Can't export anything except 1280x720

I'm using FCP 6 and have created a 720x480 timeline on which I've edited a 3-minute video. The problem is no matter what setting I select to export a mov file, it exports at 1280x720. I can't use Compressor because I need a mov file.
Any suggestions?

IN FCP, go to the menu File > Export > QuickTime Movie . . . and when the export dialog box opens, make sure your settings are set to Current Settings and you have Make Movie Self-Contained checked.
Export your movie. Open the movie in QuickTime 7 and once it is open, go the menu Windows > Show Movie Inspector. Look at the Normal Size, not the Current Size and see what the actual exported file dimension are.

Suddenly can't export anything...."Codec Error"

I'm using FCE HD 3.5.1 on a Mac Pro and have been using the program successfully for months until just recently.
It has now come to the point where I can't export my four minute movie at all. I simply get a message that reads "Codec error".

One quick update - I tried uninstalling using AppZapper and then reinstalled STP 3.0 again - and it seems like I can now export to MP3, but not WAVE or AIFF.
Also, the mic input being garbled seems to have been fixed as well.
Am I missing something? All I'm trying to do is:
1. Create a Multi-track project
2. Record about 10 seconds of audio to one (stereo) track.
3. Do a multi-take on that track
4. Pick the pieces I want in the final composition
5. Render out the main composition to wav
I've been able to do steps 1-4 just fine - but for whatever reason I can't get ste 5 working at all!

You will need to connect it to a computer's iTunes, and you should then be able to reset it back to factory defaults : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212

What do you mean 'not in sync with any account' ? Do you mean that you don't have a backup to restore back onto it, either on a computer nor in the cloud ? If not then you might be able to redownload some/all of your past purchases via the Purchased tabs in the store apps on it

My Firefox freezes every so often and when it freezes, it stays frozen for a half hour or so. No matter how many times I quit and restart it, it still freezes as soon as it opens up and I can't click anything except the quit button. Why?

I am on FF and it suddenly freezes. The window says that it is not responding and it doesn't start to respond again. So I quit and open it up again. It loads all the basic images and then freezes again and stops responding. I try over and over again to quit and restart it, but it never responds and I have to swith over to using Internet Explorer when FF does not respond. Why does it do this?

I didn't think the first page would help me because I could still add, delete and edit my bookmarks, then restart the browser and it would've saved the changes. Also, I didn't think the second page would help me because my browser didn't have any of the symptoms listed. The problem I had wasn't with adding, deleting, or editing the bookmarks. I simply couldn't organize my bookmarks in a certain folder because the bookmarks would jump around when I tried to move them. However, I looked down the second link's page and found a section titled "Problems limited to bookmarks". I did what the first sentence told me to and it allowed me to FINALLY organize that folder!

How can I export a stylesheet (either CSS or XSLT) with XML from indesign?

Hi,
I am using indesign CS4. I want to export style sheet whether it is CSS or XSLT file with xml.
I try to get it but can't.
Also the XML i am exporting does not styles that has been applied by me while creating the file in Indesign.
Please help me out by telling me the way how can i get a stylesheet and also how can I embed that style sheet with XML so that my XML file looks similiar to the indesign file.

CSS is not an XML style sheet, it's an HTML style sheet. "Export to HTML" will export an empty stylesheet for the paragraph and character styles. ID cannot convert its (very advanced) typographic capabilities to the (very limited) CSS notation, and thus it defaults to exporting the names only.
XSLT is not an XML style sheet either; it's a transformation format (http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt).
I try to get it but can't.
Also the XML i am exporting does not styles that has been applied by me while creating the file in Indesign.
XML Export does not export anything except the items you tagged with the Auto-tag feature, or you tagged yourself. If you need your styles tagged, use Map Styles to Tags (http://www.adobe.com/accessibility/products/indesign/mapping.html).
XML has almost nothing to do with styling -- ideally, XML describes document structure while styles describe formatting.

USING DISCOVERER DESKTOP CAN'T EXPORT AND GET ERROR ORA-00000

we use a win 2000 server to export discoverer reports by command-line methods.In the past ,everything is ok. But from last week , we found some reports always keep in export phase and can't export anything, also with ora-00000 error.
there are 2 things should be mentioned:
1. in the past , these reports can export without any error
2. we can export the same reports normally on another server(but we don't want to change server for some reason)
I know Oracle suggest we update to discoverer 10g, but it can't tell me why another client can export normally
so where is the cause?

Presumably you have tried rebooting?
If you have windows updates set to automatic it is possible that one of the recently applied updates has done this.

Can't export form to fillable PDF or move to online!

I have been messing with Forms Central for the past two hours trying to get my form to export. After reading I assumed it was due to not having a paid version so I just subscribed for the Basic plan and I still can not export anything. The error message I am recieving is the most unhelpful error, "Acrobat.com encountered an unexpected error."
This occurs when I try to export as a PDF or when I try to move it online. I have tried running in Admin mode, updating flash but I am still having no luck! Please help.
EDIT: UGHH my email is my screen name.. Is it possible to change that as well? I don't want a flood of spam heading my way.

What is the version of your desktop version of FormsCentral?
Did you download FormsCentral or you are using the one that came with Acrobat?
After you signed in, did you get an update message? When did you do your last update?

Can't export AT ALL since 1,1,1

Since 1,1,1 I can't export anything: I click on any option (email, version, master) and nothing happens!.
Also I can't get the preference panel open nine times out of ten.
Of course I TRASHED my pref, but nothing happens.
So far I did not need Aperture for my work so I did not panic, but now I'm afraid I need it! :-c
Can any one help me?

I'm afraid I will indeed have to reinstall, I did it once in the past and had problems getting aperture to recognise my "old" library.
This said: how do I reconstruct my library when I can't export anything?

Just bought new replacement iphone from apple store and less than two hours later, the screen went blurry and I can barely see anything. Phone still functions fine though.

Just bought a new replacement phone at the apple store and as soon as I got home, vertical lines came up through the screen and now it's extremely blurry. All the functions of the phone still work fine and I really can't see anything except a small part of the screen at the top. I called the apple store and he told me to put the phone in recovery mode on my computer and the restore and update it. I did this and I can tell the phone has restored yet it is still extremely blurry and I can't see anything to type it in. Is there anything I could do with this? The apple store is over an hour away and saving another trip down there would be great. Thanks

I can't export or render in adobe premiere!! HELP HELP!!

I Can't export anything at all.

The reason I couldn't export was my video layer was H264 and my lower third was a nested animation codec as well as my end graphic. I exported movies without lower third and then composited them in after effects for my final render to youtube. see here: MAR1 1 - YouTube

CS4 InDesign "Export" anything but: can't export to anything but PDF

After two uninstallation/reinstallations of the whole frickin' CS4 Master Collection, and deleting the Defaults file repeatedly, InDesign still refuse to Export anything other than the first format that displays (usually, PDF -- although once I got it to display XML).
Go to Export, select INX as type, file name shows as *.pdf - swipe off PDF, even insert ".INX", click Save and the "Export Adobe PDF" dialog displays. It's not only driving me nuts, but I have a printer who is on CS3 and I have a brochure that needs to be printed, now...
Bless anyone who has a clue or idea or registry hack...
Later: Export works fine from my laptop. The only difference is that, yes, I got suckered into downloading the final-that-wasn't, but had left CS3 installed. Re-downloaded and installed the final-that-is, uninstalled CS3, re-installed the final-that-is, then went on to a couple of more reinstallations (on my workstation). For the laptop, I'd initially uninstalled CS3, then went through the final-that-wasn't and final-that-is dance.
I suspect there is a registry key somewhere that I can't locate...

Ouch. And that probably explains what happened to the OP. A corollary to my above post is that people who download the first release version (or install from the disks before the first service release) are only slightly less at risk for problems than beta testers. When we work on the cutting edge, occasionally we shed a little blood. :)
