Can't find additional content file

I just downloaded (purchased) the new Premiere Elements 11. Where can I find the additional content file to download. All my previous versions had a "additional conternt" file to download in addition to actual Premiere program. I searched the Adobe website but can't seem to find it. Any suggestions??

There is no second download for additional content in version 11.

I am in the process of trying to move my Logic Pro X content over from my internal SSD to another HD. I have seen the other posts on how to do this.
However, when I look in the directories supposedly containing the samples and loops content that the other posts refer to (namely .../library/application support/logic and /library/audio/apple loops) I don't see any of the folders that others are referring to. In .../application support/logic I only see one 5.5MB file called LoopsDatabaseV08.db and in the loops folder I only see the single directory /apple loops/user loops/single files/hiphopkit.aif
I know that the "additional content" did indeed install onto my SSD by checking my storage, but where is it? I have "display library" on and completed installation of the additional content. I am running Mavericks.

I just installed the last version of Logic X 10.1 on iMac late 2009 with Yosemite.
When I select "download addittional content" from Logic menù it shows me an empy window.
I can't see any instruments, any jampack, any additional drums... nothing.
How can I solve this issue ?

You have to change your Region setting to US and/or your Language to English, in the System Preference panel Languages & Regions. You can set it back after downloading.

I have a MacBook Pro 15" late 2011. Mac OS 10.8.2 is installed on the 128 Gb SSD drive, and my "Home" directory and all files needed for my work, I placed on 1TB HDD in OptiBay.
I have a problem with Logic Pro 9.1.8 Installation process.
Can I install additional content from Logic Pro to HDD or relocate content files after installation? I'm using many "heavy" software and plug-ins in my work, and very important to me how much free space is left on the system drive.

When you move them, you will need to re-index the Loop Browser: simply drag the new (moved) folders in the Finder on top of the Loop Browser in Logic.
It might be best to leave the 'basic' Garageband loops where they are.
If you need to make even more room on your boot drive, you could think about moving the JamPack sampler instruments (around 14G), but this could cause some issues with the EXS not finding the samples in their new location. Where can I download additional content for Motion 4?

I am learning Motion 4 and am trying to find additional content such as particle emitters, replicators, shapes, etc.
I see on Apples website that the additional content is available for download for Motion 5 but I can not find it for Motion 4.

There should be an extra disk that came with FCS3 that has all the content. There isn't a seperate download for Motion 4.

I found the answer to my question.
When you attach a device (iPhone, iPad) to your Mac, in iTunes 12 in appears as a tiny icon in the second "row" of the iTunes display. Click the icon and the familiar iTunes display for the device appears. From there, on the Summary screen, you can see the dates of the backups of the device (iCloud and backup to the computer). You can also use the button to backup to the computer.

You should not have to uninstall Premiere Elements 12/12.1 in order to install and run Premiere Elements 13 on the same computer unless your computer is overloaded and the computer resources are compromised. Just use one program at a time.
Can you still use 12/12.1 on this same computer that will not let you use 13?
What specific Window operating system are you using?
Let us go through the usual drill...
1. Does the problem exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
2. Are you using a pen and tablet device instead of a mouse?
3. Did you install the program with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
4. Disable the SLCache Folder found in Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit
Local Disk C
Program Files (x86)
Common Files
Adobe
and in the Adobe Folder should be the SL Cache Folder that you delete or disable by renaming the Folder
from SLCache to SLCacheOLD.
5. Are you running the program as Administrator and is the latest version of QuickTime installed on the same
computer as Premiere Elements 13?

My LV program can't find the iak file when the program is loaded from a different PC.

My LV vi with Fieldpoint I/O and it's IAK file are stored on the company network.  If I load and run the LV vi from the PC it was developed on, everything is fine. If I load and run on a different PC (that has an identical install of LV), the LV vi can't find the IAK file (all of the I/O pointers to the file are grayed out.)
Also, if I make an EXE out of the vi on the machine that can find the IAK, it won't find it if it's run from the other machine.
It is not related to whether one machine has different "rights", as they are identical. It's not related to different installs of LV, as they are identical.
I have found that this is related to the network login name/password, and to the machine's network name.  If I login on the second machine and try to run the program, it won't find the IAK. If I point it to the IAK it will run. If I save it and log out, and then login as a different user with the same rights on the second machine, it won't find the IAK again, until I re-point it there when I re-run it. This is true for both the vi and the EXE.
This problem makes deploying the EXE difficult to different machines, as the first time it's run, the EXE has to be pointed to the IAK. Pointing the EXE to the IAK is difficult as these installations have no keyboard or mouse.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this so the LV vi or it's EXE finds the IAK from no matter where it's loaded from?

I figured I'd continue this thread because it's along he same line..
I have two Fieldpoint systems. They are identical, except for one thing...one has an AI-110 in position 7...the other has nothing. Both have the same IP address, etc and I swap the ethernet cable between them when I want to select which one I use. I use a dedicated ethernet card to the FP processor...and it's not the company net.
There are two IAK files...one for the system with the AI-110, one for the system without the AI-110. The two IAKs are in different paths.
Before I had the system and the IAK without the AI-110, I made an EXE of the code that woked with the AI-110, and it worked fine.
But now if I run the EXE after I've used MAX and opened the IAK without the AI-110, the EXE won't read the AI-110! I have to go back into MAX and open the IAK that has the AI-110 in it, close MAX and restart the EXE for the EXE to see the AI-110. (Max is NOT SET to "Download Items on Save")
I looks like the EXE is looking at MAX to get the IAK or a pointer to the IAK.
Did I build my EXE incorrectly? Shouldn't an EXE completely ignore MAX once it's made?

Can't find my data file to back up, so I can uninstall and reinstall the software. (Windows, Vista & Palm version 6.0.1)

I can't find my data file, in order to back it up. After going to Documents - Palm One, the only thing that looks like a user name is a file with no data. Somewhere there has to be another file with all my data, since data is available when I open the Palm One software on my computer. After backing it up, I want to uninstall and reinstall the Palm One software. I'm hoping this resolves my inabilty hot sync. Thanks! Lauraflavin.

You can't do that.
And before you decide to store any music that you own on a computer at work, talk to your IT department. Many organizations do not permit it for legal reasons. Standard policies are that anything stored on company owned computers is the property of the company. It could not be legally stored on their machines unless you transfer the licenses and all copies, physical and digital, to the company, meaning you no longer own the music. If they were to be audited and could not prove that they own the music, they would be subject to copyright violation penalties. Just use your iPod when you're at the office if you want to listen to music.

I think a rule of thumb is what you're looking for.
Full bandwidth CD audio (AIFF): about 10 MB/min
Apple Lossless: about 5 MB/min
MP3 @ 256k: about 2 MB/min
MP3 @ 128k: about 1 MB/min
Of course the MP3 file size is exactly linear with bit rate.
As for sound quality:
Apple Lossless is, as the name says, lossless.
MP3 @128k: fine for listening in the car or the kitchen etc. If you have an audiophile sound system, this will remind you why you spent all that money.
MP3 @256K: barely distinguishable from CD on very good equipment.
MP3 @320K: probably not distinguishable from CD.
I presume that since you're talking about importing classical CDs these are ones you own. Remember you can always do it again if you need higher fidelity or if better technology comes out. I import most CDs at 128k, since most of my MP3 listening is in the car, or walking, or as background. And I can always play the CD if I want to sit and listen.
The logic for purchased music is totally different -- you probably won't get to upgrade that without buying it some different way. So buying 128k MP3s (or AACs) is something you'll probably regret later. Buying 256k MP3s is a lot less problematic.

The browser.bookmarks.file preference does not exist by default. Right-click in about:config and select "New > String" to create it.

FreeSpace cost $1 or is a free utility that checks HD space.

If you can't download, go to Network control panel and check your settings there, look to see if there is more than one interface listed. And turn off "Auto-proxy setting" and see if that helps, it does in half the cases.
The only thing really needed would be a small Apple Software Update for Windows program to pull the drivers down while running Windows. Just that one program, which could update itself as happen with 2.0 and 2.1 version.
As it is, downloads can take 8 hrs for a tiny 620MB package. Strange. True. Been like this.
