Can't download the iTunes 11.1to my pc, i've tried 3 different pc's and i press download and nothing happens accept for a "thank you" screen, any solutions? using Win XP, in all 3 there are already a previous version of itunes...

I too had problem for downloading iTunes 11.1 for my Windows 32 Bit. But luckily I found direct download links and I installed in my laptop.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

There is a OneClickdigital ereader available in the App Store. Download that to your iPod to read pdfs and books from the library. And you might need to download the OneClickdigital eaudio player to listen to audiobooks from the library. Once both are downloaded sync you iPod again to transfer them.

I was using my husbands computer and have mine set up finally. I try to setup and download so I can download music and use my files on this computer. It says on the main screen thank you for downloading, but nothing else happens. I can't figure out what's going on. All I want is to set up my ipod on here so I can switch plays...

Copy it from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.

I have an older Mac but a new iPhone 5. I cannot get the two systems to match so I can download and backup my iPhone to my Mac. I recently visited a Mac store and they advised me to buy the snow leopard (10.6.3) so I could get the new itunes 11 version. Now I cannot find where to download the 11 version of iTunes. If you're syncing photos from a folder, if you set up your photo syncing to sync to an empty folder, that should remove the photos from the iPod.
If you're syncing from Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements, there's advice in the following document on how to remove photos from the device:

Delete the broken links in iTunes then look at your purchased list to redownload.
If this happened because you were deleting files from the iTunes folder in Finder, don't. You have to let iTunes do all the deleting and moving or you will end up with broken links.

First, are you positive it is really not there? Have you looked in your iTunes folder in your Music folder, and in the media folders there? Do you see your media files?
If your media are gone it is a lot easier to restore from a proper computer backup. Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.
