Can't download programs to 2nd imac

Downloaded creative cloud to a brand new iMac and installed programs without any problem. Now trying to install on iMac at home which is currently running CS5.5. The applications manager has installed okay and the icon appears in the top bar of the screen okay but the drop down window only shows a blue wheel going round. I try to download a program and the screen goes to a 'downloading now' message but nothing happens and nothing appears the apps window. Can you help?

do you have the cc desktop app on your home computer? if not, go here and start downloading something to install that app, https://creative.adobe.com/
if you already have the app and it's not connecting to adobe.com, sign out and then back in using the exact adobe id used to subscribe to creative cloud - Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app
if you still have a connection problem after signing out and in with the correct adobe id, Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CS5.5 and later

As crazy as this sounds, this is actually the correct answer. This happened to me from 10.0.1 to 2. It wouldn't recognize the need to update (even in App store). Had to put the app itself in the trash, then log in to the AppStore account I used to purchase FCPX, and then I just downloaded the full, latest version. Installed that. Everything worked fine. I know it's a little nerve-wracking, just back up all your projects and files before (Projects and Events should remain untouched even if you put your FCPX App in the trash).

Depending where you are, there can be slow downs on the servers.
You just have to keep trying. I tried 3 times to get the Mavericks upfrade and eventually had to go to the Apple Store.
Where they gave me a copy of the previous version!

Do you mean the application Keynote or projects you have already created in Keynote on the iMac?
If it's the latter just copy the files across the network to the Air. If it's the application itself and you bought it from the Mac App Store you can legally install it on any computer registered to you (I think there is a limit, but I'm not sure how many it is). Just log on to the Mac App Store from the MacAir and download it again - you won't be charged a second time.

If you mean you purchased the movie on your Apple TV, then you will need to either download the movie in iTunes and sync it to your iPod, or, while on Wi Fi, on the iPod open the iTunes app, go to Purchased, find the movie and download it.

My imac g5 osx 10.5.8 is running slow and getting froze alot some programs just take forever. If someone knows how to remove programs safely could you please help me. I don't want to make a mistake that's unfixable. Like, i.e ( operating firefox now ,but i have a safari app. Do i need safari ? Am i even running that at all ?) Also i have 4 dvd players-imovie,dvd player,mac the ripper and front row do i need all them ?
