Can't download the .pdf form. Error comes up of "Acrobat could not save this ,pdf file. The file might be open in another app and cannot be overwritten."

It was happening on the mac. Now it is happening on both a mac and pc.

I read some other threads after posting this. Seems if you download the Adobe Forms Central App to your computer, you combat the problem. It is running much smoother now and allows me to save .pdfs to my mac no problem. I thought it was a problem with Acrobat but it turns out is is an issue with using the online program versus the App. I highly recommend the app.
Thanks for responding though.

    Short answer: not for CS5.
Platform swaps are available but only for CS6

When I enter my password to purchase a song, I need to create new security questions. When I finish writing them out and I hit submit, a box comes up with the words: "An error has occurred. We could not save your changes." What does that mean and how do I make it go away?

Potentially the issue may be the combination of actual distance and the presence of any Wi-Fi interference at the location of the AirPort Express that may be the culprit here. The bottom line is you would want the Express to be within a 25+ dB range of the Extreme to be sure that it can consistently stay connected to it.
For more details on proper base station placement, check out the following AirPort User tip. Please post back your results.

  • Can't download a PDF file.

I'm trying to download a PDF file from a financial institution, but all I get is the typical box with the never ending flying file. Nothing else happens. I'm using win xp and explorer. I disabled all security programs but that did not solve the problem. I just don't know what else to try.

Most likely the server on that institution is slow or overloaded. Try again, or post the download link here.

  • ERROR com.rsa.jsafe.JSAFE_PaddingException: Could not perform unpadding: invalid pad byte.

              Hi,
I am trying to setup cluster environment with weblogic7.0. I have two managed
servers in my cluster. The first one I am able start without any problem(The first

server from different m/c(this is another UNIX m/c) it is giving the following
error. I am not using default security realm.
If anybody come across this error before, please reply me.

    Venkat,
I assume you are using symmetric ciphers. If soo make sure you
generate the key for the admin server and copy that to all the managed
servers in the cluster before you start each of the managed servers. I
think you are generating keys for each server seperately (which might
be the reason for the errors you got).
              Hope this helps.
              -Kiran

  • Overwriting a PDF file that is open on another computer

    Hi!
Instead of a intranet, we decided to post a PDF file via network mapping to keep the staff updated on the latest news.
We use a mapped network folder as source for the documents, and one document with links so the staff can navigate to relevant information. The staff opens the PDF-file in IE.
The problem we have is that whenever someone in the staff has opened the document in IE we are unable to edit the PDF in Word and overwrite the PDF-file that are availible to the staff.
Is there any way that we can make the file overwritable when someone has opened it, and the person that is reading the file can simple refresh and get the updated information?
This document will be edited by several departement managers, so it's impossible for us to use other editing tools than Office  (which they are already used to).
    Thanks in advance.

I'm not an expert on editing files that are opened by another application, but I am not sure it _can_ be done the way you currently have it set up.  At least as far as IE is concerned.  (And I hate IE, too.. never did like it.)
IMHO, the file should be stored in a database; that way, no matter how many people are accessing it, you can make changes and save them to the binary stored in a BLOB/CLOB datatype.  And if you (exclusive) lock the record as it's being saved, whomever is trying to access it will be "paused" until the save is complete and they will then retrieve the latest update without any corruption of data, or other 'hiccup'.
If a database is not an option, I'm not sure what to do.  If it were an intranet, it might be different.  But a network share isn't the best solution.  It might be cost-saving or easier to maintain; but there's a saying - You can have it cheap, fast, or good; pick two.

    no comment

When I open the store in general (from my PC - Windows Vista), I get a message saying "Your request could not be completed. The item you've requested is not currently available in the Canadian Store."
On my iPad, Apps opens, but I can't browse new apps listings, but not their details.
    Help?

  • Can't download large pdf file

I'm trying to download a large pdf file (26.2 mb) to my iPad.  It appears to download, then appears, as 440 blank pages.  It offers to open the file in iBook, but that also doesn't have any results.  Is there a limit on the size of the pdf file it can handle?  I tried to e-mail it from my computer, but the file is too big for my e-mail program.  This is a book I would really love to read on the iPad--how can I get it there?  thanks, B.

Yes, I see that as well. Talk about a bad assumption. I thought from what I had read that the feature worked like Spotlight on the Mac. In fact I could swear I've read that on Apple's site somewhere. Not the first time I was wrong and certainly not the last. Alas I stand corrected again.
Frankly, after investigating the search function further - IMHO - it seems pretty useless.  A number of the apps that I use have their own search functions built in. I've read that you can search for a missing app on your iPad with this feature, but other than that and finding contacts and emails it seems pretty pointless to me.

  • I can't download the Mac OS X Lion, has another way I can  install it on my white macbook?

I Can install it for free Lion recently bought my macbook. However I can't download it via the App Store. I wonder if there is another way for me to install the Lion?
    Thank's!!

If you sign in to the App Store and under Purchases, Lion shows a greyed out 'Installed' button to the right, you can redownload it by signing into the App Store, press and hold your OPTION key and click on 'Purchases' along the top of the App Store menu. You should see to the right of Mac OS X Lion the button ungreyed and saying 'Install'. Click 'Install' to redownload. After the download finishes, an installer window will come up for you to install.

  • Can't download big pdf files after upgrading to ios7.

Safari closes itself every time I try to download PDF file bigger than about 50 MB. I never had any crashes with IOS6 with my iPad2 before. And yes, I've tried all cold boot and reset tricks.

Report the problem to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

  • Can I download a PDF file ontol my iPod Classic

I am trying to figure this out and wanted to know if anyone on the net could tell me.

And you should be aware that if you do this, you will need to split the files into quite a few notes because the iPod is only capable of displaying the first 4 kilobytes (KB) of text, or about 4096 characters of each note.
The notes feature isn't really meant for long documents like a multi page PDF file.

  • How can i fix the program as I am on a website and cannot get video to play

I am trying to view a video on a website, but there is a Q with a question mark in the middle. what do i have to do to see the video with Quicktime?

Hard to tell without seening the website. Open the QuickTime control panel click on Browser tab and Mine settings... See if there's a Flash preference in there if so uncheck it. I seem to think some of the older versions of QT had one. What version of QT is on the computer?
Also from the Tools menu of the Browser open add-ons to see if QuickTime is disabled.
