Can't find a specific photoshop tutorial

It was on Adobe.tv several months ago..
It was about masking and using a gradient to feather a mask to blend layers together.
The sample photos were a closeup of a man on the right side of the screen and the other photo was a open field.
The tutorial was to insert the photo of the man into the other using a mask and a gradient w/brush to blend the two together smoothly.
Anyone seens this or know of a similar tutorial using this technique?

Where can I find the file Photoshop .exe in CS6/Windows7 ? It is not in the usual place.

Click on the Start button.
Type Photoshop into the search field.
"Adobe Photoshop CS6" will be listed, probably at the top.
Hover your mouse over the words Adobe Photoshop CS6 - the location will be displayed.
To open the folder containing Photoshop.exe , with your secondary mouse button, click on "Adobe Photoshop CS6" and select "Open file location".

MBP can't find one specific wifi network.

The hotel where I live offers free wifi (The Cloud) and for months I've been using with full signal.
Suddenly my MBP (mid 2010) was unable to find this network.
My iPad and my iPhone (and friend's devices) are still connecting at any time with perfect full signal.
I've tried holding alt+cmd+P+R at boot to reset PRAM and NVRAM but it still can't find that specif wifi network.

Update: after another NVRAM and PRAM reset (alt+cmd+P+R) the wifi network shows up but I'm still unable to connect to it. When selected I've got a message of "connection timeout occurred" and the network disappears again.
*All software is up to date.

Yeah...that's the one thing that's odd about PS Touch; you'll have to browse for your desired images. I'm not sure if it expects for the user to have what could be hundreds of images in a folder (which is why I would prefer to go through Android Gallery; I can open the first image from Android Gallery into PS Touch, but if I want to add any more I have to do it PS Touch's way).

Where can I find a useful JCAPS tutorial?

Simple question. There was tutorial documentation for 5.1 which I can no longer find. All I can now find are the pages for JCAP6, and I cannot find a beginners tutorial there. Help with a link, please.

My iPad can't find my specific Wifi network

Hello,
About two days ago while on my iPad, my wifi connection suddenly dropped from my network. I didn't think much of it because my room is far from my router, so I went downstairs and tried to connect. However, my iPad couldn't find my wifi network. It showed all the other networks around my house that it normally does, but not mine, I thought my router may have possibly shut off, but my iPhone, computers, and Xbox all connected fine. I tried restarting the iPad, resetting network settings, turning airplane mode on and off, restarting the iPad while airplane mode was on... nothing. I restarted my router several times, nothing.
I'm not sure what the issue is, as again it is specifically my wifi network that the iPad can't find, even though there's 5 iPhones, one mac, one laptop, 2 Xbox's, and 2 other iPads that can all connect to my wifi without a hitch. Is this some sort of known issue with the iPad? It's an iPad 2, by the way. Or do I have to take it in to a store?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

I know I found them recently after a looooooong search, but this time around, no luck.
What has sun done? Why is it impossible to find any specification (JSTL, JSP, Servlets, Java Persistence API and so on)????

A search for [url http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=jstl+specification&meta=]JSTL specification gave me several different valid options.
The best of which was the link from the [url http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/jstl/reference/api/index.html]sun JSTL page after clicking on "API specifications" from on the menu on the left.
Of course after learning this, I went to the [url http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/] JSP product page, clicked on [url http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/reference/api/index.html] "API Specifications" and found links to JSP specs from 1.2 upwards.
Continue following this simple pattern, and you can find all the API/Specification documents you want.

Can't find any specifications of ext. DVD drive PA3402U-1DV2

i have just purchased an Toshiba External DVD Super Multi Drive (PA3402U-1DV2) but i can't find any kinda specs for it.. i would like to know the speed and some info on the drive.

One tip: The external drive is not bootable. So you will be not able to boot from the CD or DVD!

How can I find out specifically what plugins are missing? Am told missing, then plugin finder tells me no suitable found, I would look for them myself but have no way to find out what exactly need to look for.

I go into a wiki created by my employer, and get the bar at top of page almost immediately telling me there are plugins needed. If there is no LR edits to keep, or if you don't want to keep the existing edits, you could delete the files from LR and import them again.
Since the file names on disk and file names in LR don't match, you will need to manually match them up by hand individually, if you want to keep the existing LR edits.
The easiest approach to this -- without doing any script programming -- is to go into each directory, one at a time:
Select the correct folder in the "folders" pane. Right-click "show parent" as necessary to see the directory tree.
Sort the LR Library by creation date.
Using the details view in File Explorer, sort the files by creation date (add to the viewed columns if necessary).
Assuming no more than 1 image per second, the files should line up.

How can I find exact specifications of my Hitachi 320 Gig drive in my MBP

I bought a early 2009 15" 2.66 Gig MBP with a 320 Gig internal Hitachi drive. I want to find the exact model number so I can sell it on ebay, as I bought and installed a 500 Gig 7200 RPM model. Can't find the exact model number anywhere. And can't read the description on the drive - it is so darn small.

How about a magnifying glass? Apple uses different drives in their machines, and System Profiler will give the model number of the installed drive. But, since you've removed it already...
But, you know it's a Hitachi, do you remember the drive speed you ordered? If it's a 5400 rpm drive, it's most likely the Hitachi Travelstar 5K320, and if a 7200 rpm drive, the Travelstar 7K320.
