Can't find Access DB

Hi,
I'm trying to create an Access datasource but the server
browser doesn't show the database in the folder it is in.
If i manually write the name of the db in Database File field
it says it can't find the the db file.
What should i do.

I am running Vista Home Premium and CF 6.1 Updated (build
63958). In trying to create a CF Datasource for an Access database
on my PC, I encountered the error "Unable to update the NT
registry.
Variable DRIVERPATH is undefined."
I had created a SYSTEM DSN using the Windows ODBC
Administrator (Control Panel, Administrative Tools).
When I used the CF Administrator to create a new CF
Datasource, using the same name as the DSN, it populated the
Database field with the correct database file. I submitted the
request and encountered the error. I tried to verify the Datasource
in the Connected Datasources panel and it returned an error. I
edited the entry, clicked the browse button to select the database,
and submitted it again. I got the error again, but when I
re-verified the Datasource, it returned OK!
Go figure!

Can't find "Access requests and invitations" in PS2013

Hi
I can't see Access requests and invitations on a project site settings. Do I need to enable anything else besides ticking the box for <label for="ctl00_PlaceHolderMain_ctl00_chkRequestAccess">Allow access requests?
I tried to follow the instructions on
this thread but I can't find the </label>Global External Sharing
in the SharePoint Central Administration, because this is not a Project Online instance.

Photosmart c309a can't find access point to Mac Mavericks OS

I've owned probably ten HP printers. I've been thru five of them in five years and I'm beginning to think I need another brand. I have a 2010 Mac running Mavericks OS, a Netgear 802.11 wireless router, an Apple Air Port and Norton. I installed the c309a All-in-One printer last year for the first time. By spring of this year, the scanner function stopped working. The other day, the printer wouldn't print. I think the power plug might've come undone but I'm not sure. I selected a new print queue as I've done in the past and still no connection with the printer. I made sure connections were secure. No luck. I turned the printer off and restarted. Still nothing. I ran diagnostics: "Your HP printer cannot find your access point." The Network Name (SSID) was not found. I unplugged everything. I uninstalled the software, I reinstalled the software. Each time, the installation process would hang up at the configuration stage and the disc would spin and spin. I tried connecting via USB to my Mac, but that failed too. I rebooted my AirPort. I even tried to manually enter the IP address on the AIO keypad. No success getting the printer to recognize my Mac. I succeeded at making an ad hoc connection using the wireless radio with hpsetup as the SSID. The next day, when I needed to print, the hpsetup network option was unavailable and diagnostics told me the wireless radio wasn't working! Per online forum suggestion, [edited reset instruction by Moderator] That trick reset my wireless radio but still the c309a is unable to find my access point and I can't print using my 802.11 wireless. If I can't solve this problem, I will not buy another HP printer. I hope someone can help. Thank you for your time.

I see that you are unable to setup the printer over the wireless network. I would really like to be able to help you resolve this issue.
Restore the printer defaults.
Go to Setup, Network, Restore Network Defaults.
Print the Wireless Network Test.
Go to Setup, Network, Advanced Setup, Wireless Network Test.
If it passes, then it isn't a hardware issue with the printer.
If it passes, setup the Adhoc connection again.
Click the Airport on the top right corner on the Mac.
Click on the HP printer from the list. (you won't be on the internet till this procedure is finished)
Add the printer and try and print to see if the wireless is working properly.
Check the Configuration Page for the printer's IP address.
Go to Setup, Network, View Network Settings, Display Wireless Summary.
If you have a valid IP address for the printer then try and access the Embedded Web Server for the printer.
Type the IP address into your web browser's address bar. (Safari)
When setting up the printer, it has to be setup on the main router not the extension.
Go to the network tab along the top of the EWS.
Click on Wireless Setup Wizard along the left hand side to begin configuring the printer.
Apply your settings.
You have now completed the Wireless configuration.
Click the Airport on the top right corner on the Mac and select your network name.
Click on the Apple.
Click System Preferences, click the Printers and Scanners icon, then click the + sign, then select the printer from the list, make sure the printer listed beside use: shows the proper printer name, click on the add button. You might have to click on the drop down to select your printer.
Test the printer.

Things seem to be harder to locate in Logic Pro X. I cannot find where or how to access my Virus Snow TI synthesizer within Logic Pro X. Can anyone tell me where to look or how to do this? Thanks in advance!

The Virus has its own OS X compatible operating system and sound sets, as well as drivers and firmware updates. Under previous versions of Logic Pro, you could select it and it would open a Virus TI screen that hovered over Logic Pro main screen, where you could select sounds leads, pads, etc from that screen. I believe the actual sounds reside in Virus hardware memory. Yes, I have recently installed the latest Mavericks compatible Virus updates.

HT4064 can't find accessibility in general

After tapping "general," i'm supposed to tap "accessibility," but on my ipad mini "accessibility" is not listed. where is it? I'm trying to enlarge fonts.

Oh that! The screen can be captured by quickly tapping the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time. The resultant picture is saved to the "Camera Roll". In this case I turned the iPad to portrait mode to show more of the screen and the Accessibility menu for the OP. Of course I had to switch to a different browser (Dolphin) to post the picture.

Firefox gave me a warning about a site and I set an exception. The site that was warned against has asked me for a screenshot, but I can't find how to remove the exception in order to replicate the warning message. How do I remove the exception?

The site was JustCloud.com, and it wasn't every page that triggered the warning. I've looked through Options: Security, Advanced, etc., and can't find access to the stored exception in order to remove it. Below is the URL of one page that triggered it:

Was the a pop-up on a sliding bar at the top of the browser page or a message on the web page?
Do you remember any content of that message?
Was it about a certificate (secure connection)?
Rename the file "permissions.sqlite" to permissions.sqlite.sav in the Firefox Profile Folder to remove all exceptions (cookies, images, pop-ups, software).
If renaming didn't help then you can undo and rename the file permissions.sqlite.sav to permissions.sqlite to get back the old exceptions.

I just installed the ODBC Driver; The data source machine was available; When selected I had received the message. When it was selected I had received the message:
"ODBC -- falha na chamada.

In english, could to say: "ODBC -- fail on call.

okay the exact message is" Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Mozilla Forefox 4.0 Beta 1\firefox.exe'. make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.
Nothing happens after i install is the "Launch Firefox now" checkbox set, the same message comes up.

I have updated OSX 10.7 Lion. to find Power PC Apps are no longer supported. I can no longer access my Word documents nor can I access my Entourage Emal files. Any suggestions?

I am not at all smart when it comes iMac App's.
Having upgraded to 10.7 Lion, find that I cannot open any word documents , nor can I gain access to my Entourage email folders. I am now left feeling thatthis is really not my era.
I am an old guy attempting to keep up the young guy's technology and no longer have idea what I am doing.
I have managed to start anew with Mail.
But have no idea how to find or proceed without the now unsupported Microsoft Word application.
Where can I find a replacement for Word, and how may I ever be able to get into my old Word Documents?

Thanks Barney, I am now using pages to open exisiting Word documents. and then saving in the new format. I then trash the old incompatable (.doc) file.
This works OK, but it will be a time consuming operation to be repearted on each file that I use.
Is there any shortcut to enable sync all of the .doc files to Page?
I have not managed to recover Entourage email files . But now use Mail application, which is fine.
Encountered problems are ongoing.
I have an Epson Epson Stylus Photo Rx430 printer.
Since upgrading to OSX10.7 print files do not load to the printer. The Epson job box shows data is being sent to printer but it the task is never completed.
I take this to be a Printer Driver issue.
Today, I have been in contact with Epson Printer support, enquiring if they have any driver updates for RX430 that would be compatable with OSX10.7 Lion.
I was notified by Epson that they do not have any drivers for any of their printers for the new OSX 10.7.

Many thanks JEM24 for your help. Ive just spent the best part of six hundred pounds on a new Sony Rx100m2 compact camera, so I have no interest in the Ipods camera at all really. I doubt Ill be watching many videos on it as Im very lucky in that I have a good Android tablet. Its more as a stock music player that Ill be buying the Ipod for, if indeed I do end up buying one. I dont like the idea of paying the exorbitant amount added for more memory space that Apple along with most other companies charge. In fact I read an article on this very subject just yesterday in the tech section of Flipboard. It stated in the article that in the case of the Iphone the actual cost of each additional gigabyte of storage to Apple et al is something in the order of 60p.. This is certainly not reflected in the price us the customer has to pay at the till.. Its for this reason primarily that Apple in particular, because their products do not allow adding expandable memory of your own in the form of cheap to buy cards, that nobody in their right mind buys the 64gig etc Iphones..I am aware that we are discussing my potential purchase of an Ipod Touch here but you see my point. I cannot access Adobe Camera Raw Plug-in although it's listed in CS6 "PHOTOSHOP" menu along with my other plug ins. And I can't find it on my iMAC (10.9.5)

In CS6, how do I access the Adobe Camera Raw plug in that's listed with my other (easily accessible) plug ins: I can't find it through "automate", or "Filter" or "extensions".. I am on iMAC 10.9.5 (Mavericks)

I believe camera raw as a filter is CC only. You can access camera raw by selecting a raw, tiff or jpg image from your drive. Raw is the only one that will open by default. You must tell camera raw to open tiff and jpg in the preferences.
You can also use file>open or file>place then specify camera raw as file type. In this case it will open any of the three formats without changing the preferences.
Once the image is in Photoshop, it should be a smart object if you choose open as object instead of open as image in camera raw. As a smart object, you can double click on the thumbnail in the layers panel. This will open camera raw with that image.
