itunes and reinstall it. I've done this three times and it doesn't correct the problem. Also, says I need apple support to run it. Don't know what to do since my family has four iphones we'd like to sync.

Thanks for you attn on this topic.
Disabling McAfee didn't help, but I found something that did. There's a web site that has all the older versions of the iTunes software. I tried the one at the top of the list and all went as it should. We're up and running now,
    albeit with slightly outdated software.
    Thanks,

  • Still can't download iTunes 11.1

Hi guys... i just downloaded iOS 7 for my iPhone5 and now can't download iTunes 11.1 for my MacBook Air OS X (10.7.4). After clicking download button, it redirects me to the Thank You page.
    Anybody got same problem?
I know from current discussion that the Apple server seemed to be very busy on Sept 18th while million of users are downloading at the same time (maybe). But today is Sept 22nd. Any clue that the problem still persists?
pls... I can't sync my devices and have lot's work to do before Monday.
    thanks for help guys...

    Hi,
Did you try in the App Store app of your Mac and search for upgrades? iTunes should appear there.
If not, I'd suggest you to clear all cookies from Safari and try again or try to download from a different browser you may have installed.
    Hope that helps.

  • Can't download iTunes 11.1

Keep getting following error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1102.)(102)

I can't download itunes 11,1 on my Mac which affects the use of my ipad.
What happens when you try? Your mac should be compatible with iTunes 11.1, since you are running MacOS X 10.8.5.

  • I can not download Itunes Windows7 I keep Getting Error2 Windows error2

I CAN NOT download itunes for windows 7 -I Have already removed all apple from my programs -I keep getting Error2 Windows Error 2 ---- Why do they do updates that SCREW up what I've already Had Since 2010 ?????????????????? HOW DO I FIX THIS ????

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version):
    http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, see if iTunes will launch without the error now.
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • Can i download  itunes on mircosoft surface, can i download  itunes on mircosoft surface

can i download itune  on microsoft surface

If it's a Surface Pro, you might be able to do it since the Pro has an Intel processor and a more-or-less standard version of Windows 8, though trying to use iTunes with a touch interface might be cumbersome. If it's the normal Surface, then no, you can't.

  • Can not download iTunes Match songs on my Mac. iPhone, iPad work fine.

I can not download iTunes Match songs on my Mac. It gives an error stating that only one Apple ID can be used at a time with iTunes Match and asks me to wait 72 days until I can download any songs!? Tried to turn off iTunes Match in an attempt to reset it. And now I can't turn it back on. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm pretty sure the songs will need to be physically present on the computer you are syncing the Nano with, but I'm not 100% sure.
Edit: I just attempted to sync music that I have stored in the iCloud, but not written on my harddrive to an iPod Classic and it only syncs the music that is present on the computer. I tried to grab a few iCloud file and throw it on the iPod, but I had to download them before it would work.
So, yes. You do have to have the files already downloaded to sync to a non iOS 5 iDevice.
