Can't download purchased movies to itunes on PC

Bought 3 movies in itunes (v 11,0,2,25) on my PC Windows 7 but can't download to itunes library on my PC. Have bought a couple dozen before without a problem. The message I get "There was a problem downloading. Part of the file seems to be corrupted. Check for Available Downloads from the Store Menu". When I go to Store menu and check for available download, it starts to download each one of them and each one ends without the download complete. I did download one of the movies to my iphone without a problem.

Go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Go through all the tabs to download again for free

Is it possible to Re-Download purchased movies from Itunes as I have lost the original files somehow?

You can re-download music, books, tv shows, and 3rd apps, but not movies.

  • Since i have windows xp i can only download sd movies from itunes?

since i have windows xp, i can only download sd movies from itunes?

That suggests the file is being damaged during download. The first thing to try is a different browser
Failing that, router issues have been implicated, try restarting your router.
Otherwise the easiest thing is to get a friend to download iTunesSetup.exe for you and put it on a memory stick.

  • Can´t download purchased movie on iMac

I have 3 accounts (mom, dad & me) on an iMac and somehow I link my dads` apple id to the computer and now I can`t download anything, even though I purchased it. Itunes just tell me "this computer is already associated with an apple id."
At the moment the only answer I find is to wait 52 days and change the account. Any other ideas?
Why can´t a computer have more than one Apple ID?!

If you mean you purchased the movie on your Apple TV, then you will need to either download the movie in iTunes and sync it to your iPod, or, while on Wi Fi, on the iPod open the iTunes app, go to Purchased, find the movie and download it.

  • Unable to download purchased movie in iTunes

I have the same problem with the '6 iTunes Downloads Available' but was never able to solve it witht the iTunes support, nor the Apple Store Genius bar.  I went through 3 people with the iTunes Online support and in the end they couldn't figure out why my computers (macbook pro 1" and brand new mac mini) iTunes wouldn't download the available downloads.  They are 6 ringtones that I purchased and downloaded successfully on an iphone 4.  Then I took my iphone 4 into the Apple Store and they replaced it and I hadn't synced it to my computer so I lost them.  Then I emailed support and they sent the 6 ringtones to my iTunes account and my computers, iphones and ipads couldn't download them.  In the end they ended up crediting my account with 10 song credits that I could use because they couldn't solve the problem after 6 months.  So now there they sit evertime I'm in iTunes '6 iTunes Downloads Available'.  Sorry I don't have the answer I've tried everything on my own, even erasing my phones and computer then reinstalling everything.

  • TS1424 Can't download a movie in iTunes. Error 8008. Anyone know how to fix?

I've tried a few different times to download a movie in iTunes -- it stops at the same point each time -- gives error 8008.
I'm trying to figure out how to get tech help (without waiting for the iTunes Store receipt to do so). Still searching, but open to help meanwhile.
    Thanks,

Perhaps try the "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

  • How many times can I download a movie from iTunes?

I recently purchased some of the movies offered in the bundled sales and am curious how many times I can download them.  Will they always be in the cloud, or do I exceed a limited number of views or downloads at a certain point?  I suppose if I did exceed a limited number of views from my Apple TV, or downloads from iTunes to my computer, I should then back them up.
Thanks for any guiance you guys may offer!

If you are in a country where you can re-download films, and if the studio allows re-downloading, then you will be able to re-download them as many times as you like - but there is no guarantee that they will remain in the store (studios occasionally remove them), so you are better off keeping your own backup copy of them (and similarly with your other downloads) rather than relying on them remaining in the store

  • Can't see purchased movies from itunes on iPad

I can't see the movies I purchased on my iPad. I sync them from itunes. They are on the ipad based on the hard drive space used. But when I tap the ipod icon, I can't see movies or video on the bottom of screen or on the left hand side that would point to the movies.
    Any help?

+If you did download them to your iPad, restart your iPad or try a hard reset.+
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button at the top of the iPad until the red slider appears, then slide to the right to power off the iPad. Turn the iPad on again by pressing the sleep button until the Apple logo appears. Once the iPad has fully rebooted, find your app, and tap the icon to relaunch.
Try a hard reset by pressing and holding down on the sleep button at the top of the iPad while holding down on the home button at the bottom, until the Apple logo appears and the iPad restarts. Launch the Videos again and see If the movies are showing.
+If they were downloaded to your computer in iTunes, then do as Philly suggests, sync your iPad to your computer.+
Connect your iPad to the computer, launch iTunes, select your device on the left side in iTunes, click on movies at the top of iTunes, click sync movies, click on the movies that you want to put on the iPad, click apply in the lower right corner in iTunes, then click sync. That will put the movies on your iPad. Open the Videos app and you are good to go.

  • Can't download purchased movies in brussels

Living in Brussels for 6 months.
I can access music,  movies or books I purchased in the US, but anything i buy from iTunes here, doesn't work.
I got a receipt for a book, so i know i purchased it, i just can't download it.
Is it because i am in Brussels?
Is there a way to override this?
My husband is still in the US.  Would it work if he downloaded it on our Mac there?
    Thanks

The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store.  You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.

  • Cannot download purchased movie from Itunes

Rented a movie and it shows up in purchases. I cannot download it. I get the same error message non-stop, tap to retry - to no avail. Please help!

Purchasing more storage in iCloud was not necessary. You may need more space locally - on the iPad itself - not in the cloud. But did you receive a message saying that you needed space to download the movie? If you did, then you need to delete content on the iPad to free up space.
Settings>General>Usage>Storage. You can see which apps are taking up the most space and you can see videos and TV shows that are on the iPad. You can delete content in there via the Edit button and download it again later a desired. Most purchased content can be downloaded again for free but there are some limitations and exclusions.

  • Can't download purchased songs from itunes store.

I recently had my laptop and itouch stolen. I now have a new laptop and itouch and would like to download the already purchased songs from the itunes store onto my new laptop. The itunes store has the songs in my purchase history but I can't find the option to download them again. I tried buying a song again to see if it would state that I had already purchased the song and that I could download it for free. But it only asked me if I would "like to buy it again". Surely their must be a way to download the songs again onto my new laptop. Any help would be great.

Was your backup copy stolen as well?
If so, you can try e-mailing itunes support to see if they will make an exception, although they are under no obligation to do so.

  • HT203167 Can't download purchased movie.

Purchased "The Avengers" last night on my Apple TV, can't donwload it on my MAC today. It does show up on my recent purchases but I can't download it.

I had same problem, reported it to iTunes support and they cancelled the pending download and refunded the cost.
Not a particularly good solution, since it was a 4GB+ download and I will have to go over my monthly limit to DL it again, not to mention the time it takes from here in India...

  • Can't download purchased music from iTunes from an authorized Mac

I went from a PC to a MacBook Pro in September. When I try to play a particular album, it's got that exclamation point after all the songs on it. After doing a lot of research, I think this happened when I was still using my PC. So what I moved to my Mac didn't include this album (and lots of other songs, but this was a fairly recent purchase on my PC). And my backups to Mozy don't have the missing music either. When I go to Purchased in Store, the downloaded is greyed out and I can't download it again to my Mac. My Mac is authorized as one of the 5 allowed. This album is on my iPad, but I've looked everywhere and can't figure out how to sync my iPad to my MacBook as opposed to Mac to iPad. Any suggestions? I'm pretty frustrated. I have lots of missing songs and from looking for my answer here, I see it's a common problem. But I should be able to download it again to my Mac if it's authorized, right? Thanks!

Bumping for a reply.  Any help would be appreciated.
