Can't enable sleep mode

Hi,When I try to turn on the sleep-mode (ie pressing firmly on the display) it shows the sleep-mode for a minute or two, then it goes back to activity-mode!I tried a couple of nights now, same thing every night and the Lifelogger doesn't record my sleep.(nor does the smart-alarm since it doesn't know I am sleeping) I am doing something wrong?Have I missed some settings somewhere? RegardsDaniel

Hi,sleep tracking is automatic. It was introduced by the latest update (app version 2.0.0.48 and band firmware 2.0.0.27) As far as I know, there is no way to switch the band to "sleep/night" mode manually. But automatic detection works fine for me. Please note that time you spent in bed is not equal to time you really slept. :-) From my point of view, automatic tracking is the best way. Anyway, there is no "sleep time" indicator on the band's activity details screen even if the picture shows it. I don't know the reason. But  it is visible in Lifelog application and official release notes for SmartBand Talk application claims that sleep monitoring and smart alarm features were added, sleep monitoring data are available in LifeLog application and future improvements will come. So, I think that current state is intended behavior for some reason and Sony will change it in the future. Of course, smart alarm works for me and the band wakes me up within the defined time period according to sleeping time statistics. :-)

    I have macbook pro retina 15. And i update my photoshop to 13.1 But when i open document in 100% zoom all so little and in 200% all so blurry. How i can enable retina mode in new photoshop or i want to draw all layouts x2? Thank you!

    And now i will create templates with x2 resolution (x2 zoom will in none retina displays) and for another people (who will write html code after my template) templates will be very big and uncomfortably for use.
    And another problem is support my current projects, wich i strat on non retina display, know i can draw on 100% zoom and so small or on 200% zoom and so blur )
    Please say man, this is big problems?) I thought that adobe will create non-retina emulation in this version...

    I'm trying to enable developper mode for the first time on my Nokia N9 and I get the following message:
    Download failed
    Can't complete the download.
    Connection to the application provider was lost.
    Try again later.
    I don't know if the problem is on my side or on Nokia server side. Can someone tell me if they are able to download the developper mode additional applications from Nokia at the moment?

    I'm scared of flashing the phone... And I'll lose the warranty...
    Have you seen this (attachments). There are some files missing...
    I talked to my Nokia service center, they told me that I'm not supposed  to use the developer mode??? Is that just an excuse because they can't handle the problem? I have nobody to ask and trust here.

  • Can one enable turbo mode with acpi_cpufreq driver?

    Does anyone know if I can enable turbo mode with cpufreq driver? (acpi_cpufreq)
    I was able to achieve it with intel_pstate driver, but do not see any way with acpi_cpufreq. Or does performance governor automatically has turbo enabled?
    I am using Intel Xeon E5-2650, which has default frequencies of 1.2 - 2.6GHz, with turbo level of 3.4GHz.

  • What would keep re-enabling sleep mode?

    I have all of my MacBooks set to not sleep while connected to wall current.  One keeps getting reset to go back to sleep.  That user swears he isn't doing anything like Command-Option-Eject.  WoL sometimes bring sit back, usually doesn't.  And I constantly see that sleep has been set back to 60.  I reset it to 0, and later it's back to 60 again.  How can I track down what's doing this?

    Still hoping to find an answer!  I tried "Restore defaults" in Energy Saver and turned sleep off while on AC.  No change.  Now, I've noticed that pmset tells me:
    sleep                60 (sleep prevented by AddressBookSour, powerd)
    Googling that tells me that some people have issues where their Mac CAN'T sleep... but this one still can!

  • Can't enable DMA mode with JMicron controller

    Working with this 975x is like pulling teeth. 
    Why does the secondary PATA port have to be the Jmicron POS?!  How can I get it to just use the intel controller?
    DMA won't work for my DVD drive hooked up to the secondary ATA.  I have it set to DMA if available, and it keeps using PIO mode.

    Yes, I can confirm that also, for what it is worth. I set up my new board some days ago but hadn't really tested the DVD drive yet. Although I felt and suspected everything was normal, I was very concerned after seeing and reading the problem threads on these boards. I have now tested it with a full 4.7GB burn and it took 13-14 minutes on a 4x DVD+RW, which is completely normal. Also, on checking the Nero log I see it reports "DMA: OFF" which is clearly false, but which a lot of people are complaining/worried about. Copying between hard drives (see specs) 'seems' to go at the right speed too. Windows reports 2 minutes when I dragged 3.12Gb across (quick test to see time although I cancelled it half way - not sure of the maths but seems about right from experience)
    Obviously Nero (and probably other applications) are NOT able to detect the true access mode of IDE drives under the JMicron controller.
    My specs:

    2x512MB Corsair 533Mhz
    Asus 7600GT
    320Gb SataII Western Digital (JMicron)

    I'm new to photoshop and am trying to learn to use the 3D funcitonality but am not able to get 3D mode to even turned on.
    Here's what I'm doing:
    new layer
    select text tool
    click on screen, type "Hello"
    highlight the text
    select 3D from the dropdown menu but only "Get more content" is available
    What am I doing wrong here?

Unfortunately, I am still have problems: I've tried highlighting the text and have also tried selecting the text layer in the Layers panel before attempting to click on the 3D menu - in both cases I am not able to select New 3D Extrusion From Seleected Layer:

  • Can not enable Debugging Mode in NWDS 7.2

            I install SAP CE7.2 and NWDS 7.2.. I'd like to debug the WebDynPro App. So i set-up the setting for system instance in AS JAVA-Config Tool as the following :
    - DebugMode : true
    - DebugPort : 1024
    - Debuggable : true
             After that i restart it and come back to NWDS and go to Run -> Debug Configuration and choose Remote Java Application(Can not found WebDynPro App as the tutorial in the board). I set the parameter as following :
    - Host : localhost
    - Port : 1024
            The error message show that 'Failed to connect to remote VM. Connection timed out.org.eclipse.jdi.TimeoutException'. How can i fix this issue. Please suggest me.

    Hi,
    A couple of things jump to mind:
    - Have you added your SAP CE server to NWDS server list?
    - If I'm correct, you should use Debug -> SAP Application, and from there you could define your WD application debug configuration
    In NWDS, open SAP Management Console perspective, from the process table select your debuggable server node, and hit 'Start debug session'

    I have the red X, I'm tried the steps outlined on support page. I get the apple logo to appear immediately press center and play and it holds at apple screen for a few seconds then goes back to red X? Any help I live a distance away from any apple store and really don't want to pay 30 bucks to get something fixed that's quite clearly an apple problem

    My iPad doesn't go into sleep mode when guided access is enabled despite having set "enable sleep mode" to on in the settings menu.  COnsequently, my battery life drains very quickly during the day as the screen doesn't dim or go into sleep mode at all.  Help!

    Seems this feature is lost with iOS 7.0.4.  I just bought 4 iPod Touches for employee use and NEED to have sleep mode enabled for guided access to conserve battery life.
    I did have 1 iPod that allowed me to enable sleep mode (and I tested that it allowed the top button to be pressed to immediately go to sleep), then after it ran the 7.0.4 upgrade it no longer allowed sleep mode when in guided access (I did not check the original version of iOS on the iPod but it was obviously older than 7.0.4).
    Is there some new hidden way to turn this on or did Apple delete the option?

    HP Officejet Pro 8625 - Will not acknowledge incoming fax while in sleep mode. The sender receives an error "no answer".
    When I call the fax number, if I touch the screen it will wake up immediately to receive the fax.
    Printing from the computer while in sleep mode works fine.
    Please advise.  Im missing important faxes and can only set sleep mode to a maximum of 15 mins, so I have an alarm set to touch my machine every 15 mins. sigh...

    Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see when your HP Officejet Pro 8625 enters sleep mode, you are unable to receive any incoming faxes. The senders will receive a 'no answer' error. I understand your printer will wake up from sleep mode if you send a print job.
    First let's go ahead and make sure the OJ 8625 is plugged directly into a wall outlet, using a power bar or surge protector can cause the printer to lose basic functionality over time.     I am not certain what you mean.  Are you saying that when you close the cover it does not sleep?  Are you certain you have a cover with the magnets that will put it to sleep?

  • T530 wakes up immediately after it entered sleep mode or hibernation mode.

    My brand new T530 comes with windows8, but I found a strange thing that it can 't enter sleep mode or hibernation mode, every time it will wake up immediately even I close the lid.  The battery will be ran out in several hours.
    Anybody has same problem?

    Attempt to enter sleep or hibernation, then when it wakes up right after, go to Command Prompt and run "powercfg -lastwake". It'll tell you what woke up the system.
