Can't find DAQmx Create Task.vi and lots of other VI's

Hello, I have the problem that appears in the subject.
I have the LabView2012 version on my computer, and I also downloaded and installed the NI-DAQmx9.4 but I can't run the project correctly because of those missing VI's.
Please, any help is much appreciated. This is getting very frustrating at this point.

DAQmx 9.4 does not support LabVIEW 2012. You need to install DAQ 9.5.5 or newer (9.8 is currently the latest version of DAQmx).

Stand-Alone application with LabView 7.0 getting error can't find DAQmx clear task.vi

I have attempted to create a stand alone vi with the Build Application or Shared Library(dll) in LabVeiw 7.0
When I put it on another PC to test it I get the error "can't find DAQmx clear task.vi"
the other PC has Labview 7.0 and DAQmx 8.1 also.
I believe my problem is in the source tab where you are supposed to add support and dynamic vi's I have search the forums and Ni's data base and have not found a solution.

When you run the executable on the other computer is when you get this error? Do you have the exact same versions of LabVIEW and DAQmx on both computers? Does the dialog allow you to navigate to the DAQmx clear task.vi? If so, you can find these VIs in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\vi.lib\DAQmx\configure\task.llb. Does the executable work on the development machine (the machine it was compiled on)?

Gramatically and Electronically, you can only 'read or write' a signal on a 'relevant' channel

Can't find folder created by Backup and Recovery app

Hi all,
I have A316i phone and when I select "Backup and Recovery" app and backup my SIM contacts it shows it created backup (and I can see it in the restore tab). But when I want to find that backup on my phone's SD memory card in order to copy it to my PC hard disk I can't seem to find it.
How do I copy backup folder from phone to PC ( and how do I find it)?

Go to contacts > press the settings button (bottom left side)>Import/Export.
You can also export contacts to your google account... That way every time you change your Android phone just connect with your google account and all your contacts and the data (birthday, address, photo.. )you add to them will show up.

Missing DAQmx Create Task.vi among others

Hi all,
I'm trying to run a .vi made in Labview 8.5 using Labview 2012. I have the most recent version of DAQmx (9.5) installed, but it's unable to find the file DAQmx Create Task.vi, and if I chose to ignore it about 6 other files pop up that it is also unable to find. I have uninstalled and installed DAQmx on both my computer and two other computers running Labview 2009 to try and get this to work, but nothing seems to be solving the problem. Any ideas what might be going wrong here?

Are you trying to open the VIs using 8.5 or 2012? Are the DAQmx VIs in the palette?

I'm sorry you've lost files, but when you set up an account as Guest, there's a message that clearly states "When a guest user logs out, all information and files in the guest account's home folder are deleted". If you want an account where files are retained, you should create an Admin or Standard type.
You will need to use data recovery techniques to see if your file can be recovered. The more that you use your computer, the greater the risk that the file will be overwritten. You can contact a professional data recovery service such as DriveSavers (which will be expensive, but you can judge the value of the file) or try something like Data Rescue. The latter has a demo which you can install to determine if your file can be recovered, and then, on purchase, you can actually recover the file.

Can't find Outlook 2010 Task and Contact Folders

I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7. Prior to the upgrade, my Outlook 2010 pst file had grown extremely large (39G) as it was not recognizing deletions I was making. After the upgrade, I can open the 39G pst file, but all I see is
my emails, not my task, contact or calendar folders. How can I get to my task, contact and calendar folders?

Do you mean when you select tasks, contacts or the calendar that nothing is visible in there, or that you can't see those folders at all?
If you're not seeing them at all, have you checked down the bottom of the left hand window and made sure the icons are visible for those three? If you select the Folder view you should then also see those folders along with the mail folders (if you're in
Mail view you will only see mail items displayed, not any of the other folders).
In terms of mailbox pst file size, you have remembered to empty the deleted items folder I assume? If you right click on the mailbox, go to properties and then click Folder Size you'll see how much space is being used by your mailbox folders and whether
you really are using 39GB or if it's mostly empty space.

How are you using the DAQmx Create Task.vi? Are you using it to include a global channel or copy a task that was previously created in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX)? If this is the case the only way to remove a channel would be to delete the global channel or modify the physical channels for that task in MAX. If you are creating a new task you can use the DAQmx Create Channel.vi to specify the physical channels that you would like to include or exclude.

reinstalled drivers, attempted to start NI configuration mgr and Device loader but they are immediately stopped- disabled anti virus, etc. help?

There are a few things we can try to troubleshoot error 229771. This error can occur if NI services are not running and occurs when LabVIEW tries to communicate to these non-running services. It can also occur if you have a corrupt MAX database. There are a few things we can try
1. Can you please try verifying if NI services are running?
2. Can you check if you are administrator of your PC?
3. Do you know if DAQmx was installed under an administrator account?
4. Have you tried disabling your firewall?
5. Try removing all DAQ devices, restarting your computer with them removed, shutting down the computer again and connecting them back up.
6. Did you repair your daqmx drivers or reinstall them? It is important to make sure you do a true reinstall (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/ADD22E807D5A12AD862579EC00760F79?OpenDocument) instead of repair which will force overwrite anything from previous installations
7. Try repairing a corrupted MAX database - http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/86256F0E001DA9FF86256FFD005B827C?OpenDocument http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/7FF79722720AEE488625759B0074A2CA?OpenDocument

ITunes not opening with message that it can't find or create iTunes folder

Out of the blue,since downloading latest version of iTunes to Windows XP, it now says it can't find or create the iTnes folder in My Music. The files were there. Backed up songs to external drive and uninstalled iTunes and then re-downloaded software. Same error.Repeated this several times and have lost the will too live.
Has anyone experienced the sameand what was the solve?

But you should be able to work around the issue by starting iTunes with the shift key held down and either choosing or creating iTunes Library.itl in My Music\iTunes

I am working through the "Developing High Speed Continuous Buffered Data Acquistion Applications with CompactRIO" tutorial located at http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/is/3268 I am using a CRIO-9201 analog input module instead of the cRIO-9215 shown in the tutorial.

Thank you for correcting the link to the tutorial. For the sake of clarification here are my questions. I am fairly new to LabVIEW and very new to the cRIO platform:
1. Are the calibration VIs for specific modules available as part of LabVIEW or do I have to create my own using the property nodes for the module.
As I worked through the tutorial I modified the calibration VI for the cRIO-9215 as necessary so that it would work with the cRIO-9201 module that I am using.
2. I am assuming that the "Convert to Voltage (cRIO-9125).vi" shown in the tutorial will work correctly with the cRIO-9201 since I am passing cRIO-9201 calibration data to it. Is this correct?

You can not see the forms (webDynpro UI) .The only way to see the data is to pass the information to the process context and display the process context in UWL message (By using UserTexts feature).
Again, having more process attributes ( in Hundreds) will lead to performance leated issues.
May be you can pick some important attributes on your webDynpro UI , map these attibutes toBPM process and then use the UserTexts feature (with in the Task) so that you can see these attributes data in the UWL

When I left click to highlight it just moves a ghost copy of the whole document away from where you begin.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

ITunes can't find or create the iTunes Folder (in Vista). SOMEBODY HELP ME!

I have installed iTunes in my Windows Vista but i can't run it because it appears an error showing: iTunes can't find or create the iTunes folder. This folder is usually located in My Music Folder.
The problem is that I erased the original folder "my music" from my computer and even if I create another "my music" folder and I put in the iTunes folder, the program doesen't work.
Please help me!

The problem is that iTunes uses a registry entry to find the location of the Music folder and it is not correctly set.
Apple offer this help for Windows XP, however it requires a utility called TweakUI and Miscrosoft haven't released a version for Vista. I found this link for an alternative, but I know nothing about it so I don't like to recommend it:

As alternative to this you may be able to do the following as a work around:
Hold down the shift key, keep it held down and start iTunes. You should be asked to choose or create a library. Choose create and navigate to where you want your iTunes folder - usually in your Music folder.
