Can't Download Magazines from Newstand on mini Ipad

I can't download magazines from Newstand on mini ipad. I used to be able to up to about 3months ago. It is not a problem with my account as I am able to download the subscribed magazines on the normal ipad. It is just with the mini ipad that i seem to have issues. I have tried reinstalling the subscribed magazines and logging in/out but to no avail. The wifi is always on so i don't think that is the problem. i have checked all software upgrades on my mini ipad and nothing is outstanding. have written to Magster support several times but they are unable to help. Does anyone have a similar problem?

Try logging out in Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > sign out and do a reset
Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data.
Log back in and make sure you have access to the Internet via Wi-Fi, try again.

Either by syncing thorugh your computer. Loading it to your comptuer and e-mailing it to yourself - an email you open on the iPad, or by purchasing the camera connection kid (presuming you have an SD card), and transferring them that way

iTunes cannot be downloaded to an iPad. iTunes on an iPad is already preinatalled so there's no need to download it, and on the iPad its the store access. The icon looks like this:

The film will need to be downloaded in order to watch it, you can't stream it from the store. Whether you can re-download a film will depend upon what country that you are in and whether it remains in the store (studios occasionally remove them). You are better off keeping your own backup copy of all of your downloads rather that relying on being able to re-download from the store in the future (you can copy purchases from your iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases)

You can also get wifi-enabled drives which allow you to stream your content to your iPad, so not everything needs to be stored on it e.g. GoFlex Satellite (there are other makes as well).

There is no way that 5 CD's should be eating up all of the storage on your iPad. But if you have a ton of games on the iPad, they can take up a lot of space. But you can check your available space in Setrings>General>Usage>Storage.

What kind of apps are you trying to download? How are you trying to download them? Are you having trouble going from computer to iPad (as the title says) or into the computer (as your post says)?

I go to films in iTunes and click on buy and nothing happens, when I re click on the buy button it tells me that I have already purchased the film but it has not downloaded and to manage it in the downloads file but there is nothing there. Please can someone help.

I have only downloaded one feature length film on my iPad and I did it at home using my home WiFi network. It went flawlessly and took about 90 minutes to download a 1.64 GB movie.
Maybe it was an authorization issue with your iPad. iTunes can get hinky about that kind of thing - especially with app downloads. Maybe connecting the iPad to your computer reset your iTunes authorization and let the movie start downloading again. I know that sounds bizarre but it can occur with third party apps that will not open. One of the common fixes is to download another app in order to reset your iTunes account authorization.
You should be able to see the download progress bar as the movie is downloading. My response was worded the way that it was because I didn't know if you started the download and left the iPad sitting somewhere for a few hours and when you came back - all you saw was the terms and downloads screen.

You can use it on XP, as long as you have service pack 3+ on it - from http://www.apple.com/ipad-air/specs/ :

You also need iTunes 11.1+ installed on your computer.
To sync music, connect the iPad and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (on iTunes 11 you can enable the sidebar via control-S on a PC), and then use the Music tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select which of your iTunes music library to sync to it.

The iPad 1 can't run the newer operating systems. It'd be like trying to play a bluray disc in your 6 year old dvd player....it simply lacks the hardware to make the software run.
No suggestion about the camera, but given that Apple's attitude seems to be to focus more on the more mobile devices for photography (the iPhone and Touch cameras got features, the iPad and mini didn't), that is highly unlikely. You can tell Apple what you want, but you'd probably be money ahead to get a digital camera.
as to the photos, anything put on via iTunes has to come off via iTunes.Your main alternative would be to look for photo apps that offer file exchange that may give you more functionality.

Can't download Pages from iCloud

I have started uploading Pages documents to my iCloud.com account. This worked fine until I wanted to download one. The Download option is greyed out on all Pages documents. Following some suggestions, I have enabled iCloud Data & Documents, but I can't download these from the iCloud browser.
Some have suggested opening these up in the Pages app on my iPad first. I don't see how to open these from within the iPad Pages app. I can see all of the Pages docs stored in iWork.com Beta. Also my iDisk or WebDav. No iCloud. What part of the future of document storage am I missing?

OK, here's a screenshot from my iPad.
The documents on the screen are shared from iCloud, when I tap the + button I don't get an option to create an iCloud document either, it just creates a document like all the others on the page which then syncs to all other devices.
I guess what you are saying is that the documents you upload from the mac to iCloud aren't on the iPad desktop like mine.
