Can't download music to iPhone

I'm unable to download music on to my iPhone. I got it back in December and had it hooked up to a different computer. I ended up getting rid of that one so I'm trying to hook it up to a new computer. Went okay. I have previously had an older ipod set up with this computer but got rid of it several years ago. So all my music I have on my iPhone currently is not in a library it's in a seperate section called "On this iPhone". So I have new music I would like to add and  I'm just unable. I know this is probably really confusing but I'm unable to sync my new music onto my iPhone.

The iphone will sync with one computer at a time. If you sync to another it will erase the current content from the iphone.

    No. You can only music to your iPhone from one computer at a time.  If you try to load music onto it from a 2nd computer, it will erase the current content on the iPhone and replace it with whats in the iTunes library you are connected to,

    it´s easy
    connect the iphone4 to the mac
    itunes open automatic, or you start itunes
    start snc photos, click on tab photos and mark photos to snc
    click apply
    thats it.
    on the end  the dialog to delete photos on the iphone ist you choice...yes or no.
    that works so fine.
    look that you have installed the latest version of your iphone4 firmeware and also the itunes version.

    You would need to buy a new operating system (Snow leopard 10.6.x, or higher).
    Before doing that, it would be best to check to see if your Mac can run the higher operating system.
    Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac", then "More Info..." Copy and paste the information into a reply here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).

    Sync all the devices to the same computer.
    If you do not want her apps, then simply do not select them to sync to your device.
    Each device will only sync what you select to sync.

    Sure.  First you have to downlad and install iTunes (Apple - iTunes - Download iTunes Now), then import your music into your iTunes library.  Then connect your phone to your computer, when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar click on its name, go to the Music tab to the right and check Sync music, then sync your phone by clicking the Sync button on the bottom right.  You might also want to spend some time looking through the manual:  iPhone User Guide (For iOS 5.1 Software).

    If the music you are wanting to have on your iphone was purchased through itunes you can then go to your front display to settings>itunes and app store from there you have a toggled switch that allows you to automatically download music and apps by toggling the switch. You will need to toggle the switch below these switchs that allows for cellular data to be enabled if this has not already been enabled. This then will automatically download music and apps directly to your device with no additional charge to you.
