Can't find the manual setup anymore

Hi Community!
Yesterday I got myself a TC 2 TB for my MBP and PC setup. Everything went fine with the setup so far. The airport setup assistant guided me through to make my basic settings. Now I would like to make fine adjustments here and there. But when I open the Airport Utility now I can't find the assistant or the manual setup anymore. Where did it go? All I get is the cool graphic with the internet globe and my TC at the bottom. When I click on the TC I can edit, but not for example my printer for sharing over the TC and other configurations that were present during the initial setup.
How do I get the manual setup back?

Just how do I get rid of the 6.0 version. I tried deleting it but a message said it is a utlity app and can't be deleted. I'm really sorry, I'm new to the Mac world.
Suggest that you leave it on your Mac and wait for further updates and improvements.
It is possible to delete the application, but you must use Terminal commands to do so. The Terminal is a scary place for most of us. Best to leave things alone.
You can keep both 5.6 and 6.0 on your Mac

Where can I find a keyboard map for a macbook pro

I am new to Mac and have some problems with the names of some keys and the meaning of some of the "unusual" symbols on them. Where can I find an "idiot guide" and such information as where are the Home & Delete keys?

HT1338 in version 5: i can't find my downloads widget anymore.....anyone?

hi! i recently purchased and successfully downloaded version 10.5.8 and all was fine. i've suddenly lost the "download" widget and cannot download, open docs, or images. anybody know why?

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

[DeskI XI 3.1] Can't find the "CurrentUser" function anymore

Hi to all,
I'm moving some BO 6.5 reports to our new BO XI 3.1 release...I've got these reports which use the function "CurrentUser" (I'm not sure that's the English name, I've got it in Italian)...however, this function seems to have been disappeared from Desktop Intelligence! I can't find it in the list of functions, and if I write it I get an error that the function doesn't exist.
However, in the DeskI help on functions, the CurrentUser is still listed...
Any idea?

Hi,
I've found an answear: somehow, it's a translation issue I believe, because I've found the function to be associated to a name like this: =Componente aggiuntivo aziendale() (it means Additional company component).
Still, it's impossible to call the function...so I believe I'll have to wait for a fix from SAP?

I can't find ibooks or maps..where are they located?

So I've downloaded the new update for OS X Mavericks, but I'm not seeing ibooks, or maps in my apps bar...I know it probably seems remedial, but I need help finding them.

It's important for you to know that the icons in the "apps bar" or "dock" are not the actual programs. Those icons are pointers (aliases) to the programs which are located in the Applications folder as Lanny above pointed out. You can make the pointer (alias) stay in the dock after you quit the program by right-clicking (control-clicking) the icon, selecting Options, then selecting Keep in Dock. Hopefully you also know that dragging an icon out of the dock makes it disappear in a cloud of smoke but it doesn't delete the actual program. The program remains in your Applications folder.

Map Loader 1.2.1 But can't find non navigable map?

I downloaded map loader v 1.2.1 from Nokia website for N95. The FAQ section of nokia maps show that non navigable map are available to download. But when i run map loader, Pakistan isn't on the list of countries?

I have same problem, im looking for map of Fiji but cant find it anywhere. I asked that same question few times with no answer. Now only thing that is coming into my head is that maybe some of those maps maybe are incomplete and small in size so its only available to download then over-the-air? Its quite puzzling. I really hope somebody knows anything more.

Can't 'find' using multiple criteria anymore

Did something change in Finder such that we can't set multiple criteria for searches any more? Or is my Finder corrupt in some way?
In a finder "Find" window, I have the search bar showing "This Mac" the current folder and the options "Contents" and "File Name" -- then there's "Save" and the little '+' icon. It used to be I could add additional search criteria by clicking the '+' (such as file visibility, extension, etc.) -- but now, clicking the '+' just opens an empty space below the existing search bar.
Is there a 'Simple Finder' setting somewhere that got switched without my knowledge causing this? Or is my Finder borked?

Well, I'd try moving the finder prefs file, but last night when I went to restart my MBP to deal with something else, on restart all video was gone. I even tried booting into the Apple Hardware Test on the Leopard install DVD, and while it seemed to boot up okay, there was nothing on the screen at all.
Took it into an Apple Store this morning, and they ran a test, and found the graphics card/chip not even registering - so it looks like I'm into a new logic board. Thanks goodness I got AppleCare this time!!
So, when I get my baby back, I'll see if the Finder issue is still there, and if so, then I'll try moving the finder prefs file out.

Can't find the wine menu anymore :(

I've been playing around with my Wine menu, and somehow managed it, to remove it. Unfortunately I can't get it back again now .
Beforehand every windows setup that has installed start menu entries has created its entried in the "Applications -> Wine" menu, but now this menu is gone.
Although the applications still create .desktop files in "/home/johnpatcher/.local/share/applications/wine/", they aren't shown in my "Applications" menu anymore. How can I fix this?

Could fix the problem by removing wine completly (according to this guide) and re-installing it. This way I have to re-install all of my applications, but that is probably faster than struggling around with my applications.menu. I guess alacarte sucks a little bit, when it comes down to manually change the menu file(s) afterwards.

Can't find Scaling and Mapping Express VI

I have just upgraded from 6 to 7.1 and am going through the "Getting Started" booklet. On page 1-9, it says to get the Scaling and Mapping Express VI from Arithmetic and COmparison. I don't see it there. I used Search and couldn't find it either. Am I lookiing in the wrong place? Thanks, Peg

I downloaded the example "scalemap.vi" and it cannot run because of the lack of subscaling.vi and configure scaling and mapping. It wants to look in scaleandmapblock.llb but that does not seem to exist. I've tried poking around on the Installation CD but I don't really know where to look. I guess I'll try reinstalling 7.1.

Search function - can't find talk show appearances anymore

[I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere, I couldn't find mention of it.]
If I search for a favorite actor, I'll get his or her filmography--in that horrid "here are big, often-redundant and not-really-useful pictures that you can't turn off because who needs all that pesky written info in a reasonably-sized font anyway" display-- but no info about talk-show appearances.
It's not a search if it doesn't actually search everything. Is this going to get fixed?

Basically you can no longer search program content. I spent a long time on the phone and got a ticket opened, which was closed a day later with 'this functionality will be returned in a future release'. No eta.

I assume you are using Pages 5. The version of Pages & version of OS X are details that are critical, especially in this time of two vastly different versions of Pages.
In Pages 5 there is now a grammar checker in the Edit menu. I have no idea how well it works as I use Pages 4.3 to actually get any work done.

Where can one find the Azores maps?

Acording to Nokia, Ovi Maps v3.04 includes maps of the Azores islands. However, after installing the new version and the maps for Portugal (yes, Azores belongs to Portugal!) I've found that the maps of the islands aren't included.
How can I get the maps of this islands in my phone?

Well thats nice to now that if I buy bigger memory card and better internet connection I could have the Azores maps. My internet connection sucks and file downloading stops (inc. Ovi maps) at 10 or 100 Mb or something, you never know. Downloading allmost 2Gb is not possible for me.

HELP! Finder can't find my 2nd HD anymore!

My problem is, my 2nd HD is gone! I have my OS in my primary which is why I can still boot and go online, but my documents and whatnot are in the other and Finder doesn't recognize it! Disk Utility and System Profiler won't recognize my 2nd drive either.
Last thing I did before this: I downloaded some mpg and mp3 files unattended overnight and have been playing them this morning and all of a sudden, and among all the multitasking, I think a mpg file playing on VLC caused a heavy busy signal - I couldn't even forcequit VLC because Finder was hungup too.
So I decided to restart.
I restarted by shutting down on the Mac's power button (pressing it couple seconds). And again the powerbutton.
My specs:
OS X 10.3.9
G4 1.3GHz OWC upgrade
768 MB RAM
I still do have my OS9 so I could try locating the 2nd drive that way, but how can I fix it there? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Yep it sure did mess up my directory.
So this is weird. I zapped my PRAM during startup and Finder found the secondary HD. I ran Disk Utility and the directory was damaged so had that repaired. Cured the problem. But I still think the primary startup disk is a little messed up too. Stalls a bit sometimes. Have to start from a CD and repair that as well. Thanks for the input.

I can't find my downloaded apps anymore!

I wanted to install a app that i had dowloaded some days before and noticed that the "purchased apps" - tab (I hope it is right), in the appstore doesn't work anymore! It just says Loading and wents white then (after 1-2 seconds). I had also tried to logout and login in the Appstore and iCloud, but that didn't help. I wrote this question to the iTunes Support but they sad that this question is more a iCloud "thing".I have an iPod 4th Generation.
I hope you can help me!

I also noticed that the "Genius - tab" has the same problem!!
