Can't download itunes on netbook. someone please help!!!

every time i click download itunes a little window appears and then it says internet explorer has stopped working then i close the program and then it just goes to another page that says thank you for downloading itunes. even though it didn't download anything. can someone please help me with this problem.

Not all content types are available in all countries, and unfortunately where you are you will only have apps, podcasts, iTunes U and free books - the full list of what is available where is shown on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3599 . As the terms of use of the stores state that you can only use your own country's store, you also can't get music or films from Apple from other country's stores.
Are there other music and/or film purchase download sites that you can use in the UAE ? For music you can also copy your own CDs and sync them to the iPad

If Facetime is not present on the phone you have, you cannot download it. The model of phone you purchased cannot have Facetime on it, period.
There is nothing to be done to download it - it's not possible.

Ever since I donwloaded the latest itunes version I haven't been able to open my itunes. I've tired safe mode and still nothing, I've also tried dleting itunes and re-installing, no help, And finally I removed itunes genius folder from itunes and still nothing. Normally you would use "Bluetooth File Exchange" on the Mac to send files to the phone. However, according to the specifications of this phone, it's Bluetooth support is crippled to just 'object push for vCard only'. This means the phone will only accept Contact data via Bluetooth, not MP3 files.

Can't Unistall iTunes or Quicktime! Please HELP!

We have used iTunes for a couple of years now and haven't had any problems until I bought my daughter an iPod Nano. The iPod requires iTunes 7 which I downloaded and tried to install but an error keeps coming up that I don't have sufficient privileges to "iPod Services" so I thought I would try to uninstall iTunes and Quicktime and then reinstall them, but when I go into the Add/Remove feature from the Control Panel and click on remove, it does nothing! And Quicktime isn't even listed in the Add/Remove section so I went to Quicktime in the "all programs" menu and tried to uninstall Quicktime from there and it tells me that Quicktime isn't installed, which is weird because it's listed in the "all programs" menu. Can anyone help me. My daughter is totally bummed because she hasn't been able to do anything with the ONLY present that she wanted for Christmas. I am running Windows XP Service Pack 2. Any help would truly be appreciated. THANK YOU!!

I have a similar problem, no ones seems to understand how iTunes 7 works when you had previous versions installed. Surprised you don't get them uninstalled, my XP control panel function did that part OK. I guess you can always manually delete the files but this may leave registry issues behind.

Every time I try launchin iTunes, I get an error message telling me I have quicktime version "7.0d0" installed and that I need version 7.0.3.
I reinstalled quicktime, now it's version 7.1, reinstalled itunes twice, nothing works..
does anybody know what to do? support won't help me as I bought my ipod over 90 days ago...

let's try another careful QT 7.1 reinstall, this time taking a few additional explicit precautions.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
Quicktime 7.1 Installers … get the one that doesn’t mention itunes 6
if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

Iphone software problems in itunes!! someone please help me!

For some reason when I go to load the newest iphone software through itunes, it keeps exceeding the download... the new update says its 152.3 MB, but once it reaches that amount, it just keeps on going! 217 + MB and more,, until it stops and times out... why does this happen? or how if that? its only a 152.3 MB download,..how could it possibly keep going? I'm lost and all I want is my WIFI itunes on the iphone..but this update is not working for me and its frustrating..heres a screen shot of what i see.

Apparently that's happened a few times to people, including myself.
If you cancel the download, delete it, and then go back to the Summary page and hit "Check for Updates" it should start again with no problems and finish correctly.

Getting Hot! Can't download iTune 7 & Apple is not helping me

Just got off the phone with Apple Support and he seemed pretty unwilling to help. Added a little "comment" about my "PC". Here's the problem. My boys and daughter have iPod Videos and Nanos and we have iTunes on the computer. Never had any problems so far. I just got an iPod Video and it asks for the new version iTune 7. Every time I go to download the new version, I get an "Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file C:\Windows\Installer\iTunes.msi" I'm getting pretty irritated with this "new" version of iPod. Any useful help would much appreciated. your computer/OS and not Apple. However, it's likely
not difficult to fix.

Most likely, you just need to run the Windows
Installer Cleanup Utility that is linked to in the
article to clean up corrupt installer software
entries for iTunes in your OS.

Thanks for the support. I went through most of the steps in the article you listed, but it was your support and suggestion to use the Windows Utility Clean-Up Program that finally got my download working. My Norton firewall warned me that this program was a HIGH RISK, but after I verified it was genuine and went ahead and downloaded it, the new iTunes7 loaded right up. Thanks for your candor with my frustration and sharing the needed info. Kudos to you.

The automatic updater threw an error when I tried to update iTunes and Quick Time today.
It said: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." about both a "iTunes 64.msi" file and a "Quick Time.msi" file.
Solutions to this problem after google searching were to completely uninstall and reinstall iTunes and Quick Time using Microsoft Fix-it (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3704). I tried this and Microsoft Fix-it just loaded forever and wouldn't stop so I tried using Windows Installer Cleanup which was mentioned in a discussion (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4753469?start=0&tstart=0). I was able to uninstall iTunes with this program but Quick Time didn't show up.
Now after trying to reinstall iTunes from the apple website it says "Could not open key: UNKNOWN/Components/[string of letters&numbers]/[string of letters&numbers] Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel."
What is this and how do I fix it?
I just want to get iTunes and Quick Time back to normal...

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
