Can't download plug-in

when i download a video file i get a message saying that safari cannot find the internet plug-in. when i try to download the plug-in i get a message saying that flip4mac WMV cannot be installed on this computer... it also says that it cannot be installed on intel-based hardware and i know that i have the intel chip in my mac. is there any other downloads for me to download this plug-in so i can view videos?

ok. i am probably the biggest computer noob in the world but i have to ask...... how in the unholy name of lucifer do i get safari to run under rosetta. this is wat ive done so far and i have had no improvement to getting quicktime to show me videos....
first i found out the problem when i tried to view sum videos from gamespot. i got a message that said this exactly...

then i opened the page to find the plug-in and downloaded flip4mac but got another message saying this exactly....

after coming across this problem i put an entry to this discussion group and was given a link to help me. i installed WMV and quicktime under rosetta but i still get a message saying this exaclty....

it just takes me back to where i was before. did i download the wrong plug-in? is there sum other downloads i need to view videos? is my WMV not fully installed or not working at all? i cannot open the WMV preferance pane so i cannot make changes to settings. did i do sumthing terribly wrong? im so terribly and miserably confused...... i think imma go kill myself soon. i am learning very easily to hate computers. Plz help me.

When you browse to Computer is your CF card shown as a removable drive?
If not try shutting down the computer and re-starting and then inserting the CF card or plugging in the USB again.
Open Elements Organizer and press Ctrl+G to bring up the downloader and under Source click refresh to locate your CF card.

I tried to hear a conference call on a website. Got a message, needed windows media plug in. Checked my plug ins, no windows media. Read tutorial on firefox support. Clicked on download. Got a window that asked for repair or change. Tried repair, then change. Need better directions on how to finish download. solved by opening internet explorer and going to website and listening to conference call on windows media player. There was a message saying click here if you want to enable media player. Did so, heard conference.
Tried using chrome. Got to hear conference yesterday. Today, there was same message about needing plug in when I tried to follow instructions to get plug in, it was as confusing and useless as firefox. The bottom line is I tried to do everything set forth in firefox's forum suggestions and can't get the windown media plug in to show up in my list of plug ins and can't hear conference calls on firefox.
Chrome did say they were working on getting plug in available at chrome store.
I agree with comments that I was able to go to web sites and hear calls before firefox made an update that removed my windows media plug in. The simple download fix, presumeably from windows, does not work, apparently because firefox can't find the fix. That is not the user's fault, and it looks like windows tried to provide a fix, and firefox won't recognize it.
Bottom line, it is easier to use another browser, than try and get the windows media player plug in installed on firefox. What good is a browser, if you can't hear a call on the website that the browser takes you to? Please make it easy to install the windows media plug in on firefox. Thank you..

Firefox can find plugins in several locations, but Firefox 21 changed the location of the "shared" plugin folder so older installers like the Microsoft Windows Media Plugin no longer drop the DLL file in the correct location.
There apparently are two ways to address this:
(1) Change a Firefox preference so that Firefox checks the old location. Here's how:
(i) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(ii) In the filter box, type or paste '''plugins''' and pause while the list is filtered
(iii) Double-click '''plugins.load_appdir_plugins''' to switch its value from false to true.
This will take effect after you restart Firefox.
(2) Copy the plugins folder to the new location. Here's how on Win 7 64-bit:
Open a Windows Explorer window to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
Right-click and copy the '''Plugins''' folder
Double-click the '''browser''' folder to open it
Right-click and paste
Right-click the new copy of '''Plugins''' and rename it to '''plugins'''
After restarting Firefox, the plugins in that folder should now be available.

I am currently an owner of an Ipod Touch 4th generation. I see you are having problems with your Ipod/Ipad/Iphone, so I will try to find a solution to your problem.
Hard Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds or until Apple logo appears
Make sure you have Itunes downloaded
Make sure Itunes is the latest version

1. I am running on Windows 8.1
2. When running the installer file from https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/reflow I get the following choice
I click "OK" which doesn't do anything for me (CC is off).
I turn CC on and run the installer again. I get the following window that within few settings disappears:
Then - just for half a second it says "Launching Creative Cloud desktop" and then it brings CC to front, and that's all.
RF still not there.
3. I spoke ta support agent on the Adobe chat on Friday. He looked into my computer for an hour. Uninstalled After Effects (after failing to update it). For some reason all apps disappeared from the list. They then reappeared after he opened PS.
This morning After Effects is still showing up in my system and is operational.
Weird.
4. At the end the agent suggested maybe Firewall is the problem here. Trying that out now.

Sometimes this happens, because the camera is not properly charged. In that case connect the camera to a charger or use a card reader.

Which camera make and model are your Raw files from?
Camera Raw ships with Photoshop and is constantly upgraded by Adobe to keep up with new cameras as they are released to market.
It's likely that your camera requires a version of Camera Raw which is not compatible with your CS5. Or you may simply need to upgrade Camera Raw via Help > Updates in Photoshop.

You cannot download or install any plug ins in Safari on the iPad. You can only turn on JavaScript in the Safari settings - which is different than you want to do.

The G15 was first supported by Camera Raw 7.3 (ACR7.3). ACR is the plugin which handles Raw files.

ACR 7.3 is only compatible with Elements 11 (or later) and CS6 (or later). Not Elements 9 or CS5 unfortunately.
Some options:
Upgrade to PSE 12
