Can't enable cookies

I keep getting informed by Google+ that I need to enable cookies to log in, but I HAVE cookies enabled in all browsers.
I checked my Firefox folder, but could not find a profile folder anywhere to check if cookies.sqlt was corrupted.
HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO RESET FIREFOX TO ITS DEFAULT SETTINGS AND AFFIRM THAT COOKIES ARE ENABLED BEFORE GOOGLE WILL ACCEPT THIS????
This problem just started today, and has never been an issue before, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to contact Google about any form of technical support, and the few methods available require you to log into your account!!

Also, this same stupidity is happening no matter what browser I use!!

  • Can't enable cookies with 7.0.2 upgrade

I Am unable to sign into the apple store on my Ipad 3 without getting the message to enable cookies.  When I follow the directions, there is no "accept cookies" or "from visited" in safari.  What can I do?

Still a no go on that.  This is all in an effort to access the I tunes store which tells me "this Apple ID has not yet been used at the I tunes store". Then "tap to sign in and review account information". This just goes on and on with Jo resolution in sight.  I am flummoxed

  • Can't enable cookies on all sites, running on an iPad

installed Mavericks on an iPad, in Safari cookies are not enabled and the tab that lets cookies be activated for all sites in not visible,  Don't know why it is not visible.

Yes, you can use the Anyconnect client into an SSLVPN or IPSec VPN on the 892F. Cisco Configuration Pro makes it relatively easy to setup.

  • I keep getting an error message that says "You need cookies to login to this site. Please enable cookies." I checked cookies and they're enabled. I went through and did what it said to fix errors like this and it still says that. How can I fix this?

I am trying to login to a website and every time I go to login I get a message that says "You need cookies for this site. Please enable cookies." I've checked cookies and they're enabled, I even put that specific website on allow. I searched for information on how to correct this error and did all that it said, yet I still get this message.

I have the exact same problem! With just one website. It's when I have a second account on it. I can sign in with my original (old) account, but not with my new account that I wish to sign in on. I've talked to a lot of people members of the website who have second accounts and this doesn't happen with them, it's only with my firefox. I've done everything I can to enable cookies, 3rd party cookies, no exceptions, etc.
But it must be something to do with my computer because I did the same thing on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome and it's exactly the same. :/

  • How do I enable cookies on Windows 7

Some sites do hold my password for access ( e.g. credit card) when I went to ' help'. the suggestion for firefox was to go to firefox then 'tools', etc. When I explored firefox and open the different windows I was not able to find tools. Further investigation I found similar instructions but it stated it was for Windows XP. So how can I enable cookies on Windows 7?

    Hi Esther.Applegate,
Do you have the ''Firefox'' menu in the upper left hand side of the screen? If you do, hit ''Alt'' to temporarily enable the ''Menu bar''. Then go to ''Tools > Options > Privacy''. The article [[Enabling and disabling cookies]] will show you how to set an exception for that site.
If you want the ''Menu bar'' on at all times, go to ''Firefox > Options'' and enable ''Menu bar''.
    Hopefully this helps!

  • Why can't I login to Firefox Accounts to set up Sync? FF30+ keeps telling me to Please enable cookies; cookies ARE enabled, already tried Safe Mode.

Exactly what it says on the tin.
Why can't I log-in to Firefox Accounts to set up Sync from my laptop PC? FF30+ keeps telling me to Please enable cookies; cookies ARE enabled, and I already tried Safe Mode. This has been happening ever since the new Sync was implemented, so I'm guessing around FF 30. I am now up to FF version 34 and it still isn't working. I have not been able to sync since the "update."
Problem #1: Going to about:accounts and clicking on the blue Get Started button opens a blank screen. There isn't even a prompt about cookies. It's just blank. Screen shot attached.
This is before add-ons are disabled. If they're disabled in Safe Mode, we go to Problem #2.
Problem #2: I skimmed a thread (https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server/issues/1017) and tried logging in to Sync through accounts.mozilla.com instead, but though the screen doesn't turn blank while add-ons are still enabled, the "Enable cookies" warning is as far as I can get. Going to about:accounts in Safe Mode has the same result. I have cleared all my cookies and my cache, restarted FF multiple times with and without add-ons enabled, and still nothing. I have browsed this support forum for similar questions, and while other people are having the same issue, none of the other threads have been resolved yet. Several FF versions later, this is way too long for this issue to still be unresolved.... Screen shot attached.
I know where Firefox's cookie manager is located, and I have toggled all the settings. I even allowed third-party cookies (though I really shouldn't since they're pointless). No difference. Screen shot attached.
I looked in about:config and searched for the word "cookie" in the names, but even doing that is pointless for me since I'm not a programmer and hence ignorant in what all these settings actually mean. Screen shot attached.
I'm at the end of my rope here, guys. It's been months. A year. Maybe more than a year; I don't even know anymore. I just got a new device and I don't want to add all my Firefox information to it one-by-one. There doesn't seem to be any way to contact Mozilla directly, so.... Someone help, please....

NoScript stops cookies, please disable this addon/extension as well as make sure that the language en-us is installed.
    # 1) Open up the Firefox Preferences tab. You can do this by typing about:preferences in the URL bar.
    # 2) Click "Content"
    # 3) Next to "Languages", click "Choose"
    # 4) Select "English/United States [en-us]", click "Add"
    # 5) re-open "about:accounts"
    # 6) Click "Get Started"
    </blockquote>
Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work....

    Hello sharon139.
In Safari, click on Safari in the upper left of your screen and then click on Preferences.  Go to the Security tab...... see below.  Select either Never or From third parties......   That should do it.

  • I need to apply for a job but I'm told I need to enable cookies and java script, how do I do that?  I can't find it in system preferences

I need to apply for a job but I'm told I need to enable cookies and java script, how do I do that?  I can't find it in system preferences
I just updated to the new operating system which i'm starting to think was a bad idea, because it reset all my settings and I don't know how to fix them.

so when I go to safari>preferences>security>uncheck box labled enable java script  links on webpages don't work and pictures and links son't want to appear on websites.  this made it so webpages don't want to work past loading the content in text format.  I have to check enable java script to go the webpages to work right so images and links work again but when I try to apply for this job the error message pops up saying I need to enable cookies and java script.
SO I GUESS MY QUESTION IS IF JAVA SCRIPT IS ALREADY ENABLED HOW TO I ENABLE COOKIES?

  • Cannot save two home pages on FF 24 after making changes as instructed, reseting FF and enabling cookies as it instructs. How can I do this? I can do it in IE

I have had remote control of my computer with specialists at Silicon Valley and they cannot change the necessary settings and have them saved either. Have talked to numerous people at Xfinity (I am changing from AT&T to Comcast). Xfinity cannot help either. They said to email Firefox.
I can save my home page as well as another one for emails in IE for Yahoo but not Xfinity. Xfinity has tab come up that says "enable cookies." I have done everything to get the two home pages to open upon startup of FF in Xfinity but cannot do it.
    Is there any help?

Did you try to set the home pages via Firefox/Tools > Options > General?
If you only open both pages in tabs then you can click the "Use Current Pages "button.
You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
    See "Creating a profile":
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.
