Can't drag and drop apps and ringtones from itunes into the iphone.
I'm sure it's something that I have to enable in itunes or the iphone, but I can't seem to drag and drop my apps or ringtones from itunes. This started when I got a replacement phone from my provider. I can't transfer them on my itunes. I get a block icon when I try to drag and drop. So the only way to get all the apps back is by re-downloading on the phone itself, but some apps are huge and I wouldn't want to do that. All the apps I backed up and even new ones I purchased can't seem to transfer. I tried deauthorizing and authorizing, re-downloading apps, syncing. So far nothing. Any tips?
Thanks for trying but your answer is incorrect, according to an email I received today from HP Connected:
"I have reviewed your email. I understand that you have questions related to rearranging the order of the apps on the printer. I know this can be frustrating, and I want you to know you're certainly valuable to us and I want to do everything possible to ensure your complete satisfaction. The following information should provide the answers you need:
1) Unfortunately when HP launched the new website (www.hpconnected.com) they did not include a method of rearranging the apps on the printer. They may include this feature in a future update, however as this time it is not available.
2) If you have made the upgrade from eprintcenter to HP Connected you do not have the option of returning. Eprintcenter is in the process of being eliminated and unfortunately retuning to the old site is not possible."
I hope <<S-O-O-N>> HP fixes this new website -- it's crazy to take away any controls like this from their customers and not either embellish them or at least leave them be.
I may take this 7610 OJ back for a new Brother 11x17 all-in-one --- they look nice )

In iTunes, try signing out of your Apple ID & then back in: click on iTunes Store on the left sidebar of iTunes, click on your Apple ID on the top right, sign out, sign back in. Then try to sync your purchased music to your phone again.

I can't figure out how to get music from iTunes to the iPhone 4S.
I've tried to sync music, but it says there are zero songs. This new set-up of iTunes is the dumbest thing I've ever seen, and doesn't have the side menu to the left where you could click the device that it used to. I have the computer authorized and all that. I even set up home sharing.

How do I move a movie I have synced from iTunes into the "Movies" tab of the Video App? I need to access a slideshow I made in IMovies and may not have WiFi. I did it once, but can't figure out how to do it again! The file is an m4v. Thank you!
Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.

I have created files within the mail app and want them to be the same on my mac and iphone.You need a mail server that supports this then. Hotmail premium I believe does, but the free version does not. Gmail supports it, and any ISP that offers IMAP supports this capability. iCloud definitely supports it, so if you create a free iCloud email account and switch your primary email to it you would have this capability.

Most, if not all material sold on itunes is copyrighted and there are anti-piracy provisions embedded in the code. You may not have the rights to copy the movie to another medium such as Keynote. Your purchase of the movie and what you can do with it are limited. -

You need to sync TONES to your phone in itunes on your computer with your phone attached by USB cable. Click hte Tones tab once you have selected your phone in the left column in itunes.
If you want to create your own tones then do the following or use a free ringtones app:
RINGTONE
This how to make ring tones for your iPhone:
Choose the desire song from you library
Do secondary click to your song (right click for PC)
Click "Get Info"
Go to Options tab
Set Start Time and Stop Time, some iOS only allowed 30 sec length for one ringtones, then click OK
Do secondary click (right click for PC) to your selected song
Clik "Create AAC Version", new song from your selected will added to your library (short one)
Do secondary click (right click for PC) to your short one (new song)
Click "Show in Finder"
Rename file *.m4a to *.m4r, click "use *.m4r"
Drag the file to library, for the first time it would automatically add your library with new folder "Tones" under Apps folder
Open the ring tones in the Tones folder of your library than drag it to your iPhone. And your iPhone also would be automatically added "Tones" folder.
Last but not least, set the ring tone in your iPhone under the "Setting-Sound" -

I just up loaded a load of music onto my computer and then when I press ctrl and s and try to drag the album tag over the iPad one it just comes up with a red cross and won't let me drop anything in it !
