Can't export and can't explain it!

I've seen this post before but no answer was found -
I'm trying a export a sequence to MPEG 2 via QT conversion. When I try and save it, it states....
"the movie needs to be rendered before it can be encoded"
Well, it is rendered, and I have identical sequence (albeit with an extra audio track) which I have just exported successfully.
Any ideas how I can solve this problem? My deadline is today!

The audio mixdown is a final audio render of sorts to create the correct output channels you set in FCP's preferences. Or at least that's my understanding of it. For simple two to four audio track projects, it often isn't needed for the MPEG-2/AIF export, but for projects containing more complex audio (extra tracks, audio filters, etc) it usually is.

You definitely need to resurrect the old password associated with the Apple ID you used to purchase the music.

An email will be sent to the email address associated with that account with instructions regarding resetting that Apple ID's password.
If you no longer have access to that email, the resolution to this problem becomes considerably more difficult. In that event you would need to contact iTunes Support and explain your dilemma.

iPad can connect only in one iTunes Library. If you want to connect it to a iTunes Library then you have to erase it. You can erase it from iTunes. Make sure you iPad doesn't have a password, or if it has a password make sure that you connect to the computer and enter the password of your iPad

Is this a POP account, or an IMAP account? Did you enable your account type in Gmail?

Or if the project contains stills, these can be lengthened. Double-click on a still photo to open the Clip Inspector. Adjust the duration by typing in the Duration box. Be aware though that if you have transitions either side of the still, you may get odd results with the duration. See this thread for more details:

After doing some research, I found out that I had accidently hid iPhoto after I paused the download. After going into my apple id account and saw my hidden purchases, I found it. Thank you so much helping me though!

USING DISCOVERER DESKTOP CAN'T EXPORT AND GET ERROR ORA-00000

we use a win 2000 server to export discoverer reports by command-line methods.In the past ,everything is ok. But from last week , we found some reports always keep in export phase and can't export anything, also with ora-00000 error.
there are 2 things should be mentioned:
1. in the past , these reports can export without any error
2. we can export the same reports normally on another server(but we don't want to change server for some reason)
I know Oracle suggest we update to discoverer 10g, but it can't tell me why another client can export normally
so where is the cause?

If you have windows updates set to automatic it is possible that one of the recently applied updates has done this.

Keynote can't export. Can't stop and start playback

I have 45 slides. I have added audio (aiff and wav files) to 14 of them.
1. Regardless of which method, they won't export. I get a message that there is not enough room (which isn't so) or "something is wrong with the files.
I think something's wring with the the app. What a rip!
2. Keynote won't allow you to stop a playing presentation with a keystroke so you can explain a point and then hit a key and then continue the presentation.
(This is with v. 2.0.2, but 3.0 looks equally problematic based on what I see on the board.)

Regarding your export problem, it may be that one of the audio files is corrupt in some fashion, at least as Keynote sees it. I'd suggest adding half of them and see if you get the error message, then remove those and add the other half, and re-iterate this procedure to narrow down the potentially problematic file. (It may be that saving the audio file in a different format would take care of the problem.)
As for the second point, if you go the Keynote Help menu and select "Keynote Keyboard Shortcuts", you'll see in the "Playing a slideshow" section of the help document that there are several single-key options to pause a presentation, including "F" (pause presentation displaying current slide), B (pause presentation and show black screen). In KN2 this capability seems a bit wonky in terms of not preserving builds, but in KN3 it works perfectly.

Can't export and view imovies to fs10

I seem to have the opposite problem that many other have. I'm able to get video from my new fs10 to imovie '08 to edit and create a movie however I can't seem to get it off my MacBook to watch on tv. I've tried putting the movie in all kinds of formats onto an SDHC card and then play back through the a/v connection on the fs10 but it never reads any scenes on the card. I've even tried putting the card with the movie on it into my wii and it won't read it either. Please help. How can I watch my movies on my tv without burning a disc or connecting the computer directly to the tv?

How Schema can be exported and imported in Oracle Apex?

I am very new to oracle apex. I had installed Oracle XE database and apex successfully. I want to import an application to my apex. The application was created using workspace -Ver and Schema- Ves. I had imported the application and workspace into my apex. But, I am not able to run the application because, I had specified my default schema(HR) for the application. How can I import the schema 'Ves' ,in which the application is developed, into my apex?..so that I can run the application in the same schema..Please Help. Thanks

1. You make references to "import[ing] the application and workspace into +my+ apex - how many instances of oracle/apex do you have?
2. You say that you "specified [your] default schema (HR) for the application." I am assuming that you are referring to the "parsing schema"? If so, you can change this you know - it isn't 'set in stone' at the time you install.
3. With the above in mind, does the schema "Ves" exist at all in the 'target' Oracle instance /apex installation? If so, it may not be necessary to re-create it.
If you really do require to export/import the "Ves" schema, bear in mind that the DDL script will only create the schema objects - it won't load the data with it; you'll need to do that separately (or at least, code that element yourself into the script, if it's on the same DB instance). This might not be a problem for you but if your app relies on metadata from look-up tables and the like, it may not behave the way you expect, or even run at all...

There is a way to store custom settings for responsive design.
You can create custom settings in the responsive design mode window.
You can hold down the Shift key and drag the borders via the (right border, bottom border, bottom right corner) resize icons to get specific dimensions and give the current custom setting a name to add them as a preset.
This will add the preset to the <b>devtools.responsiveUI.presets</b> pref that you can inspect on the <b>about:config</b> page.
Those settings are stored in JSON format.

How can I export and import a score in flash?

I run a "Classic Game Show" night at a bar, and have created scoreboards in flash for games like the Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune, and others. Each team gets to compete in a few different games. This is all computer based, not on the web (so no PHP assistance please).
All I want to know is how to export a total score to a .txt or sharedobject file, (I'll set it up so when a keycode is entered, it exports the score value), and then when I switch games, I can import that score value back without having to type it myself on the scoreboard

With air you can create .txt or .dat or any simple text file with this:

So I've been working on a video project for several weeks now... but when I go to export the file to any format, or site like Facebook, Vimeo, Youtube, etc I get this error message...

If you are using the original version 10.0 with Mavericks then you simply update to the newer FCP X 10.1.1.
Be aware that this new version is very different in some ways particularly with the way media is managed.
There is now the Library method of storing Projects and Events within Libraries.
Older Projects and Events require an internal FCP X UPDATE process.
