Can't enable eprint even with network connected
Windows 8 computer network is connected but eprint won't enable HP8600. Have followed directions for pushing refresh button. Still disabled.
Try the steps below. Make sure nothing is entering under proxy address.
1. Open an internet browser type printer's IP address.
2. Should bring you to the printer's status page.
3. Select network tab at the top.
4. Left hand side select IPv4 under wireless.
5. Under DNS address Configuration select Manual DNS Server.
6. For Preferred enter 8.8.8.8
7. For Alternate enter 8.8.4.4
8. Select apply. You might get a warning saying this could interrupt connection that's fine.
9. Turn printer off for about 30 seconds then try again.
Let me know it goes.

Same problem. I can see the itunes store so not a problem with windows firewall. The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

Upgrading to 6.1.1 hasn't solved the problem with network connection on 4S. Still "No Servise"!
Same here. Everything was fine running on ios 6.0, I don't know what possessed me to upgrade! I contacted O2 and thet went through the usual settings; reboot; airplane mode etc and it works for a while (like 5 mins) then service is losted with the network. I've even deleted the exchange email account and rebooted as read on the internet that this would fix the problem.... guest what....yep no joy! This is clearly a faulty software update and need fixing pronto! I've read that ios6.1.2 will be out soon to fix the firmware that was suppose to fix the initial network problem. When will this be realeased Apple?! It's hardly fit for purpose when I can't make calls or surf the internet.

This was possible (drop dead easy) through MCX. It was one checkbox. If you are supporting older machines, you might still be able to push out MCX settings. My experience with 10.8.x is that MCX is inconsitent at best.
In Profile Manager... Best suggestion is to look at creating a custom profile. For what it is worth, this is the default MCX setting if the Simple Finder option was set on a user. Note the InterfaceLevel = Simple.

Even with nothing connected to my Mac Pro, I get a USB error message
Even with nothing connected, I get this error message:
Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled.
I have restarted a few times and restarted in safe mode, and reset the PRAM and it is still there.
Any ideas?Even with the mouse and keyboard unplugged, I got the same error message. It always gives me 5 warning messages in 5 separate dialog boxes. The 2 USB ports on the front of the machine are disabled, and the 3 in the back are ok.
Profiler recognizes the "Hub in Apple Pro Keyboard" that lists the keyboard and the USB laser mouse (Logitec).
I'll give the SMC reset a try, but I have read in another thread where it didn't work for the guy with the problem, and his final solution was a complete re-install of the system software. I'm thinking maybe an upgrade to Lion 10.7 might fix it without having to rebuild my whole computer. I'm using 10.6.8.

Please help me.You have to make sure you have stop your antivirus and firewall program in disabled state duwing the download. I also have same issue earlier and it fixed by disabling the antivirus and firewall program.

A few months ago, while on the 3G network, my iPhone 3GS starting turning off randomly when I was using safari or an online app and the battery was somewhere around 5-20%. When this happened the only way to get the phone back on was by fully charging it which sometimes took a few hours even. It wasn't a big deal at the time because it was infrequent and while the phone was at a low battery %. However, in the past few months, around the time I upgraded to iOS 5.1 it started happened more and more often and at higher and higher battery percentages. It is now at a point where my phone shuts off every time I connect to the 3G network regardless of what my battery life is. I have called Rogers several times to complain about this and I have been told it is because of the battery for the most part but I don’t buy it; the problem has got to be more significant than the battery alone because I can listen to music and send texts at anytime and fully use the internet when I am connected to Wi-Fi. I more recently talked to someone in tech support from Rogers who said my phone cannot support the iOS 5.1 software and that is why it is crashing. They also asked if my phone was heating up more now than in the past and it is. They said this was further evidence that my phone was couldn't handle the new software and was basically on overload. I was told to the best solution was to "Back Up" my iPhone then do a full "Restore". Here is where my next problem comes along. I cannot "Restore" my iPhone without doing an upgrade and every time I attempt to "Upgrade & Restore" an error message pops up that says "There was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone "...". The network connection timed out/was reset. -Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later". I have followed all of the protocol that is readily available online to address this problem but still no success. I disabled my firewall and anti-virus programs, I have ensured my connection is active and stable, I have upgraded to the newest iTunes, I have uninstalled iTunes and all apple programs in the correct order then reinstalled iTunes, I have disabled my DNS cache. Nothing works.
If you have any advise whatsoever please share as it would be greatly appreciated.
ThanksI was actually able to upgrade to the newest software, iOS 5.1.1 without connecting to my computer/iTunes but rather directly through my phone when I was home on Wi-Fi. After the upgrade I plugged my phone into a different USB port at the back of my computer and was able to do a full restore. I really don't think the USB port had anything to do with it because I use the same front USB port all the time with my external hard drive and other devices wuth no problems at all; regardless of what the actual solution was, I am now able to connect to iTunes and upgrade/restore without any problems so that half of my problem is resolved.
I have yet to leave my house since doing the upgrade/restore so I am not sure if the problem with my phone crashing when I use the interent on the 3G is still an issue. I will test it today and tomorrow and give you an update.

Problem with network connection

I just installed Solaris 8 on my P-III machine with 256mb RAM. My network is fully supported by NT servers & machines. I chose to have dynamic IP thro DHCP. The network card present is 3COM. The machine boots up normally, gets an IP address & even telnet is possible from outside. But after a while, the connection dies all of a sudden. I am not able to connect to the server from outside or connect from the server to outside. When I restart the machine the cycle repeats.
Though the "ifconfig -a" shows that there are 2 interfaces (network card & loopback)with the IP unchanged even after the connection goes.

PTBabu.calling your ISP is actuallyl a good solution, basically a router just depends on the internet connection distributed by the ISP, if it drops then connection in the router would also drop...
but if it has no problems, you can try upgrading the firmware of your router and try to configure it at the same time.. -
I can't access iTunes Store? network connection could not be established.
I recently updated itunes to the latest, but now I can't get the itunes store to work, it just comes up with the message "we could not complete you itunes store request. the network connection could not be established... there was an error in the itunes store. please try again later"

Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Can't make outgoing call with Skype Connect
I have my Asterisk PBX configured with Skype Connect using SIP with TLS and SRTP. Most of my outgoing calls go through, but sometimes I can't get call out. I was able to leave asterisk console up and collect verbose and sip debug data. Can somebody help me diagnose why my calls aren't going through?
I've changed my external IP (I'm behind a NAT'd firewall) to 1.2.3.4 and my SIP profile's user ID to 11111111111111. and my domain name to test.com. If someone working for Skype needs that information they can email me and I'll send it privately.

Remove eprint job with HP Connected
Hello,
I'm really disappointed. I have launched a job with google cloud print by error (around 200 pages of a document).
I just want to remove this job in ePrintCenter.
ePrintCenter redirect me to HP Connected new website but I don't see in the UI any page to remove jobs.
How can I remove an ePrint job with the new HP Connect website ?

View Solution.Hi xblaster. The new HPConnected site has print jobs managed in the “Collections" tab. Before you can make use of it, you will receive an email from HPConnected asking you to confirm your email (orange button). This authorizes you to delete and reprint jobs. If the job is still stuck in the queue, you will have to wait until the job reports ‘failed’ before being able to actually remove it.

Windows 10 for phones emulators on Windows 10 10041 - problem with network connection

I can't connect to Internet on Windows 10 mobile emulators on Windows 10041. I have tried to resolve problem. First I noticed, there was problem with displaying properties main network connection. I had reinstalled network driver. After that I reinstalled
Hyper-V on Windows and recreated virtual machines for mobile emulators. Nothing helps.
On the same machine Windows Phone 8.1 emulator on Windows 8 has access to Internet.
I don't know if there was issue which is discribed

I finally got my HP P1102w hooked up, and it seems to be working (at least on first attempt) with AirPrint, but, when I log in through the internet using the IP address, and try to enable eprint, it says "Connection Error. Check Internet Connection." I've tried unloading and reloading/re-config on wireless, but to no avail. When I print the self test, I don't see anything that resembles an email address.
What am I doing wrong?On my OJ Pro 8600 it requires you to enable web services on the printer, then you'll get a printer code that you use at the eprintcenter.com site to enable eprinting. Did you set up an account on eprintcenter.com?
