Can't download Silvelight from web page

Hey.
Is the download server for Silverlight 5 down?
When I click the download button the pop-up window times out, and I can't download.
The pop-up window sends me to http://silverlight.dlservice.microsoft.com/download/F/8/C/F8C0EACB-92D0-4722-9B18-965DD2A681E9/30514.00/Silverlight_x64.exe but nothing happens. It's been like this for about 12 hours now.
I've tried restarting the computer. Tried opening with firefox and explorer browsers, and tried turning off my firewall but nothing seems to help.
Is this a problem on my end or yours?

Hi,
I suggest you download the silverlight in the offical website.
http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/default.aspx?reason=unsupportedplatform
Besides, check the internet connection if it is too slow.
If you need any further assistance,please feel free to let me know.

  • Can someone download photos from web gallery?

    Can someone download individual photos from my web gallery? I am posting about 40 photos in the web gallery.I want people that visit to be able to download the photos they want. I tried it and it is set to download the entire album compressed. The visitors probably will only want 1 photo. Maybe there is a better application for this type of use.
    I am new to this and any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Yes, individual photos can be downloaded. Looks like you already have the Allow Downloading setting on since the entire album (compressed) is available.
    If a visitor clicks on any thumbnail in an album, and loads the corresponding screen-sized photo, each photo has a little toolbar that fades in at the bottom where a down-pointing arrow is the button to download the individual photo. This will be the (up to) 6 megapixel-sized photo and not the screen-sized one.

    Below is the doGet method, which is called from another servlet, with all the html stuff. i've taken out some parts of the code since its of no relevance.
    public void doGet(HttpServletRequest req, HttpServletResponse res)
                                       throws ServletException, IOException {
    try{
         log (" ENTERED DOGET IN LECTURE!!!!");
              res.setContentType("text/html");
              PrintWriter out = res.getWriter();
    Enumeration values = req.getParameterNames();
              //while(values.hasMoreElements()) {
                   String name = (String)values.nextElement();
                   String value = (req.getParameterValues(name)[0]);
    if(name.compareTo("submit") != 0) {
    if (value.equals("Enter/Edit")) {
    out.println("<A HREF=records.xls>Download Attendance Records</A>");//TO DOWNLOAD FILE
         catch(SQLException e) {
              log (e.toString());
    }

  • Can I download or copy web pages?

    I design websites on my MacBook Pro at home, and take my iPad to work, where I use it for word processing. It would help if I had copies of my local websites (designed in Dreamweaver). Is there a way to copy these files onto my iPad? Alternatively, can you download web pages with an iPad? If so, how do you navigate to the downloads and open them for viewing?
    Thanks.

    There are times when I want a PDF of a web page.  What I do is tap/hold near the top of a page in Safari, then flick my finger down.  That usually highlights the entire page (can be tricky).  If that doesn't work, I stretch the highlighted region down and up to cover the whole page.  I "copy" the page.
    Then I invoke an app called Convert2PDF.  There I choose  the Webpages tab and click the paper tab to paste the page.  Finally, I can convert it to a PDF and open it (and save it) in a PDF reader, my choice being Goodreader.  You may want to change the name of the PDF file in Goodreader at this point, since it is originally assigned a generic name by Convert2PDF.

  • Can't print directly from web pages anymore-what setting needs to be changed?

    After doing a recent update for the printer, the program jammed up and I was forced to  uninstall then reinstall the printer. Since doing so, whenever I want to print a doc from a website, I right click to print, and a save page comes up-forcing me to save the document somewhere before I can print. I save to desktop, then can print from there. This is an extra step I never had to do before-could always print from the page. What setting do I need to change?

    Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
    It sounds like the printer is not the "Default".
    Print to Printer without First Saving to File
    Not nearly as common, slightly possible, is that your browser is not picking up a properly set default printer setting.

  • Can't download .pdfs from web - Standard

    Have standard 7.0 and it worked fine for years but recently it will not download pdf files from the web.  Locks up IE and Mozilla when I try.  Opens pdf's fine from local drive just a problem with the web downloads.  Removed and reloaded Acrobat 7.0.  No change.  Downloaded ActiveX control - no change.  Any ideas out there????

    What version of Acrobat 7. Hopefully not 7.0.0 since there were many bug fixes. What version of Windows? What service packs? What version of MSIE? What version of Mozilla? Were there any recent Windows updates that you installed prior to things going wonky? Also, if running Windows XP, what firewall software and what virus protection?

  • How to include non web pages to the "Create PDF from Web Page" feature?

    In Acrobat Pro (v. 10), when I use the "Create PDF from Web Page" feature, it works great for html pages, but it skips non-html links (doc, pdf, ppt, xls, etc). I need Acrobat Pro to convert those files and put them in the order as well. I don't see an option for this in settings. Is there ANY way I can do this? This is for an archiving purpose and I have 10,000 plus files to convert. Please help.

    This is a question i'm trying to answer too. My issue is that I have a PDF file which itself contains links to both DOC and PDF files. The end result is that I need one consolidated PDF containing all the linked files (in order).
    I can run the "create from web page" on this PDF file, and it'll download them, but not convert them. It just adds them as "jumbled" text to the end of the document. I need it to download, convert, and then append them.
    So, as isunshine3 asked above, any way to have Adobe convert the files that it finds linked when running the "create from web page"?
    THanks
    Matt

  • Can i download vista from Microsoft web page?

    Hey,
    Maybe you have seen from my last posts that i have been asking about vista and boot camp, but when i went to buy it they told me that here (where i live) there is no vista DVD they just come with the computers, so here is my question: Can i download vista from windows market place?
    And this question for the ones that have vista or know: I want to install Windows Vista Home Premium, but i am not sure if i can install it because i need 128 MB of graphics memory but i don't know if i have them, what happens if i don't have that amount what won't i be able to do?

    *"Can i download vista from windows market place?"*
    No.
    You can order Vista from hundreds of online retailers if your local dealer does not carry it. Regardless, this is really a question for Microsoft or a Microsoft forum.

  • I am no longer able to open or download most PDFs from web pages. I have the pop-up blocker turned off in Preferences.

    In recent months I have found that I am unable to download or open PDF documents from web pages. Download links either open a blank page in a new tab or do nothing. PDFs that I am unable to view in Firefox can be viewed and/or downloaded in Safari most of the time and Chrome all of the time so I assume the problem is not my computer or operating system. I recently turned off the pop-up blocker but that did not make a difference. The problem has worsened over the past couple months, it appears that more and more web sites are moving to a different protocol for viewing/downloading PDFs. It used to happen occasionally but now I find that I am unable to view a majority - about 75% - of PDFs. I am using Firefox v18 for Mac with Mac OS X 10.6.8.

    hello ahegarty, you could try using the [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/pdfjs/ PDF Viewer] addon, for more details also see [[PDF files are blank and can't be downloaded on Mac]].

    How can I download content of wiki pages from Office 365 online Sharepoint site using c#?
    Ratnesh[MSFT]

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to download content of wiki pages on SharePoint Online.
    If just for getting the text of the page, I suggest you convert page to PDF file first and then download the PDF file via a Visual Web Part as a Sandboxed solution.
