Can't find *.docx attachments in Find
I have my headquarters back-end at GW version 8 SP2 ... Client @ 7.0.4 right now.
- I can do a Find on a keyword in a *.DOCX attachment OK.
I have my Regions back-end at GW version 7 SP4 ... Client @ 7.0.4 as well.
- I can't do a Find on a keyword in a *.DOCX attachment. Get back NO results.
I posted this in the agents forum as I'm wondering if this has to do with some new searching feature on the POA engine.

Ed1941I work with Office products on a PC, not a Mac. However there is a converter available through the Microsoft website for files that are received in 2007 format (.docx) and can be converted to be viewed with earlier versions of Word. I'm not sure if this like will work for a Mac, but this is what I have in my email signature from the college where I work in case someone that doesn't have Word 2007 can convert the files for viewing. Hope this helps you.

Can not open docx attachments in the iPhone
I have an end user that when he clicks on an attachment being a .docx or a .pdf that was sent via email all the icon does is blink.
It does not download to where you can open it.
This is on the iPhone 5
I have the same phone and it works correctly on my device.When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
(You also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now")
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first) using either of these. While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help? -
I have a client that uses Windows that has recently told me she can no longer open the PDFs I send her. I can't find this elusive "Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments" setting that I have read may solve my problem. Can someone get me there?

It was from InDesign that I was creating the shared pdfs. I was one of two Mac drivers in a corporate sea of Win users and had to make the change I mentioned in order for the Win users to see my pdfs for review. The difference from what you appear to be doing was that were all on an MS Exchange Server so the files were shared over the company's Exchange Server e-mail system. However, some of these files occasionally went to outside users via regular e-mail and those people had no issues either.
So what I did was tested and worked for years.
You might look at the Adobe forums or Knowledge Base to see if that is a reported issue with newer version of CS. I was on CS2 when I was doing this, and the other Mac driver was on CS3 but had no problems either.
Some Win users I've talked to find a problem opening some pdfs (not mine) in general and found they had to open Reader first and them open the file from Reader's File menu. That most often happened if the client was using an outdated version of Reader. -

Can't find word attachments in BTYahoo Mail
Hi
Apologies if this is breathtakingly onbious but I click to download the attachment, pc scans it and you get ok etc etc. Unfortunately try as I may I simply can't find the attachment in the usual download (or any other) folder!!
I've googled and know there are some "issues" but see anything specific.
I use Win 7 by the way and we're only talking about basic word docs.
Any advice would be much appreciated.Was only joking when I said breathtakingly naive!
Genuinly can't access attachments. When you click the attachment is scanned but you don't get the second dialogue box with the option to open/save etc.

Need to go back to iTunes 10.4, can't find it on this site.
Hello I am using a NAS storage device to access my music in iTunes on my Macbook Pro. At one time it worked fine & now when I select the server in the "Shared" list and login, the top activity view reads "Loading 'NAS server name' " though it does not load after any period of time. It is an issue that many people using NAS servers are experiencing, not just this particular brand I am using.
When I went to a support forum, a tech employed by the hardware provider said the problem is with iTunes 10.5. The changes Mac made this time were significant enough to create issues of compatability when loading content from NAS devices using an iTunes Server feature. The moderator advised switching back to iTunes 10.4 and not upgrading until the issue can be resolved. I need to go back to the old version of Itunes 10.4 because I can no longer listen to music with it.
Does anyone know where on the Apple site I can find a link to download this version so I can use iTunes again?
Are there any other ways that I do not currently understand that will allow me to access the content on the NAS server though iTunes?Hallo, I installed the program as you said. Everything ok.

How can I find a pdf in a Ipad when previously was uploades from Mac onto Icloud Drive?

A few questions that I can't find the answers to
I have done a search online but can't find answers, so wondering if someone could help.
1. The phone doesn't seem to be automatically backing anything up to SkyDrive even though it's set to do that. I assume it can't back up from the SD card but what about text messages that should be stored in phone memory?
2. Is it possible to automtaically back up photos and videos from the SD card to SkyDrive?
3. How do I check if my internet is connecting to wifi or GPS? (as I dont want to unnecessarily be paying for GPS). Sometimes I can't see the icons at the top of the screen.

The answers are;
1. You do not have direct access to anything backed up except for media files. A backup will restore when you register a (new) phone with the same Microsoft account. This means you will not find your backed up text messages on the Skydrive linked to your Microsoft account.
2. The pictures backup process will backup any photo or video you take on the phone once it is saved. For videos and best quality photos a Wi-Fi connection is required. It isnot relevant whether you have setup the phone to save images to SD card or internal strage.
If you do not see photos taken appear on SkyDrive even if you have set up the option correctly (see below) There's probably some external reason it's not working. I doubt it has anything to do with the phone.

PC Suite can't find my Nokia 5230!!
Well, my problem is this:
I got this phone 3 months ago, and it paired with PC Suite perfectly, till few days ago, when i lost connection with it, and now PC Suite and OVI Suite can't find my phone. I checked bluetooth device that im using, and made sure that phone bluetooth is on.
In Attachment is shown how PC Suite and Bluetooth react when i try to reconnect the phone.

1. in device go to tools> bluetooth> paired devices> delete all paired devices
2. My computer> manage> device manager> Bluetooth devices> right click and update driver
3. delete existing paired devices from pc also
4. Uninstall Pc/Ovi Suite, PC Connectivity solution and Nokia Connectivity cable drivers from Add/remove program if anything is there.
5. Delete the files from here If anything is there)
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Nokia\Ovi Suite
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Nokia
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\OviInstallerCache
6. Please download MSI clean up utility from the below link

Restart Computer.
Then download and install Windows Installer, so that the installer is upto date.

Very simply, a full-wave rectifier is the absolute value of your waveform. I attached an example that shows how to do a full-wave rectifier and a half wave rectifier.
LabVIEW is not a circuit simulation program. It is a powerful software development environment. Of course, you can create a circuit simulator with LabVIEW, but is something you have to create.
To simulate circuits in LabVIEW, you just need to know and understand the mathematical equations that govern the circuit you want to simulate. Then, you just "wire" those equations in LabVIEW.
If you are looking for a circuit simulation software, you can check MultiSIM from Electronics Workbench.

Hi memorse414414, Your Adobe ID will suffice for activation. For subscription, the installer would validate from the server using your Adobe ID.

Where can I find the VI "draw a circle by radius" (it's used in NI demo) ?

Where can i find the blocks of feedforward system?
Hi,
I would like to create a feedforward system. However from what i've learn in a feedforward system i'll need a gain, deadtime and lead-lag block, where can i find these 3 blocks? i'm using LB8.2 and in the example finder i can only find 1 example, which is "Control Loop (with VFF and AFF).lvporg" but i cant open it due to missing parts. Are there any other examples that i can use as references? A simple and basic form of a feedfroward system.

WormwoodLook at the example: Simulation - Cascade and Feedforward Surge Tank Level.vi that comes with LabVIEW Real-Time or with the PID Control Toolkit.
Here is the picture if you want to see the controller implemented in LabVIEW. The Feedforward is a Lead-Lag block. Hope this helps
