Can't establish a Voice gateway (cisco 2911) using SIP with CUCM 9.1
I have configured a Cisco 2911 as a Voice Gateway using SIP (the configuration is attached), but unfortunately can't establish a test call to a phone (CUPC 8.6 SCCP) using csim start. I have done logging the ccsip debug and ccapi debug and attached them. Could anyone help me to solve this problem?
I just did some research on my end and csim is not supported for SIP. The Invite will never be created and sent to the CUCM to initate the call. It disconnects in the router itself with normal cause.

How does a voice gateway handle a call received from CUCM?
For example, I have a voice gateway configured via a SIP trunk as a device in CUCM. When our users dial the international pattern (8011!) and CUCM forwards that to the device(gateway) over the SIP trunk, how does the gateway handle that request in terms of matching dial-peers? Is it handled the same way a call incoming from the PSTN would be? By matching the destination pattern?
Ultimately what I'm trying to do is figure out whether our international calling is configured properly but that's difficult to do If I don't know what the gateway is doing with the call once it receives it from the CUCM.
Thanks in advance! Thanks, we have a conference call Monday and I'll try some debugging to see what's going on. I am a little more confused now if that's possible because my understanding is that they can make INTL calls but based off of the configs I've seen and what you've told me they should be able to. Below are my configs. There is a translation profile applied but it points to a blank rule. I also didn't see any transformations in the route pattern.

Look to using jQuery instead of Flash. There are a variety of redy-made solutions available, just search Google or visit the Dreamweaver forum and ask there.

Cisco TS 320 integration with CUCM
Dear Expert,
Is there any way we can integrate the TS 320 with CUCM without any conductor.
Means by SIP trunk or as Conference bridge.
BRI have TS on Media 320, so its means we can not use it as locally managed.
The TelePresence Server on Media 310/320 and Cisco TelePresence Server on Virtual Machine do not support locally managed mode; on these platforms, the
TelePresence Server must be managed by a system like Cisco TelePresence Conductor or Cisco TelePresence Exchange System.

Can I buy a windows wireless keyboard and use it with my MAC?
Can I use any wireless keyboard with my macbook? I am eyeing a logitech wireless keyboard and want to use it with my macbook as it seems to be a good value. Any thing I need to be concerned of when making that purchase?
<Post Relocated by Moderator>What's the model number for the one you're eyeing? Many Logitech products work fine with a Mac, but if you want to check for yourself, take a look through the logitech website: http://www.logitech.com/
If it doesn't state compatibility with a Mac, there's still the possibility it will work. But if you want the least hassle, make sure the one you're looking at is Mac-compatible.

Can a single Sun IDM gateway agent be used for both Dev and QA machine
We have three different machines - one for IDM QA, one for IDM DEV and one remote machine where Sun IDM gateway is installed.
If we run the Dev and QA gateway on the same server, we won't be able to test any updates in an isolated environment before rolling out to QA..right?
Is it possible to have a Sun IDM gateway agent instance on the same remote machine? or do we have to install gateway separately on DEV and QA? Any ideas??Hello Manidhar,
You have three different machines -
QA,DEV and IDM Remote gateway.
If we run the Dev and QA gateway on the same server,

environment before rolling out to QA..right?
you are right. you won't have an isolated environment for testing. it creates interdependancy between DEV/QA environments.
on the other hand, if DEV or QA server goes down, you end up loosing both the enviroments Gateway. it creates a SPF ( Single Point Failure) and it's not a best practice to do so from archicture point of view if you indend to maintain HA ( High Availability) 99.99% up-time.
Is it possible to have a Sun IDM gateway agent
instance on the same remote machine for DEV/QA?
this also creates a SPF situation.
or do we have to
install gateway separately on DEV and QA?
Since you have 3 different machines for 2 +1 Environments,
it is best practice to have
1. Seperate Gateway(s) for each Environment
1. For Dev, 1 For QA
so you have two isolated enviroments for testing, but also gives you the flexibility of keeping the QA Environment closer to Production possible without disturbing Dev
let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Sam

How can I add a field in Cisco ACS 3.3 with VLAN?
I'm trying to do Dynamic VLAN Assignment, could you describe what's the best way?
and if possible, how do I set the VLAN fiedl in ACS?Well it depends on whether your access device supports it.
Aironet APs support mac auth, where you put mac addresses instead of userids into ACS.
In NAC, to authenticate clientless endpoints, the switch/router has a feature called "mac auth bypass" where a pre-configured userid+password is sent to ACS along with the client mac address. ACS then applies NARs to filter on mac address.
Its a shame ACS doesnt have a true mac authentication feature.
So the answer really depends on your access device. -
Cisco 2811 - Multiple SIP with CME 8.6
PLAN:
Configure two SIP providers with my Cisco ISR 2811 using CME 8.6
sip.fongo.com
sip.voicediscount.com
All incoming and local outgoing calls using fongo, while long distance & international via voipdiscount.
I have successfully got fongo.com service to work for both incoming and outgoing, however when I try a long distance & international calls I get a busy tone.
Any help will be appreciated since I've had no luck

Can I make a non-flash slide show using Flash, with JPEGs not GIFs?
Since Flash .swf is not supported in iOS. I wanted to make a simple photo slide show with high quality JPEGs. How can I do this?
Look to using jQuery instead of Flash. There are a variety of redy-made solutions available, just search Google or visit the Dreamweaver forum and ask there.

How can I get to the photo tray when using iphoto with HP C6280 all-in-one printer
How do I get the photo tray option to come up in iphoto from my mac notebook when I have an HP C6280 all-in-one printer
I have an HP all-in-one C5140. When I print from iPhoto the dialog that comes up has a "Presets" drop down at the bottom. One of the choices is "Print from Photo Tray." Is that there on yours? If not make sure you have the latest software from HP.
