Can't edit Roxterm default profile after GTK updates

Am running fully updated system with Roxterm (2.2.1-1) and GTK (3.2.0-2).
Now, if I right-click on a Roxterm terminal and select 'Preferences / Edit Current Profile', nothing happens except the following error is logged:
** ERROR **: Unable to load GTK UI definitions: Invalid object type `GtkDevel'
Anyone else finding this problem? Is is related to the recent GTK3 theming problems reported? If so, I should mention I'm using the standard Adwaita themes for both GTK2 and GTK3 ...

Here we go again, with today's update to version 2.4.2-1:
Again I can't 'Edit Current Profile' or 'Edit Current Colour Scheme'; but quite a lot of errors are displayed (with or without a fresh configuration):

How can I edit the default settings for the Email button?

I saw this question posted for February and as yet still unanswered. So I am now asking it again.
I do not want to use my .mac account email address in my website. I want it linked to my domain. I have found no specific instructions for changing the default. Also my drag down "Link to" menu in the Inspector does not work.

While you can't edit the default email address in iWeb, there is a workaround which may suit.
In Safari, locate a web page which has iWeb's email button on it (if you've already published a site, one of your own web pages is ideal). Control-click on the button and select 'Add Image to iPhoto Library'. Drag this image from the Media Browser to your iWeb page, select the image, and use the Link inspector to enable it as a hyperlink linking to 'An Email Message'. Enter whatever email address you like in the To box and a Subject for the message if you wish.
To make things easier, create an iWeb library in iPhoto and add the email button to it for handy access.

the properties palette seems to loose it's values apart from density and feather. Can I not return to a shape to add rounded corners etc?

That's because you're on the mask pane instead of the object properties pane in the properties panel.
Look at the icons at the top of the panel that show different panes.

Hi there, could someone help me here please - I can't open the iTune store after I updated my iphone 4 to iOS 7. The problem occurred about 5 days later after the upgrade. There are no error messages. As I tap on the icon it opens just for a fraction of a moment and then goes off and back to the main screen. Other apps are working just fine. I tried following the troubleshooting steps as suggested by apple support, but that didn't help unfortunately...

jdotmattinson is correct! I have the same issue.
It is a router/ISP issue. Tried the software update drop down for 10.7.4, failed. Tried to download 10.7.4 Combo Client update, invalid checksum. Tried to download 10.7.3 Combo client update, invalid checksum.
Went over to Win7 Dell laptop, downloaded 10.7.4 Combo update, transferred to MacMini via USB drive. Invalid checksum. WHICH led me to diagnose it wasn't my Mac, but Apple's servers or my ISP/Router.
Went to work, downloaded on XP, put on USB drive, brought it home, copied, installed just fine!
Did a hard factory reset on Motorola Surfboard SBG5560, invalid checksum again.
Going to buy a new router tonight and test it again with dowloading 10.7.4 Combo update. Will keep you posted to see if that fixes it.
Btw, if a new one doesn't fix it then it's my Comcast ISP service that is messing it up. Which is going to make me cry....check out this link... be afraid, be VERY afraid if this is the problem/solution.

This does not work in my case.
Situation: we have wifi at home using WPA encryption.
The iPod Touch 8GB connected seamless to this network and anything was ok. After some days i could no longer connect, the iPod told me "connection to network 'networkname here' failed". Deleting the network and reenter the (correct) passphrase was no help, but changing the SSID on the router was helpful: the iPod could connect again ... for several days.
Now things stopped working again. Resetting network settings did not help either.
The iPod can see the network, is asking me for the passphrase and after several seconds telling me: can't connect. On the router log i don't even see a dhcp request, but other laptops work fine with the same wifi network.
That's a mess, i cannot and will not change the SSID every some days just to get the iPod working again.

I have followed all suggestions. Still can't fix the problem. After an update, my profile seems to be blocked.

My Toshiba laptop went through 45 updates, and now when I open Firefox (where ALL my bookmarks live) the program freezes after a few minutes. I get error messages about my profile, and errors about Firefox already running. I tried the suggestions above, but they don't seems to line up with my system. Windows8 is my OS. I've edited the default.html found in Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014.1\configuration\Templates and saved it but whenever I open a new HTML file and select HTML5 I wind up with the original code.
Can this be changed or am I just stuck with saving the desired code somewhere and constantly using that file to start all my new projects with?

Try C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014.1/configuration/DocumentTypes/New Documents/default.html for starters. Tip - make a backup of this file before making any changes to it.

How can I change the default message after System Call Handler transfer error?

I'm using Unity Connection 9.1 and System Call Handlers to allow to join internal extensions (not reachable from the PSTN).
I succeeded but I would like to change the default message played when the extension dialed is not known. I tried with Error greetings but nothing changed.

Just tried this on my 9.1 and 10.0(1) servers and it worked fine.
I went to the opening greeting call handler, selected the "error" greeting, set the greeting to play my personal greeting (it defaults to the system generated greeting), recording "hey, you dialed the wrong number" and then called in and during the opening greeting I dialed "88" - I heard "hey, you dialed the wrong number" and then it repeated the opening greeting recording as it should.
the default action after playing your custom greeting in this case is to "restart greeting" - which is why the opening greeting plays again.
Not sure what you did in your testing with the error greeting - check to make sure you have it set to play your personal greeting instead of the default system greeting - since you can't disable the error greeting there's not a lot of other items I can think of to check.

Can't edit masks or shapes after creation..?

I have no idea why... it used to work fine.
When I make a mask, and finish connecting it, I can't edit it afterwards...I can't select anything, any of the corners, I can move it around but that's about it.
Yes I'm using the right tool, and I have handles and lines enabled...I don't know what to do but I really need this fixed.

Im now using the latest version just so I can have some use while I try to sort this out & get help.

I'm adding that I tried system restore several times .... & my last full backup.... but each time something was corrupted or would not launch or there was no '''.exe '''file in the program folder...Ive never seen this before, & the Mozilla backup I had was useless... it was unable to launch either

How can I get the Display Profile list to update with new profile names?

I recently created a couple of color profiles with a calibration device, and I decided to manually rename the color profiles after creating them. The problem is, when I open Displays in the control panel, the new names for the profiles don't show up, only the old names. To get the Display Profile to update, I have to pull the profile out of Library > Color Syncs and restart (which clears the profile from the list), then put the renamed profile back in, restart (which then adds the renamed profile to the list)
Is there an easier way to to this, to get the Display Profile list to update? Is there a preference or cache somewhere?

Anyhow: your sample font was Times New Roman. If you can't see the combining glyphs, then you're using an out-of-date version of the font, or something else is wrong. . Did you maybe start your work on a contemporary version of Word in WIndows, and now you've shifted to using a Mac with an older version of Office? THere are plenty of nulls in TNR (which are usually codepoints not in Unicode, usually a sign of some kind of hacky workaround on the part ofthe font designer). There should be a real combining macron below right about here, in between the crazy upper Latin and the Greek caps :
So I'd want to know: what font are you using for this? If not TNR, then I'd suggest Gentium. I might even suggest dropping TNR for Gentium. Judging by your screen name, you may well already be aware of SIL. If not - oh hey, they make fonts for people who are in your shoes! Go check 'em out. The fonts are free, and pretty reliable. And Gentium may already have a precomposed with-line-below glyph for your typesetting needs.
The Kerning dropdown lets you adjust the spacing between letters in a letter-by-letter way. Selecting all of your text and picking "Metrics" is the way to go here - unless you are a designer who thinks that the capital D is way too far away from the lowercase i, and want to tweak the kerning manually. "Optical" is for large font sizes where body-text-style kerning is too spacious. Avoid using it at small font sizes.

I can't login on some websites, after I updated Firefox

I'm running Firefox version 20.0.1, and I can't login on certain websites. The login details are corect, since I can login using Chrome. This started after the update to that latest version of Firefox. I haven't installed any new add-ons before the update, or after it.
I cleared the cache (using Ccleaner and also from within browser's options), but that didn't solve my problem. I also cleared cookies, deleted browsing history, made sure I accepted 3rd party cookies. I also un-ticked the "I don't want to be tracked" option. I made sure that the sites I can't login into are not blocked from accepting cookies, or from anything else.
I have some add-ons installed (Ad-block, HTTPS everywhere, etc.), which I disabled one-by-one to see if they were causing problems, but with no success. Since I could login before the update, it's clearly not an add-on problem here.
