Can't figure what setting my phone is on - duh!

Hi everyone.
This may sound odd, but I've been into every setting on my phone and can't figure out the problem. I suspect my 1 year old has changed something but can't figure out what. I have a headphones on my display and have no sound coming through my phone. It rings but when I answer it, it's as though the caller is on mute. I suspect if I got some headphones and plugged them into the phone I may be able to hear something. Does anyone have any suggestions?

there aren't any settings on the phone that will change the phone thinking there's a headset plugged into it.
have u tried a soft reset on the phone? to do that, turn the phone off, take the battery and SIM out for about 10 minutes then put everything back in and turn it back on

it's in system preferences > security and privacy > general > show a message when the screen is locked.

Can't figure what's wrong in my menu rollover/rollout project

What I was trying to do is make menu similar to one from http://www.jeremylevine.com/
I was seeking around and couldn't find a clue how was it done, so I tried my way.

You'll notice that, when crossing from middle button to one of the other two, it falls down smoothly, but when crossing from side buttons to the middle, it fails to play the frame that should do the smooth part of animation.

I was trying to figure why it doesn't play, since code is the same for both buttons, but I'm obviously missing something.
Maybe the second pair of eyes would spot something and I'd be thankful
And the other question.. is there any less complicated way from what I'm heading to.. in order to make menu like in the first link above ?

Probably it's something most won't bother, but I thought it may be more convinient because code itself may be a little hard to figure through, without following content.
Ok, I'll try to explain as much as I can
Every button has it's rollover, rollout action depending on current possition of other movieclip (button). By that I tried to tell the clip, if the cursor is coming from the next button, or blank scene.
There are 3 button sizes : Normal, Large1, and Large 2. As you probably figured, selected button has size Large2, and neighbour buttons follow with size Large1, rest of them are normal.
So, by default, every rollover goes from frame "Normal to Large2" and rollout goes from frame "Large2 to Normal". After reaching "Normal" it goes and stops to frame 1.
Before doing default action, it checks if one of the neighbour buttons is Not on frame 1 (which means it's travels from frame Large2 to Normal, and that neighbour button was previously active), and then if that's the case, it redirects neighbour button to play "Large2 to Large1" and current button to go from "Large1 to Large2".
And here's how code looks like:

Problem is, only middle one does the correct "l2-l1" tween, other two just return with trace message, but don't play suggested frame

How can I tell what setting was used to create a received PDF?

I get PDFs all the time and I can't find a way of knowing if the PDF was created using Press Quality, Standard, Smallest File size other than just looking at it and zooming in.
Is there a menu item or trick that will tell me how this PDF was created?

The image was almost 9 inches by 7 inches at 300 ppi and I reduced it to about 3 inches wide in my document. I almost never blow-up images unless they can take it without losing resolution.
Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. I went to preflight > sheetfed offset, clicked on Analyze and got lots of readings. The one that said "Resolution of color and grayscale images is less than 150 ppi. This might be insufficient for proper print results." is the one that threw me.
It's too bad that I just can't read how the file was created. Most of clients I deal with make PDFs and never look at the settings they use. I'm in the printing business.
I've just been looking at the PDFs sent to me and zooming in to see if they'll hold up but I'd really like something more accurate.

What setting do I select that prevents an app that's been deleted from the iPhone from re-loading back from iCloud after a Sync? I don't want to permanently delete the App from iCloud, as I want the option to load it back at a later date. I can't find the Setting that does this. Is it a setting on the iPhone or in iTunes on the Mac?
I know this can be done, as my iPad is operating this way. But my wife's iPhone isn't. I can't remember what setting I used to get it to do this.

I just tried it. I deleted an app from the phone. When I connected to iTunes instead of a Sync button there were 2 buttons, Revert and Apply. And the app I deleted had an Install button. Perhaps if you don't click Apply the app will be reinstalled.

Go to your home screen, and then press the volume down or up button. It should say Ringer instead of volume. If it doesn't do that, try going into the clock app and try it there.

Double click the home button (square) and all the things you did are there.keep sliding the bar that will come up on the bottom to the left till it cant go anymore there should be a icon looking like this.press that and it should work

Your only recourse is to force it into DFU mode:
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.

I also have not figured out how to mirrow either. I ask you both, is the sound via the projector louder than the phone itself when projector is tuerned off? No matter what I do the max vilume through the projector speakers is lower that the phone itself even with phone remaining installed in projector. I am think of taking it back to try another one.

Anyone having or had a problem with kernel_task running uploads in back ground and can't figure out what its doing

My iMac is running kernel_task and using a lot of upload bandwidth. I talked to isp this morning he said that I was topping out on the upload side while download was normal. He also said that it started about 3 weeks ago but I've been looking and trying to remember what I did as far as installing or changing setting and I can't figure it out, also using a magicjack on computer but tried without it and still the same and its hard to use the phone when other party only gets every other 4 or 5 words. HELP PLEASE!! driving me crazy.

You have something that is uploading data from your network, so you may have a runaway application doing this. If you quit all your running applications does the problem still exist? If so then you may have a corrupted system process.
Open Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder. Select All Processes from the Processes dropdown menu. Click twice on the CPU% column header to display in descending order. If you find a process using a large amount of CPU time (>=70,) then select the process and click on the Quit icon in the toolbar. Click on the Force Quit button to kill the process. See if that helps. Be sure to note the name of the runaway process so you can track down the cause of the problem.
Create a new user account with admin status, then log out of your account and log into the new account. Does the problem still exist?
Also, try basic repairs:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
