Can't find "buy album"

I'm trying to buy an entire album - every song is
available for purchase individually, but there is no
"buy album" button. The album page says it can be
purchased for $9.99, but I can't find any place to do
that. It appears I need to buy each of the 15 songs
for .99 each. The album is "Mein Kleiner Grüner
Kaktus" by the Palast Orchester. Anyone else run into
this problem?

I have the same problem. Last time I bought an album was 1/07/2007. Everything was fine then and always in the past. Now I can buy singles but the album button does not work. It's been this way for a week. I have not added any software to my computer or changed any settings that I know of. I'm running iTunes v 6.0.4.2 but the last time I upgraded to v7.? it wouldn't work because of issues with Quicktime. Does anyone have any idea of what is going on?

I had a problem a couple of months ago when iPhotos suddenly rearranged the order of my Events (Why won't iPhoto let me arrange my photos?) . I was told "Use albums not events - events are not a good way to organize - albums and folder are designed for organisation and are very flexible".
Haha! I should have paid attention and read between the lines! My iPhotos were highly organised groupings - not according to date but the way I wanted them - and it was so easy to do! I see now that if I had them all in albums, as per the Apple Apologist suggestion, I wouldn't have this unholy mess I have been left with just to make iPhone & iCloud users happy. I am now going through Photos and making Albums (of what used to be in my Events) ... maybe I'll get this finished before they do another non user friendly update!

Why does my ITunes now get stuck when it can't find the album art?

I've noticed since yesterday when I bought my new IPod Touch my ITunes on my computer gets stuck when it can't find the album art for some music I have. It gets to that album and won't do anything, won't let me skip it or anything ... Anyone else having similar issues and if so any workaround?

When I search this album in Itunes, it shows up as I purchased it, but when I search it in purchased, it doesn't show up. I don't want to buy the album again, how can I get this album in my library?

To get the songs downloaded to your notebook, go to the iTunes Store and click on the Purchased link in the Quick Links section. Once there you should be able to see a list of purchased content, find the album and click on the cloud symbol to download them again. Can't find U2 album

Did Apple send the new U2 album to everyone? If so, I can't find it. Also, if they did send it, how does Apple know which computer to send it to since I have a Mac Pro and Macbook Pro, plus an iPad and iPhone all with iTunes of course on them.

It was put onto everyone's iTunes account, unless you had 'automatic downloads' enabled on a computer or device when it was added then ti won't have automatically downloaded onto it.
You should be able to download it into your Mac's iTunes library by ticking the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences - it should then show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against it for downloading (downloading the booklet for it this way may not work, you may get a 'corrupt file' message when trying to open it).
Or go to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage and you should be able to download it from there.
A third option is to sign out of your account (Store > Sign Out menu option), find the album in the store and then click on its free 'price' button - you should then be prompted to sign back in and the album should download.
On a phone or iPad you can either turn Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music (under 'show all') 'on' - it should then show in the Music app with a cloud icon against it for downloading. Or go to the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app, select Music, and it might then show under 'Various' (it was initially, it may now have been corrected to 'U2') - when downloaded it should correctly be under U2 in Music.

In iTunes, selecting my iPad, I can't find an album I wish to sync

I decided to add an album to what syncs between my iTunes on my Mac and my iPad.    I selected my iPad with the [] icon, moved to music, scrolled down to "Albums", and searched for the album in question.   I didn't see it.   I went back to my music playlist.   Sure enough the album is there.   I went back to check to see if it sorted on a different word - still can't find it on my iPad to check.
How do I make it show up in the albums I can sync on my iPad?

I'm on the page that says []Sync Music.   Then it has four boxes below (two boxes are scrolled off the bottom).
The boxes are Playlists, Artists, Genres, and Albums.
I have some playlists, some artists, and some albums checked.    I wanted to synchronize the album named "Meredith Willson's The Music Man (Original Broadway Cast)".    But I can't find that particular album to check.    If I click on the Music icon at the top to leave my iPad (I wonder if Apple could make iTunes more clumsy), I can find that album, but not when I click on the devices and then my iPad's music.   I don't know whether there are other missing albums - lots are visible from there.   But I'm not finding that particular album in the iPad part of iTunes.

Can't find some albums when trying to insert photos into other programs

I am having trouble finding albums (and thus pictures) when trying to insert photos into a Word document or upload to mySpace/ facebook etc.
After choosing 'insert<picture<from file<pictures<iPhoto Library' , I have the option of looking into the year-month-date or by album. Since I have a better memory of the 50+ albums I have created rather than their dates, I choose "Albums". This list only contains about half of my albums (with folder icons) and it appears outdated...ie one of the albums no longer exists in iPhoto and has been changed to a folders with several albums in it.
I'm wondering why this is happening or how i can update the album list. I realize i could use the year-month-day thing but that is too frustrating.

iPhoto 5 now stores the Album information in a data xml file. The Albums folder within the iPhoto Library folder is no longer used. At some point, usually after a rebuild, you will no longer have that folder in the Finder.
If you need to access photos from an album it is very difficult for a third party application to navigate the iPhoto Library in order to find the photo you need. You will have to know the date of import in order to find the photo.
There are some third party applications that can read the xml file and can navigate the iPhoto library and show you the Albums. Hopefully more applications will be revised to read this file.
Until then you will have to Share/Export the photos to the desktop. You can then navigate to the desktop to use the photos (example: web uploading from online photo site)
If your application supports drag and drop, you can drag the photo from an open iPhoto Library window into your application.
For email you can also use the email icon within iPhoto to open a message with the highlighted photo attached.
You can also use spotlight to find images in an Album...
This is what I have done using Spotlight to find my images that are in iPhoto albums without opening iPhoto..
In iPhoto, select the album, then select all, go to Photos/batch change.
Change the comments to text. In the text field I put the name of the Album.
Do this for each album.
Close iPhoto.
Open Spotlight and put in the name of the Album ( you have to remember the names of the albums or have then written down)
In the spotlight search results. click on "show all"
Under "Images" click on the "xx more" to show all the images in the album.
Make sure you have it in icon view, the icon view box is the last one on the blue images line.
Now you can control click on the image to "reveal in finder", open in iPhoto or Mail, etc.
I am not sure if this is going to make you happy and it is a little more work, but you can find images in albums and even view them in a slideshow (by clicking the play arrow at the end of the Images highlighted blue line) using Spotlight, all without opening iPhoto.
One important thing to know is you can set up a graphic program to be an external editor (when you double click an image in the library} such as PhotoShop or PS Elements. You set up that within iPhoto Preferences. Just make sure you save the image flattened and with the same name. The edits will then be relected in iPhoto when you hit "save".

Can't find my album on photo

I have edited and created a new album for my pictures in photo and when I try to access it in order to add it to Dropbox it is not accessible. It's as if it's not there, but I can find it in Photo when I look for it there.

If you set your Dropbox Preferences to "Enable Finder Integration", you can export directly to Dropbox using "File > Export" in Photos. Select your Dropbox in the Export panel.
Just drag your Dropbox folder to the Favourites in the Finder Sidebar for easy access in the File Chooser panel.

HT1399 How can I find an album as there is no screen in this version of the ipod,in the eraler model there is a viewing screen, this shuffle is solid just start arrows, arrows for forwarding or reversing and a plus or minus sign for changing the volume.

I have a new ipod shuffle but can't see where I can see what album I am playing as it doesn't have a viewing screen, it has a solid front and back with a circle with the various forward and back and volume controls.I am missing something!

What you see is what you get. The shuffle is a compact unit designed to play tracks at random from the selection you put on it. It isn't possible to search out and play specific tracks, nor get visual feedback of what is currently playing. You can have the device give feedback by VoiceOver if that is of any use to you.

I can't find my Album Art.

I know how to add the proper Album Art to iTunes. But, I can not locate where Windows Media Player put the Artwork. Help!!!
To add the Artwork go to iTunes Music. Right click a song title. Click on Get Info. Click the Artwork tab. Click the Add button. And, go from there.

Can't find purchased album

I'm searching for an album I purchased earlier this year.
Nowhere to be found on my iTunes.
I go to buy it again, and it says I've already bought it and to check "check for available downloads". I do this. Nothing.
Lastly, I check the store, then "My Purchases"... nothing.
Where did this thing go???

Is it not appearing in your Purchased list in iTunes or your Purchased items in the iTunes store? All your purchases should be in the iCloud if your need to redownload them.
