Can't download some apps on my iPod

I can't download some apps on my iPod touch 4 generation like grand theft auto Chinatown wars because it doesnt show me the download button. Can somebody help me?

Apps and many other purchases are tied to the iTunes Store account via which they were purchased. So if you buy the app, that app is tied to your iTunes Store account. Without that account information, the child could not update the app nor back it up.
I'd also suggest giving the child an iTunes gift card or gift certificate along with the iPod. If the child is too young to have and manage his or her own iTunes Store account, then his or her parent could set up an iTunes Store account to purchase the apps. That could be done with that gift card and not need a credit card. You can also gift specific apps, though again that would require the child or a parent to open an iTunes Store account through which to redeem the gift. For more information on gift options, see:

1. Make sure iPad is using the latest software
2. Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
3. Make sure Time Zone is correct
4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

Can't download some apps from ovi store

so i had a mountain of trouble with my phone and ovi store after update but i am finally back up and running but for some reason i can't download certain apps like fmobi for example it downloads till the point it says finalizing then says cancelling download i have tried everything if anyone has a suggestion would be most helpful thanks

Hi!
I am trying to download some apps on my ipad (i.e. Aol Editions and The Find.com)
but I always get an error message telling they are not available.
I have tried both from the link (download for ipad) inside the sites and searching on ipad Apple Store.
Any idea which is the reason?
Could the application be blocked on geography base (I am out of the US)

Not all applications are available on all countries, so yes, it's quite possible that those apps are not available on your country's iTunes Store. If you can tell us what country you're in, someone can probably take a look and confirm.
BTW, this forum is for the Mac App Store, the store where you buy applications to run on Mac OS X. Questions about the App Store for the iPad will generally be best posted in the iPad or the iTunes forums. While similar in many ways, the stores are sufficiently different that a solution for one may not apply to the other.

So recently, I picked up an iPod Touch 4G and I went into the app store and attempted to download Spotify. When I entered my apple password, I came up with the error "Your device must have iOS 7 or up". The problem is that iOS 6 is the only iOS my iPod will support! I cant upgrade it to iOS 7 otherwise I would upgrade it even though I prefer the icon style of iOS 6. So my question is how can I install Spotify on my iPod? Is there a way I can get my iPod to install the last known compatible version?

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

I can't download some apps of the App Store.

I got a new iPad 4 and I updated it to the new version and after I did that my kik wasn't there anymore. I went to the App Store so I could re download it but I can't it won't let me it says "open" but when I click on it it won't let me open it this is also napping with some apps I haven't even downloaded. - Apps such as Little Snitch, Net Nanny, and Hands Off can prevent apps from downloading including Mountain Lion.
- Third party download managers are not compatible with the App Store.
If nothing above applies, install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo)
That will reinstall the App Store for you as well as any necessary system files. It's ok to do this even though v10.7.5 is already installed.
Retart your Mac after the combo is installed.
Then try the App Store.

I suspect you have a negative balance. You have to resolve that before making any purchases, even free ones.

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.
