Can't fill in any text using mail templates.

When trying to email photos via iPhoto 11 I can't insert text into the provided text boxes. The formatting options pop up but my cursor doesn't appear. Photos send okay though. It seems to be a recent problem.

In photoshop elements under Edit>Preferences>Type, uncheck
Font Preview Size. Then restart photoshop elements and see if that
changes anything.
If the type tool works, try turning the font previews back on and restart
elements. If the type tool doesn't work again, you may have a corrupt font.

Create a Form in Acrobat Standard that can be filled out AND SIGNED using Free Reader

I am tasked with creating forms that can be read, filled out and signed and submitted electronically by users that have only the reader software. I am using Acrobat 5 standard. I have not yet found a way to successfully create a form field that would allow users to insert a signature of some sort. This signature does not have to be encrypted, or use the digital signature system Adobe Acrobat has where you create a profile, log in, etc. It could be as simple as the ability to insert a jpeg or other image of their handwritten signature. This is to avoid having to have them fill it out, and then print it and fax or scan it in. It would be great if they could fill it out and then just save it and email it. How would I do this, or is it even possible?

With AA5, there is no capability to submit a signature - even electronic. You can create a form that can be filled out, signed in the sense of adding a name and date, and submit to a web site.
Insertion of images is not part of forms with AA5, but I think has become possible recently. Even so, they reader would also have to be compatible with the feature to be able to use it. If the typing of the name and the date would do, then you can add those fields - sort of the limit with AA5.
With AA5, they can not save the form with the data. They can submit the data as an FDF file to a web site. If you have control of the client machines, then you can consider e-mail since those issues can be worked out locally. Without control of the clients (like a general form on the web), don't bother with e-mail since there will always be some that have problems.

I can't past in any text from Photoshop to Premiere, RTL or LTR Latin, Hebrew or Arabic text to Premiere Pro cc 2014. It works only between Photoshop 2014 - AE 2014.

Any one suffering from the same issue?
I use to write text RTL(right to left) written languages like Arabic and Hebrew in Photoshop, where after copy and paste the text in Premiere to get the job done. With the latest version of Adobe cc 2014 I can't copy and past any text in to Premiere from Photoshop any more, not even text written in latin. Any one has the same problem or work around this issue possibly. It still works fine to copy/paste arabic text written on Photoshop in to After Effects, but Premiere pro 2014 when you paste any text.
I'm sure this forum works as feedback for Adobe in general and my question is:
- Does adobe have any intention in the future to implement RTL text writing in Adobe CC or not? Could any one please answer this question from ADOBE?
As media consultant I can only recommend for my clients using RTL to use Apple FCP X which has built in RTL support and a new way of editing and greater workflow.

Please check this blog post. Updating from Time Machine can cause this issue: Premiere Pro CC, CC 2014, or 2014.1 freezing on startup or crashing while working (Mac OS X 10.9, and later).

How can I obtain a return receipt using Mail?

I have never had to use a password as the administrator of my imac. I simply clicked OK without filling it in and it worked just fine. I downloaded Mavericks, and I was asked to enter the password as the administrator. I cannot do so. How do I fix this?

I'm confused. Your question has NOTHING to do with the subject title.
1) You cannot obtain a return receipt using Mail. That functionality does not exist.
2) If your admin password is blank, then just hit return. I cannot believe you have NEVER seen an administrator password prompt in normal use of the OS, unless you've only used OS X for an hour total.

You could achive this very easily(but this shouldn't be used in production code as it'll be difficult to manage as the project grows) by defining a static data member varibale of DataType Label something like below, (modified/added code in BOLD)

WCS + can't recreate the 'any' group in ACL template

ON WCS, I'd like to configure an ACL by using a template.
When I go to Configure > Controller Template Launch Pad > Security > Access Control > IP Groups,
we can find, normally, a group named "any" to use in the rules.
On one of my WCS, this 'any' group has been deleted.
It seems impossible to recreate a new one because an IP Adress must be provided in the format [1-255].[0-255].[0-255].[0-255]
Do you an idea on the way to solve this problem ??

Can no longer past formatted text into Mail in iOS 5...

With iOS 4.x on my iPad, I was able to past in rich, formatted text from other apps. So I could compose an email with colored text, different fonts/sizes, bulleted lists, etc. in another app and past it into Mail. It would keep all of it's formatting.
With the upgrade to iOS 5, this no longer works. Everything I paste into Mail has no formatting. I saw this first on my iPad 2 but I just tried on my iPhone 4S and the result was the same.
Even if I receive colored text in an email, I can't copy it from one place in the email to another and keep the color format.
Is there some new setting that is disabled that stops me from doing this? Is anybody else seeing this problem?

I am using indesign CS2 and i'm trying to import a Word document into a new chapter for a book i'm laying out. it's about 30 pages, but there are at least 80 foot notes. i'm able to get about 1/2 of the document with the footnotes to flow correctly, then EVERYTHING disappears. the only way i've been able to get the remaining text to appear is by adding characters to the text. i'll hit "vvvvvvvvvvvv" a bunch of times and "magically" a little chunk of text and it's footnotes appears. then the ole disappearing act happens. so i do it again. i'm able to get all the text to appear finally, but when i delete the "vvvvvvvvvv" from the places i inserted them, the text disappears again. i have no idea why this is happening or how to fix it. any ideas?

Content Text using Mail Adapter

Hi everybody, and happy New Year.
I've got this kind of scenario:
2 messages (material and document) and I must use them both to compose the body of an e-mail. Only, the mail adapter just has 1 content field, of type string. My problem is that I have to compose a complex text, which is difficult to do by using the said content field.
I know it should be possible to use UXML to compose the text, but I have no clue where to start from.
Any suggestions guys? guides, tips, hints, whatever.

How can I save a screenshot as a jpg? I want to create a signature using a jpg in Thnderbird as you can't have graphics as signatures using Mail

I am findinit difficult to rely on Mail so have used Thunderbird so that I can add screenshots and use different fonts in my email messages but iI now can't find a compatible programme to use to create jpgs from sreenshots which I used to be able to do with Irfanview and Photfiltre but i dont htink I can use these with a Mac. I have been told Xee is possible but will it do what I want and if so how?

Not sure what you mean by not being able to use graphics as part of your signature in Mail. I use them all the time.
Or are you referring to the recipients not being able to see the graphic when they receive the email?

How can I load and save text using FileReference class

Let me start by saying I have no intention of using php and I can't wait until flash cs5 comes out with its new read/write capabilities
I want to load and save XML files (stored on my local hard-drive) in AS3.
I am using the FileReference class.
Firstly I have noticed that when using FileReference.save if you replace an existing file instead of writing over the file data is appended to the end of the file. Can I make it so the file is overwritten (as it should be) or make it impossible for the user to save in such a situation.
Secondly I want to load in text from an external file using FileReference.load I know that somehow you use FileReference.browse first to get it to work but I want to know exactly how to do it.
I have looked for a tutorial about loading text in this manner and have not found one.
Any help would be much appreciated especially if you could point me in the direction of a relevant tutorial

the filereference class is for downloading and uploading files.
if you want to load xml, use the xml class.
and, if you want to write to an xml file and don't want to use server-side code, wait.

How to: Send any document using mail via "Right click"

Hello-
Does anyone know how to send a document, whether it is a Word, Eccel, Pages doc, etc. via a "Right Click" or similiar key stroke as we can on a WinPC? I am certain it is possible, and the closest commandIi have found is the "Services:Mail" drop down which is seemingly useless (i.e. I do not know how to make use of it). Any suggestions are appreciated. Thx

Try this if you want to add an attachment to a new mail message:
1. Open Automator.
2. In the Library column, click on Mail.
3. In the Action column, double click on New Mail Message.
3. In the Action column, double click on Add Attachments to Front Message.
4. In Automator>File>Save As Plug-In...>Save Plug-in As: (Type your desired name here) Plug-in for: Finder>(Save)
Right click on the file you wish to attach and select Automator>(your desired name).
If you know where you actually want to send the message, enter the specific information required in step 3, and add/select "Send Outgoing Messages" after step 3.

I have accidentally deleted my IMAP password from my key chain, therefore i can no longer access my emails using mail. I can access my email through my Gmail account no problem, so how do i fix this as i cannot remember my IMAP password.

The password for use in the Mail application would be the same password you use when accessing Gmail by using an internet browser. The exception to that would be if you have 2-step verification enabled for Gmail. If that is the case then you would need to use an "application-specific password." If you are using 2-step, you can revoke the previous application-specific password and get a new one as described in https://support.google.com/mail/answer/1173270?hl=en

I can send but not receive email using Mail and Comcast

My incoming mail [Mac Mail 3.6(936) ] slowed and now has stopped. I get error message "mail.comcast.net" on port 995 timed out. I can send. I can receive at Comcast.net. I have tried changing the port setting to 101 and no SSL and 587 (the comcast online set up guide), etc. and sometimes it works once then fails again. I have deleted the p-list in the Mail Library and restarted and still nothing.
I deleted the account and set it up again but still no luck. Oddly the Preferences says deleting the Accounts will delete everything but the Mailboxes are still there. Part of the problem?
I do not have this issue using Thunderbird which is a program I do not like.
I used Comcast's various online guides, a long useless chat and useless email to no avail. My Primary Account Holder email (which I never use) works but not my every day email account.

Run the disk permissions utility....see if a repair works....
On the mail menu, go to Window => Connection Doctor - do you see errors (red dot) If so, what does it say the error is caused by?

How can I listen to a text using Siri whilst phone is locked?

Hi I have just been playing with my new 4s and I would like to listen to a text through my headphones whilst biking. But it's annoying as Siri says I need to unlock my phone first. Is there settings to overwrite this? Also why can't I listen to an old message from someone? Even if it's the last one and if I voice the contact.

Why can't I select all text in mail?

I just upgraded my iPhone 4 to IOS 5, and noticed that I no longer have the option to 'select all' in a mail document?!? If I tap & hold on the document, my choices are 'copy', 'define', and 'speak'. The select all option is no longer present. I use this feature quite a bit & I really want it back. Is there some setting I can change somewhere?

i got same issue like you on iOS 5.0.1, not only in mail but also in safari or other apps.
sometimes i can make the 'select all' option out but when i did it, did nothing.
