Can.t find employee and other sample tables in oracle 11g express edition

hi i am new to oracle 11g express edition. I want to run my queries over the employee table, but here i can'nt find this. I use the
Select * from tab;
it shows no rows selected.
Is it present in the 11g or not.

You have to unlock 'hr' Db user.These are the tables u will find in hr
TNAME
REGIONS
COUNTRIES
LOCATIONS
DEPARTMENTS
JOBS
EMPLOYEES
JOB_HISTORY
EMP_DETAILS_VIEW
For Unlocking hr,in the oracle webpage connect as system (or) sys.Goto Administation-->Manage Database Users-->clik hr and unlock.

Error accessing table on Oracle 10g Express Edition

I am unable to access tables uploaded after Oracle 10G express edition installation.
The error message is ""ORA-00942: table or view does not exist"
Meanwhile, the table is in existence when viewed via object browser.
Pls can anybody help out.

Can't find how and where to downaload the Oracle Client 8i and Developer 6i

All,
I am looking for downloads at OTN for the following.
1. Oracle Client 8i
2. Oracle Forms and Reports 6i
I had them installed on my m/c but lately I have been getting SQL*Net connection failures. I have been suggested to install the whole developer tools again.
Any help in this regard is appreciated.

For the Oracle 8i client, download the 8i database server and do a custom installation - client installation is one of the options.

don´t be worry, this would not be a problem.
You have to take the same Aplle ID on both devices, then you can sync them via iTunes by using all universal apps on each device, create playlists, albums and all the things you need and sync it, no problem...

something categorized as Other is not necessarily something that should be erased — for example, most components of OS X would be categorized as Other. If you would like to make more room on your internal disk, it would probably be better to choose from some of the other categories (viz Audio, Movies, Photos), and to move such files from your internal disk to an external disk.

Lion is a bit of a memory hog - kernel_task will use quite a bit and Safari is known to use more; you can't do anything about the system, but changing to Firefox may help a little. This tape is from very long time ago so we don't know which audio sampling rate we recorded with..

The sampling rate is set by the Sony DVMCDA2 you are using, when the conversion is made from the analog input to the digital (DV) output. You should be outputting standard DV which is 16bit 48khz audio.
Assuming you are in the US, your Easy Setup for FCP should be DV-NTSC, and then open the Log and Capture Pane and set the Capture Settings Device Control to Non-Controlable Device and you should be good to go.
You will have to roll the deck manually and start and end your capture manually.

As per ur suggestion of path direction I have checked the table in production and development both.
In my Z table, I have 2 key fields and for those 2 key fields the primary indexs are created automaticaly and displayed in Developement but in Production there is no indexs are created for those 2 fields.
Could you please guide me what could be the reason?

DD02L has the name of all the TABLES in the SYSTEM. It has both SAP and Customer's TABLES.
First of all exclude all Z* and Y* tables from dd02L. Still there are many tables in CUSTOMER NAMSPACE.
So make a program, LOOP at all entries of DD02L and then check the name space of each entry using the function module:-
<b>TRINT_OBJECT_NAMESPACE_INFO</b>.
If the namspace is not EQUAL to 'S', then dont count that entry else add one to the counter.
This would tell you all SAP Standard Tables in the system.

Why I had no problems with the VZW employees and other people have?

I think that most people who cannot resolve problems with the VZW have an attitude problem.
Wise saying: you can get more with honey than with vinegar.
Since I “upgraded” my old Samsung Sway to a new Samsung Intensity III, in the past three weeks I spent many hours dealing with the VZW store employees, customer service reps, and tech support people. The phone was replaced two times, and I had no problem getting the replacements.
The third phone did not working how I expected.
Today I called VZW customer service and said I don’t need anymore trouble shooting and I wanted find a resolution, which will be satisfactory to both of us. After a short conversation with a customer service rep, I was connected with a tech support. I told him that I don’t need any more trouble shooting on the Samsung Intensity III because I already spent HOURS doing that on three devices.
We spoke about what the VZW could offer me, about replacements with different phones, etc. Our conversation ended with me offering the resolution that could satisfy me, which was to keep this phone and my account will be credited for the $30.00 “upgrade” fee and I will buy Samsung Sway on eBay. NO PROBLEM.
My account was credited and I was advise about the ESN number and activation.
Why I had no problems with the VZW employees and other people have? The answer is simple. I did not have attitude when I was spoke to them.
So if you want the problem to be resolved, put your anger in you pocket before you start the conversation. You can say that you are angry, frustrated, etc like I did, but add that you understand that this is not their fault that the manufactures makes a crap phones.

Doing an upgrade with the VZW was a normal thing for me. I didn’t expect that Samsung Intensity III would be a junk phone. My last upgrade was 4 years ago. I had $50.00 ‘new every two’ credit on my account, which was used for an upgrade. I lost the $50.00 credit paying for Samsung Intensity III. Sometimes we learn from our mistakes or from a bad experience. Three weeks ago I did not know that I could buy a phone on eBay and activate with VZW without paying $30.00.
Samsung Sway is coming from …eBay – keep your fingers crossed for me.

The app is not necessary; that only for tracking from another iOS device. If you set up Find My iPhone, you can track the iPhone from the iCloud web site:
icloud.com/find
If you didn't configure Find My iPhone on the device before you lost it, then you're out of luck.

UPDATE: I had 36 Safari windows open and minimized on the dock from my last session; 20 of those windows failed to open b/c Safari "couldn't find the server"; I just went to the URL bar of all 20 pages and clicked return, and all 20 pages loaded perfectly, without dropping any images or losing formatting. This is a puzzle!!!

you can do is go to ijailbreak.com then select downloads section.......scroll down and see the latest version of ipod touch second generation is available for download.....when it gets downloaded connect your iPod to itunes or keep it connected then hold option and click restore (mac) search the software by writing in search "iPod" a thing with white cube will show up if it is the file you just downloaded click it and wait for itunes to do its work......you can ask more if you are on windows

It seems that you had a hacked iphone that was locked back to the rightful carrier when you updated as it should.
