Can't edit path to template " Configure MS office report"

I am trying to change the path to my template in " Configure MS Office Report"  (see attached screen shot)
I can place my cursor into the "Path to Template" field, my keystrokes don't appear.
How can I change the path name?  I am setting up another VI on this computer but it needs a separate template.
Thanks,
Bill

You need to change the ring selection from "Basic Report for Excel" to "Custom Report for Excel".  This allows you to specify your own template.

  • How can I edit a DVD Template for Premiere Elements 10?

    In previous versions of Premiere Elements, I would edit DVD Templates using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to include my logo and change the color or tint of the background. Now, I can only see the Fun template in the DVD Templates folder. I want to modify the Extreme Sports template, but can't find it now. Where are all the other templates located?

    Install the excellent 'Search Everything' utility and enter 'extreme' as a search term. Note that when you first run 'Everything' it takes time to index your drive(s). After that though it is a nearly instantaneous start.

  • Can Contribute edit a DW template and allow it to propagate?

    I've created a fairly straightforward html/css site in DW CS3
    based around a template and have uploaded both the site and
    template to the client's web server.
    There's a little set of static text on the template which
    cross-populates all the html pages. If I edit the template in DW,
    it updates all the pages that are based on that template. I'm
    hoping that if I set up the client with Contribute, they can access
    the template, edit it, and see the changes propagate to all the
    html pages that are based on that particular template.
    Is this possible? If not, is there a breathtakingly simple
    approach I might be able to give the client to use?
    Many thanks.

    Users of Contribute cannot update templates.
    The 'breathtakingly simple approach' could be to use an SSI
    (server side include) in your template.
    Example php: <?php include("inc.included-file.php"); ?>
    You provide your user with an url to the include file, so he
    can edit the file in Contribute.
    NB: works also great with menu's (make an include file with
    just an unordered list, style it with css, and provide your user
    with the url to the menu).

  • Can't edit text in template

    Ok, so I've opened up a template in Motion, inserted my media into the drop zones and everything has worked so far. I go to edit the default text that the template has... and nothing. I can't find anything under the inspector to edit the text. I click on the actual text in the template and there aren't any areas to edit it. Any suggestions?

    Select the text layer in the Layers tab, double-click the text in the Canvas to highlight it, and type what you want.

  • How can I edit a website template's background?

    I chose a template to start building my new business website. But I want to change the background colors of it and after reading and reading couldnt figure it out. So I chatted with customer support and they told me to ask the question here as css is out of their suppor reach.
    Situation:
    Picked Forceful template. Im trying to change the black to a carbon fiber image, and the green to a different color.
    Is that possible without dreamweaver or additional software? (Im on a budge trying to lunch my business's website with what I do have)

    Oh Nicol, I apreciatte your helping me so much!
    I did upload the background image I want to css/images/pics.
    So, I located the lines you gave me. Below is what lines 1065 to 1086 say.
    .row_top {
      background: url(../images/top_row_bg.jpg) no-repeat 50% 0%;
      height: 401px; }
    .carousel {
      width: 972px;
      margin: 0 auto;
      position: relative;
      overflow: hidden;
      height: 402px;
      padding: 37px 0 0;
      padding-left: 35px; }
    .wide .carousel, .wide_alternative .carousel {
      width: 940px;
      margin: 0 auto;
      position: relative;
      overflow: hidden;
      height: 402px;
      padding: 28px 40px 0;
      background: url(../images/carousel_bg.png) no-repeat 50% 0%;
      margin-top: -28px; }
    Do I have to replace " url(../images/top_row_bg.jpg) no-repeat 50% 0%;" for something else for my image to display instead of the current color?

  • Can't Edit App Store Default Configuration

    I have just updated to OS 3.0 and noticed that the App Store application has increased the number of buttons and added a 'More...' along the bottom. I like to have the 'Updates' button immediately available so I tried to Edit the button layout. This seemed to work but doesn't save. The next time I go into the App Store app the buttons are back to the original layout - my changes aren't being saved.

    Same problem here...
    I've never changed the icons in app store. After installing 3.0 yesterday there was a "more" button in the icon bar of app store (with redeem and updates as an option), but this morning I started app store there was only updates on the right side and no access to "redeem" anymore...
    In addition my iphone is running with german language and "Aktualisierungen" instead of "Updates" is a very long word, only half of the word fits the lower right edge of the screen...

  • Can I edit the default HTML5 template?

    Hi all.
    Got a question here. When I start a new HTML document in  Dreamweaver CC I end up with the following code:
    <!doctype html>
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    </body>
    </html>
    What I would like is to be able to edit this default template to start with the following:
    <!doctype html>
    <html>
        <head>
            <meta charset="utf-8">
            <!--Edit below line for external css-->
            <link rel="stylesheet" href="#.css" media="screen>
            <link rel="stylesheet" href="#.css" media="print">
      <link rel="stylesheet" href="#.css" media="handheld>
            <!--Edit below line for external js-->
            <script src="#.js"></script>
            <!--Edit below line for search engine description-->
            <meta name="description" content="">
            <!--Edit below line for search engine keywords-->
            <meta name="keywords" content="">
            <!--Edit below line for author-->
            <meta name="author" content="">
            <title>Untitled Document</title>
        </head>
        <body>
        </body>
    </html>
    I've edited the default.html found in Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014.1\configuration\Templates and saved it but whenever I open a new HTML file and select HTML5 I wind up with the original code.
    Can this be changed or am I just stuck with saving the desired code somewhere and constantly using that file to start all my new projects with?
    Thanks.

    Try C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014.1/configuration/DocumentTypes/New Documents/default.html for starters. Tip - make a backup of this file before making any changes to it.

  • Can you edit a host's provided templates in iWeb?

    I am looking at Hostgator to host my simple business site. They have a ton of business site templates, but apparently you need some software (like FrontPage or DreamWeaver)to edit them. Can you edit these templates using iWeb? Are there other hosts with templates that are compatible with iWeb?

    Follow this link for iWeb templates:
    http://www.ipresentee.com/
    If you're lucky they still have [a free template for Christmas|http://www.ipresentee.com/iPresentee/iPresentee-_ChristmasGift.html].
    They (Hostgator) have a ton of business site templates
    Download the templates you like and use the layout to re-create the page in iWeb. Drop the images on your iWeb canvas and rearrange them.

  • If I receive a document as a PDF or WORD Doc in an email, can I edit them.  As in, if the doc is a template, how do I open it and fill the template in?

    Can I edit a document that was sent to me, like a template?  I cant seem to figure out how to do this, I am a new MAC user

    If you look in App Store you will find Apple's own Pages which can read, edit, and export Microsoft Word compatible .DOC or .DOCX files. There is also another interation of the previously mentioned OpenOffice which is NeoOffice, NeoOffice uses the same open source kernel as OpenOffice, but wraps it in a Cocoa wrapper which provides access to virtually all of OS X's file and data managment features and is one of the fastest office suites avaiable for the Mac.

  • IBooks Author - can't edit text on customized template

    I've created a template and saved it to My Templates. However, when I select a layout (a chapter or section) and place it into my book, I can't edit the text. Where am I going wrong?

    I tried the above but still can't edit text.
    I'm inserting a page and then changing it to 2 Column.  It is linked to the first page.  If the first page has enough text, it overflows into the new page and I can edit it.
    However, I want the new page to be stand alone.  So I remove the link to the first page.  The text disappears.  When I double click into either column, I can't add any text to this page.  I have to add a text box into the column, which of course isn't going to overflow into column 2.
    The strange thing is that I have another page a little further up that is also 2 Column.  It is not linked to the first page but I can type text into it.  This text will overflow from column 1 into column 2.
    Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

  • Can't Delete Non-Editable Region in Template?

    Well, I can in existing templates but if I create a new one from an existing page using "Save as Template", when I try to delete a non-editable region in the template, DW won't let me.  I don't know why.  Aaaargh!
    It's my understanding I should be able to edit anything in a template.  I've tried existing DW and restarting.  I've tried using other pages as a basis for the template.  Every template I create won't let me delete non-editable regions.  I'm highlighting the non-editable region and pressing the delete key.  I can't delete.

    burro_mail wrote:
    Not sure DW is doing what you describe...
    But I am certain you could remove the region in code view.
    Even if you are a WYSIWYG-er and not a big code-head, it should be pretty easy to remove the region markers and everything between them...
    Trust me, it is.  I'm wondering if the problem is associated with the fact that the source page that I saved as a template was based on a template?  I just noticed that this new template refers to another template.  I'm thinking that means the other template is controlling what I'm trying to do in the current template.
    That's it.  I just tried saving a template under a different name (still retaining the correct template file extension) but did not do the save as template.  Now I can completely edit that template.  So you if you save a page that is controled by a template, as a template, that new template is controlled by the previous template.
    I've got a headache now.

  • Dreamweaver Template: circle with diagonal line in editable region, but can still edit

    Since upgrading to Dreamweaver CC 2014, for only one of dozens of clients, in a Template, I get a circle with diagonal line in editable region, but I can still edit it, I just can't click to the spot that I want to edit, I have to navigate there with the up down left and right arrows on my keyboard. And, I created a new Template and it didn't happen, until I "got" a file, and now it happens in the new Template too. What's going on?

    Sorry, I'm new here. Do you mean like a screen shot? I just thought maybe somebody had seen this before and would just tell me "you need to uncheck the something or other"

  • How can I edit external e-mails accounts configurations I had on Mobile Me mail and now on iCloud?

    how can I edit external e-mails accounts configurations I had on Mobile Me mail and now are
    on iCloud?

    Thanks for the answer, but the external POP accounts I had in my MobileMe are working in my iCloud! I receive all the e-mails that are directed to those POP accounts, in my iCloud e-mail, since I migrated from Mobileme to iCloud. So, iCloud accepts external accounts, but i doesn't allow us to edit new configurations or to send e-mails using Pop Accounts through it. Very weird. Does anybody have a solution?

  • How can we add multiple editable region in template

    Hi,
    My issue is when I am going to create a new template I want to add multiple editable region in template and I want to use those editable region per page wise so that in page editor I will add different text for each page for those editable region.
    I can use incontxt editor to change those area for different pages although is it possible to use online editor to add different text for different pages.
    I also have a plan to solve the issue ... that is also not working.
    Plan is .. if we can use tag (not the default one in template), want to use different tag like {tag_headding},{tag_sidebarcontent} in template so that we can use those tag in template and fill the field in the page online editor, so when differnt page we will create we will fill those field for those tag and that will show in the front view of the site.
    Please help me. I am really stuck on this issue.
    Thanks in advance.
    Projjwal

    Hi Projjwal,
    Yes, if you look at many of the commercial BC templates available the way they are getting around it is with Content Holders and multiple templates.
    Now I know you will say that multiple templates is high maintenance ..... not if you use Content holders for both recurring content and unique content.
    Think of Conent Holders as 'Includes' ... I have been doing it this way with templates that I build from scratch as well. Easier than you think.
    And that way the client can change content such as footer information or whatever that appears on all pages without editing the template itself.
    Only drawback is that if you are using Design View in Dreamweaver the content holders don't render. But other than that Content Holders are awesome.

  • Sharepoint Online Can not edit anything in Sharepoint designer as Site collection administrator

    Dear all,
    I am using sharepoint online and sharepoint designer 2013. Things were working fine but one day it suddenly stopped working. I have assigned site collection administrator to several accounts and I tried on different computers. I can not edit anything in
    sharepoint designer 2013. Can not edit workflows, can not edit lists. Everything seems to be bugging out. I have reinstalled sharepoint designer and tried on different computers, all of them behave the same. I checked on all accounts I assigned site collection
    admin to, they all have full control over everything. I can edit lists on the sharepoint site with no problem. Anyone knows what's going on?
    I also created another blank site, same thing happens.

    Are you able to edit site in IE?
    Try below:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/namkh/archive/2013/04/18/quot-the-web-site-has-been-configured-to-disallow-editing-with-sharepoint-designer-quot.aspx
     One straight forward way of doing it is from the UI (Which did not work in my case though :(  )
      1.  Right-click the ONET.XML file ( at \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\TEMPLATE\SiteTemplates\<var><Service></var>\xml) for the site definition and open it with Notepad
           If you see “DisableWebDesignFeatures=wdfopensite” section in the one.xml that means your site has been configured to disallow SharePoint designer.
          You can remove this section from the file and should be able to access the site in designer now
    2.   If you are unable to get rid of “DisableWebDesignFeatures=wdfopensite” or find the correct onet.xml corresponding to your site definition, here is a simple script I put together to see if Designer is disabled on the site using the property
    vti_disablewebdesignfeatures2 and update it as required.
    Manage Permissions and Control Access to Sharepoint Designer
