Can't enter loging information into NETFLIX from my Toshiba 47L6200U TV or keyboard

I just got a new Toshiba 47L6200U smart TV. Everything seems to be working fine. When I try to use Netflix and I get the login screen I am not able to enter any letters or characters into the username and password windows. Various Internet features work fine and the keyboard eventhough slow but seems to work fine.
Any ideas?

I believe you need to use the remote to enter the Netflix information. Press the OK button on the remote to open the on-screen keyboard.

When I logon sap portal, the CreateTicketLogon Module will generate logon tickets.there are serveral information in the logon ticket MYSAPSSO2 cookie including SID,UserId,Login timestamp.
My question is how can I add extra information into logon tickets. for example, I want to add more user's information like email address into logon ticket and pass to the SSO system.

Hi,
As far as I know there is no way of adding extra attributes to the SAP logon ticket. The logon ticket allows you to have two user names in it , so maybe if you setup a reference system and store the emailaddress as the username you can use this as a workaround.
If you need to get the logon ticket form EP you can either
1. Read the cookie MYSAPSSO2 from the IPortalComponentRequest
2. Get the user from IPortalComponentRequest and call getTransientAttribute("MYSAPSSO2_STRING") (not 100% certain of the last one , will have to look it up. Of course not a public api)

Só how could I do it with an external application. Is it possible? Can I even use iPhoto with the same library (since they share stuff) to do it?

Photos does not support to add location information yet.
Add the GPS before you import the photos to Photos. I hope this will change with the next release.
You could ,for example, first import to iPhoto, add the locations, batch change the titles and captions, do all the things that are not yet supported in the new Photos, then export the photos from iPhoto and import them to Photos.
Or use the free exiftool, if you like the Terminal.

Try:

Can't enter Titel Information in brand new 7.1 Itunes w/ previous library?!

ArrrGGG! With my new Itunes version 7.1 , installed in my new Pro Mac laptop, I am not able to write any information into the title information window, or title list rows for renaming my Titels and interpreters. It usually was done with one click, does this mean my imported music data from old mac is unaccessable now with this new version????

Yes of course I did that too, but the field remains grey and I can't type anything into it...how dumb, have I overseen something? ( my own music data in Itunes that I was easily able to edit before).That's why I was so amazed that it didn't work.Any ideas out there as to my possible mistake, or must I bring the new laptop to the shop...

I can't import cda files into itunes from a disc

I have a disc of 7 audio tracks that were recorded on a Mac and burned onto a CD using itunes. I was given this disc but I can only get the audio files to play on a PC. I have tried all methods of importing/copying into iTunes but it doesn't work - iTunes can't see the files. Please can you help?

No mp3 files from any source, including iTunes itself, or just some particular batch of mp3s files from some unspecified source? It isn't unusual for some encoders to produce mp3s that are not compliant with iTunes. You can try using the application MP3 Scan+Repair (http://triq.net/mac/mp3-validator-mac-os-x) to fix them but sometimes you have to re-encode them. Try playing with Quicktime Player instead and report if it will play the files.
Oh, it also isn't unusual that files do not have labels built in. They are adding to iTunes but not ending up where you expect them to be.

Entering license information into CF8 Developers Edition?

I have downloaded and installed CF8 Developers Edition.
I currently own CF 6.1.
I want to buy the upgrade to CF 8 and plug the license
information into CF8 Developers Edition so I don't have to
reinstall it. However, I can't seem to find anywhere within the CF
Admin to accomplish this. I have search on the CF Forum and even
contacted an Adobe Coldfusion Sales Rep., but no one can seem to
know how to do this. The Adobe CF website indicates that this is
possible.

top right corner
of the page to go to the System Information page.
Add your license in the New License filed and click Submit

I am trying to make a searchable repository of the Java API using JSP and MySQL. I wish to enter the following things into the database
1. Classes
(i) Name
(ii) Short Description
(iii) Package
(iv) Modifiers
(v) Link to JavaDoc page
2. Methods
(i) Name
(ii) Return Type
(iii) Parameters
(iv) Class
(v) Modifiers
(vi) Short Description
(vii) Link to JavaDoc page along with location on page
3. Fields
(i) Name

The approaches open to me are:
1. Write a custom doclet. Instead of writing to a file, enter into database using java.sql
2. Parse the index-files generated by standard javadoc tool.
3. Use reflection API - Short Description not available in that case.
The questions that I have are:
1. Is there any open source doclet that I can modify to get my job done?
2. Is there an XML file of the Java API that I can download and parse?
3. Which of the approaches I described above is the best?
I will be really grateful if someone could help me out with code that already exists.

As far as I understand, the basic thing you need is to have a doclet which takes certain data from Doclet API and export them into a certain basically plain-text file (that is XML or SQL file).
We provide a solution exactly for that sort of tasks -- a template-driven customizable doclet, which outputs into HTML, RTF and plain TXT formats.

IWeb pages gone! - can I reload them back into iWeb from my iDisk folder

Hi,
I reinstalled OSX on my iMac (dont ask...) but I forgot to save any info from iWeb on pages that are aready published. I reinstalled OSX but now iWeb is empty but my web pages are still active and the whole lot is still in my iDisk web folder.
Obvious question coming up.... can I get the pages / folder re-imported into iWeb?

Is there any standard function module in R/3 to fetch this information for a specified Material and Quantity.
If not, the database table where this schedule line information is being stored would help.

does this Function Module work also for Configurable Material? We currently face the issue that we replicate a quote from CRM to ECC and the confirmed date for the Scheduled Lines do not get populated due to a limitation. It seems, that currently it is not supported to get back the confirmed date for sub-line items that come from a configurable product.
The FM Module you mentioned seem like a good workaround?!?

Why can't I drop photos into iPhoto from internet?

I can't drop photos from ex. We Heart It or google into iPhoto, help!

I am struggling with similar difficulties.
I use an iMac G5 (Power PC) and a Canon PowerShot G6, which have been compatible with each other for 14 months. A couple of weeks ago, the Canon's rechargable battery ran low and, instead of connecting the camera to the iMac via the USB cable, I removed the SanDisk CompactFlash Ultra II card and imported photos on it via a SanDisk upload USB device. [The G6 manual recommends connecting the camera only when the battery is fully charged.] After the battery recharged, I took more photos and tried to upload them via the original Canon-supplied USB cable, but iPhoto did not launch. Because the camera turns on and indicates it's connected , I know it's not the USB cable [I actually ordered a new one, but the results are the same]. I've tried reformatting the SanDisk card in the camera, but this hasn't corrected the problem. However, if I connect the SanDisk device with card to the USB hub, iPhoto launches, identifying the device as "CANON_DC", complete with the little "eject" icon.
What am I forgetting? What would be the next step? Reinstalling the Canon software?

I was trying to create a new acount on AT&T Wireless and it wouldn't let me enter the @ into the email fields on the signup form. I reported it to AT&T support, but afterwards I realized that was dumb. It is more likely a bug with Safari. So thought I'd post the bug here.

I seemed to have at least solved my issue with not being able to type into text fields - though it did seem to be kind of a drastic thing to do.
I have Safari 5.1.2. Your mileage may vary.
I clicked on the top of the screen 'Safari' menu, then selected 'Reset Safari'.
It closes all of your browser windows and clears out all of your Safari saved site passwords and cached field entries. I don't really care about Safari saving my passwords as I use 1Password to remember all of my passwords with. Though there may be a stray one or two of them that I haven't found out about yet. Oh well!
When I did that, it closed out all of my Safari windows & tabs. I then restarted Safari and now everything seems to be working again!
There may be some options that you can choose when using 'Reset Safari' that will keep your saved passwords if that is important to you. I just left everything checked (Default).

Can I import CD's into iTunes from an external Firewire CD/DVD player?

The CD/DVD player on my iMac G4 broke and just wondering if I can hook up a cheap external Firewire CD/DVD drive (with RW capability) to my iMac and still be able to view DVD's and import CD's into iTunes?

Yes - connect the ext device - open iTunes - load a CD - it shouold appear in the left most column of iTunes under Devices - rip away.
To use that same ext device to burn then go to iTunes prefs>Advanced>Burning and select it from the drop down menu.
