Can't download music because ""File seems to be corrupt.''

In the past 24 hours I have attempted to download 3 songs from iTunes, but get this message: ""The file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose ""Check for Purchases'' from the store menu.'' When I do that, the same message comes back again and again. iTunes has already sent me a receipt and charged me for the downloands, yet I haven't actually received them. Any suggestions/explanations?

the same thing has happened to me. i tried to download the same song 2 days ago and i was charged but when i try to download it it gives me that notice. my sister said that happened to her and you have to repurchase the song but its not really fare because you have to purchase the song twice.

I met the same problem before. Try "Real Download" instead of your current download manager which is strongly recommended by sun.

I just downloaded Itunes 7, I have an ipod mini. I was purchasing music, but when it starts to download it says
The was a problem down loading... An unknown error occured (-208)
Is there a way to get my music now, i don't know at all what to do PLEASE help me. If it helps any I have dial-up, which *****, but whatever, i can make due if i can just get this music.

Meggers, here are some instructions from regular forum poster, Da Gopha, on how to do a "clean uninstall" of iTunes. Please follow them exactly as a simple add/remove program will not get rid of everything associated with iTunes & Quicktime. Just doing an add/remove may leave little bits & pieces of both programs present on the hard drive that may foul up a new installation.
When you are doing the new installation, make sure you disable all anti-virus, firewalls, spyware, etc before the install as these things can cause problems. Once the installation is complete, you can turn all off your protection back on. Hope this helps.

I purchased a song through iTunes and am trying to download it on my PC. The song tries to download 4 TIMES, then displays an ERROR MESSAGE that THE SONG COULD NOT BE DOWNLOADED. THE FILE SEEMS TO BE CORRUPT. RETURN TO THE "CHECK FOR AVAILABLE DOWNLOADS" IN THE STORE MENU. I have done this several times. NO CHANGE, ALWAYS THE SAME ERROR MESSAGE. What do I do next. If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.

I'm trying to download an album i purchased but i'm constantly getting the message "There was a problem downloading X. The file seems to be corrupted" for every song I try to download. Also if i try to stream the song it says "This computer is not authorized to play X. Would you like to authorize it". But my computer is already authorized and when I try to authorize it again, it says this computer is already authorized.
I've tried downloading them through the purchased section of the store (which causes itunes to crash 50% of the time) with no luck. I've also reinstalled itunes. This only started happening once I installed the latest version of itunes.
Any help would be appreciated

It seems the downloaded setup for InDesign has got corrupt.
Could you please clear the TEMP from your computer and then retry.

No. You can only music to your iPhone from one computer at a time. If you try to load music onto it from a 2nd computer, it will erase the current content on the iPhone and replace it with whats in the iTunes library you are connected to,

Can't download movie-says "file corrupted"-will not let me delete download-now what?

I ordered a movie some months ago and downloaded both the HD and standard versions. A duplicate of both downloads appeared in the Download portion of my account. I tried several ways to delete these but was unable so I then tried to proceed with the duplicate downloads (just to get them off the que). I was finally able to download the standard version of the movie but when I tried to download the HD version it got almost all the way through (after 3 hours of Pause/Resume) then quit because the file was corrupted! How can I resolve this problem? I don't want this duplicate version anyway. After searching through every source of info I could I am no closer to a solution. I am operating on a Windows laptop and have current iTunes version. I unfortunately will need very basic instructions as I am in no way computer savvy. Any ideas would be very appreciated! Thanks.

I was receiving the same error message yesterday, which said There was a problem downloading "The Song Name / Album / Artist". The file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose "Check for Available Downloads" from the Store menu. The file tries to download five times before this error message appears.
I too, tried to find the file and delete it, but it was no where to be found.
So I gave up for that moment and tried again today and I was able to successfully download the file. Amazing how that works!!!

How can I download Adobe Proto files as a zip?

I was wondering why I can only download Adobe Proto files as file type "Proto/.pro" I read that it would be possible to download a zip of the original via Creative Cloud giving me the css, jquery etc. of the wireframe.
It would be great if someone could help me out and let me know how it's done as I have no use for ".pro" files..

Hey Lumina710, Welcome to the Nokia Forums!
Im afraid if you are looking to put video or music content on your Lumia 710 you will have to download the files onto your PC and transfer them accross using Zune software. However you can still stream content rather than download it.
You can also purchase music in the Marketplace application.

BTW, have you already tried signing into your account in the email+accounts? Are you also getting the same error message? Does it happen regardless of the connection you are using?

Sorry, that was just a test to make sure that the only thing that needs to be done is fix that registry key problem, however it still needs fixing. If you reboot you'll find that the iPad is no longer picked up.
Try this:
1. Please triple-click on the relevant block of text below to select it and then press CTRL+C to copy it.
32-bit system

If there is an error please post back the exact text.
Should you get an "Access denied" error and you know your way around Regedit you could take a look at the current permissions of the Run key and make sure that you have Full Control. This is what I see...
I have full control since my standard login is a member of the Administrators group which has full control.

If you mean such file, then Yes. I just download them and open with an app like “OfficeSuite” or “Polaris Office for” (There are problems with charts(graphics), but "data tables" seems to be “simplified” but all OK).
When I try to upload (“drag and drop” from PC to tablet), I have a warning on PC “that this file would be not compatible”. Just click on "Yes" to copy file.
Anyway, there’re many other “xls file reader” apps.

Just wanted to know can you download music from a Mac to the GS3?

If you are using iTunes (an assumption on my part because you are using a Mac) transferring music becomes more difficult. If the music doesn't have iTunes typical DRM protection, you should be able to drag and drop songs to a music folder on your phone after plugging into your computer. If everything is exclusively in iTunes, there is also an app in the Play Store called Double Twist that I've heard works really well (never used it personally) and even has a wireless sync mode.
